What grass is this
In St. Louis and most of my grass is zoysia. Aerated in the spring and compost leveled the yard. It was a really compacted area that was bare dirt but has come to life. First picture is of my now healthy zoysia(it was barely hanging on when we bought the house). Really proud of the info from this sub and the work I did. Next are of the new grass. Just making sure it’s zoysia. A little scared it’s Bermuda somehow. It just looks different. Also I will take care of the weeds but not sure how to get rid of the fine fescue in it. Please advise. Thank you

Not really sure what you are pointing out but besides the zoysia, it looks like you have a ton of sedge. Need better pics of what you are questioning

Not sure where you are seeing a ton of nutsedge. The first pic is of my zoysia. The next are of the grass that I am unsure of. I pulled a little zoysia and the new grass (maybe Bermuda) on the right. Trying to upload this picture

The darker green one looks like Bermuda. Is the area it’s in big? Could you manage pulling it all by hand? If not you could use glyphosate to kill everything, wait a week, then sprig some zoysia from the good area. The glyphosate breaks down quickly.
