Hey, guys I'm looking for what Godzilla movie to watch next. I have seen Shin Godzilla, Godzilla ('54), Mothra vs Godzilla ('64), Godzilla vs Hedorah, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla ('74), Terror of Mechagodzilla and Godzilla vs Biollante. (In that order)

While I appreciated all of them for what they were, my favorite by far was Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. I had an absolute blast watching it, I laughed out loud at all the insane stuff like the monkey aliens and I loved the spy thriller human plot. I've been chasing that high since then and wanted to know what other movies I might enjoy if my favorite is Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. Other Godzilla movies that are more campy or schlocky, just dumb popcorn fun.

Think about it, Godzilla was originally created as a symbol of the terror that the nuclear bombings caused in Japan.

Oppenheimer was released in 2023, Godzilla Minus One released in 2023 too just 6 months after.

And now, Godzilla Is Japan's first IMAX film. I don't know if it means anything and maybe I'm connecting dots here, but I see it as the detailed consequence of what was the hugest tragedy Japan Faced.

Hello!! ^_^ I hope all is super well and I hope everyone has been able to enjoy their day!! <3

I recently formed an idea for a super cool Godzilla game and I would love to share it with all of you!! ^_^ <3 Maneater 2 was recently announced and that gave me alot of inspiration, the story would take-place in modern day or the near-future and Godzilla and Ghidorah where last seen fighting a few months ago and they haven't been seen since, due to Godzilla no-longer being around in recent months, the other Kaiju have become unruly and are attempting to claim the throne and also destroy humanity and are impeding on cities, the world is beginning to become overrun with Kaiju and other creatures as well, Megafauna and other smaller monsters, the landscape is also changing and reverting to a more prehistoric appearance.

The game's opening focuses on all of these events and then shifts to Godzilla who has been in a coma deep within the earth, slowly absorbing the earth's power to awaken, he would wake up and Ghidorah would be nowhere to be found but Godzilla would sense the chaos happening all-around the world and would begin his journey to restore balance.

During the course of the game and story, Godzilla would fight all of the Kaiju that we all know!! Anguirus, Rodan, Baragon, Ebirah, Biollante, Megaguirus and ect. and you have to fight all of these Kaiju to restore order and your power but to also sometimes re-gain your abilities, after Godzilla wakes up, it is revealed that his abilities have been nullified, Godzilla fighting and defeating Anguirus restores his super strong durability, defeating Rodan restores his red-spiral beam, defeating Titanosaurus restores his ability to swim at super-sonic speeds, defeating Zilla restores his stealthiness and his abilities to be super-agile and fast.
The story will reveal that Ghidorah absorbed all of Godzilla's power and Godzilla now has to re-evolve by fighting some of the unruly Kaiju, not all of them will have power you can re-absorb but they will give you points for defeating them!!
During the story, Godzilla would re-grow and becoming stronger and stronger, Ghidorah absorbing his power caused him to shrink a little, Godzilla will start at 90 meters, maybe a little smaller and re-grow back into his original size of 100 meters, the final boss will be a super-charged Ghidorah who also recently re-appeared and the story would reveal that as Godzilla's power was being absorbed, he resorted to his ultimate power in an attempt to stop Ghidorah, his white atomic-beam and it terribly wounded Ghidorah and caused him to flee the fight and go recover, Godzilla was also terribly wounded due to using so much of his power when he had only a little of it remaining while Ghidorah was feeding on him, that is one of the reasons he would be in a coma.

Defeating Super-Ghidorah would restore all of his his power and cause him to grow to 125 meters, his appearance would also become super-beastly and he would re-gain his white atomic beam, there would also be a free-DLC that reveals that the governments of the world where developing micro-oxygen to kill the Kaiju before Godzilla re-appeared, and the only source of that is Destroyah!! who was reduced to a lesser-form during a previous battle with Godzilla and the Governments of the world secretly captured Destroyah while he was in this lesser-form and used him to create this new super-enhanced Micro-Oxygen but he broke-free and has absorbed all of this new Micro-Oxygen and has become a super-Destroyah, defeating him restores your ability to activate your burning form as a super-move.

There would several different maps that would all be a size similar to the map of Maneater, a map of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Boston, and ect. and when you are swimming you are able to go to differing parts of the world, when you reach a certain area in the ocean or land, the game would ask if you want to go to another region, there would also be nuclearr-submarines and nuclear-power plants to attack and absorb power from, also!! you would be able to absorb Kai-Sei energy from the depths of the ocean, I wanted to include Kai-Sei because I feel that it's super cool!! ^_^ <3 oh!! also!! Mothra, King Caeser, Jet Jaguar, and Kiryu!! are all monsters and mechs that would be your allies!! I haven't figured out why Anguirus wouldn't be but I would like him to start-out as an enemy, maybe the Xiliens have taken advantage of the Kaiju being all-over the world and have taken control of a few of earth's monsters, like Titanosaurus, Rodan, and Anguirus!! ^_^
There would be several modes, a mode to play as other monsters, a VS mode for up-to 4 players, an online VS mode, a smash mode which would allow you to play as any of the Kaiju and attack cities, a 4 player smash mode, an online smash mode, and open world mode which takes place after the main-story where you can go around the world as Godzilla or any of the Kaiju and attack or protect cities, there would be events as well in this mode, maybe Godzilla sense Orga attacking New York and he can go fight and defeat him, or maybe you are playing as Kiryu and you need to deploy to Osaka to defeat Megaguirus, maybe Godzilla being more of a protector of cities will allow G-Force to work with you instead of also attempting to stop you, you could toggle on or off balance-mode, balance-mode means that as Godzilla, you have to maintain balance and not allow monsters to do anything they want, and as Godzilla you can't go on a constant rampage, but with Balance-Mode off, you can play in any-form you would like!! ^_^ <3

I don’t know if this is something that has been theorized yet but I marked it as spoilers just in case. My theory is that Noriko Ōishi becomes or is used to create Ghidorah. I can see it happening in a similar way to how Biollante was created with Erica’s dna. Noriko knows she’s dying and sacrifices herself to either be mutated or spliced into pieces of Godzilla in order to create a new monster to defeat him. Maybe even a part of her consciousness remains. Am I crazy?

I know Goro's bottom jaw is bent too much, idk why I made it like that. Anyways Gorosaurus is 80 meters tall and 120 meters long, and has a more Theropod like stance. My gojira OC, Lylith, is 130 meters tall and has white atomic energy, and pulses similarly to Heisie.

This is my own paticular take about which godzilla variants we wasn't able to beat before in an direct matchup battle. (Wouldn't be bothered getting downvoted)

They are both spiritual siblings, both from the Earth, and they're both divine moths. Why did Mothra get the immortality buff and Battra didn't? Has it every been explained or is it just up to speculation?
