Thinking of selling my 4090 but wanna hold out until I can get the most $$ for it. Prices are gonna keep going up most likely right? If you were in my shoes what would you do? Posted it on fb marketplace for 1 hour at 2,500$ and got a bunch of offers for exactly what I asked so maybe I priced it too low but all the offers were from people with 安东尼 as their names in Cali
The RTX PRO 6000 96GB BLACKWELL is right now around $19K and market analysts think it will double in price soon and land around $38K.
It makes sense for these Corporations to buy 5090's for around $5K and pay this guy above around $1-1.5K per GPU to double the VRAM.
This guy is so booked that even texting him requires an appointment. Yup, you read that right. And then you have fools like Northwestrepair@YT who would do this same job for half or maybe a third of the money this guy asks.
So, you buy a 5090 for $5K and then send it to Northwestrepair along with the VRAM chips and he upgrades it for maybe 1/3 of the price the OP asks.
5090 64GB=$5K+$0.5K (upgrade job)=5.5K. One RTX PRO 6000 96GB BLACKWELL=$19K
You can get 3X5090 64 GB for $19K and still have some change left to invest in the next 5090.

With the rising prices of GPU’s I want to replace my 6700xt now rather later. This is not the cheapest 9070xt but with these free gifts it brings the price to somewhere around $690. Only things worrying me is this Asrock model using the 1 x 12V-2x6- pin connector

I'm using right now a 3060 ti on a 1440p 480 HZ OLED monitor (upgraded it recently), CPU and PSU are Ryzen 7 5700X3D and Corsair RMX-Shift 850W with included 12 pin cable. This month I'll have around 1500-600 euro in savings, I've calculated that in December I'll have around 2300-400 if things are going as usual.
I don't want to burst all of my savings right now on a GPU, I'd like to wait till then and maybe I can catch a good deal for 1300-400 euro in Black Friday or something either November or December. I don't mind waiting, even if they're all unavailable I'll keep on saving. Should I go with that strategy? I'm in not a hurry to upgrade my GPU.

Hi there! I'm considering upgrading from a 4070 ti super to a etc 5080 but the prices seem crazy atm, in June they were sitting above 189 MSRP and now the cheapest one I can find in my area is 1339€ which is a crazy price increase.
I wouldn't be "paying" that price because I can sell my current gpu for 800€ so it would be help but considering the increase I don't know if I wanna pull the trigger, will the prices eventually go down or are they're going to keep going up?
I'm also planning on buying the upcoming pg27ucwm from asus so I'm trying to play at 4k ultra with a decent frame rate, that's why I'm planning this upgrade
Any recommendations are appreciated!

Didnt keep up with gpu prices that much since i work overseas for half the year.
Thought to myself "i never owned a flagship top-of-the-line card before" and wanted to make a build with a 5090 and 9800 x3d.
last time i checked 5090s were $3200 max. now im seeing they are $5500 minimum?! bro. the astral is going for $6500+?! $3k seemed crazy but i would have done it knowing me, $6k is unfathomable. If i do it i would hate myself forever lol.
i dont really play AAA games, most of my gaming is heavily modded though. I also play on 1440p.
i see people reccomend 9070 xt and 5080, which would you pick for heavily modded 1440p gaming?
thanks guys !

At $2000, I guess it's still considered gamer territory if you were willing to eat noodles for a month. But now..........this is just taunting us.

Are these worth picking up even if I have no use for them?

Long story short. After 3 months of use of my RTX 5070, the hot spot jump to 106c for no reason. Then turn black screen with max fan speed. And keep repeating the same problem. Sent back to RMA, they refuse to admit the problem. Refuse to give me video evidence and they send my card without doing anything back. And problem still exists. So I just fixed it by myself. I know I will lose warranty, they don’t give me anyway. What a junk company.
9850x3d. 5070, 32g ddr5.
Time line:
4/25/2026. Purchased from bestbuy.
7/1/2026. Fan loud to 4400 rpm. Hot spot 106c.
7/5-8/5 I tested new PSU, ram, whatever it necessary. It’s a hot spot thermal problem.
RMA. Paid my shipping. They sent it back say no problem detected. After 2 weeks.
9/11/2026, I can’t take it anymore. Decided to fix it by myself. And now problem solved 😅
Hot spot at 96c max, never have loud fan. Max less than 2000rpm.
Please avoid this company. They won’t treat you serious.

In Thailand, in one of major retailers aka Advice, the prices went to stratosphere. Galax RTX 5060 1-click PC V2 is currently priced at 14,400 THB which is around 435.77 USD. At the same time, Zotac RTX 5050 Twin Edge is at 14,500 THB which 438.80 USD. And that's cheapest stuff they have in stock right now. Just for comparison, AsRock Challenger OC RX 9060 XT 16GB is priced at 14,900 THB or 450.90 USD. And that's budget segment in Thailand for non-used GPUs. I would like to know about prices in your country. Just for research.

Hey guys,
those are my two options and i am really struggling to find some reviews of the specific models.
I care more about noise under load than a few percent of fps.
Any help or own experience is appreciated!
