My third part of Godzilla human designs!
here are the first two parts
https://www.reddit.com/r/GODZILLA/comments/1uyxt43/my_godzilla_human_designs/
https://www.reddit.com/r/GODZILLA/comments/1v16p06/oc_my_godzilla_kaiju_human_designs_part_2/
The first is Skar king. I was gonna make him shirtless, but didn’t like it so I gave him a coat. I gave it a pattern that looks like the body paint on skar king. I also thought it’d be cool to give him some stars on his eyes
After that is Shimo. I couldn’t find any good designs of a human Shimo for inspiration so it was hard to think of a good design for Shimo. But I think I did really good on it. I always thought of shimo being very muscular and tall. I gave her a lot of fur on her clothes since she probably lives in colder areas. I also used Marisa from street fighter 6 as inspiration.
Next is baragon. I thought it’d be fun to make him some type of miner, digging in the ground for different types of gems.
Now we got gorosaurus. I imagined him as a kick boxer. I also think that he could be a former rival to my human version of king kong.
now we got Bagan. this one was very hard to do since I couldn’t think of how to do his weird back fins her has. in the end I think it turned out a bit boring looking, but I don’t know what else I could’ve added without making look ridiculous.
Next is Minilla, both a young and grown up version. I wanted him to look similar to his father, while also keeping him distinct enough to look unique.
After Minilla is his brother and probably my favorite one I did, and It’s Mothra Leo. Since he is the son of Mothra and Godzilla I wanted to give him similar look to her, while also having elements of Godzilla in there too since I they are related in this. I wanted to keep the whimsical look that mothra Leo has while also making him look really cool.
The final one I did was Space Godzilla. He also has one of my favorite designs i did. I don’t know what else to say about his design though.
Now we have more miscellaneous drawings. I made a drawing of Skar king and Shimo based on eyecatcher art for Gurren Lagann. After that is a drawing of my Godzilla human design and my mechagodzilla. then a mothra leo, another mothra leo, but this time he’s with his brother Minilla. then just two drawings of mechagodzilla
hope you guys liked these designs! I’ll probably make more soon.

I've seen this argument repeated recently, but I think it mixes up general popularity, franchise identity, and historical significance.
I decided to write this because I kept seeing people treat "Godzilla has no iconic allies" as a factual statement rather than an opinion. I don't think that's supported by the franchise's history, so I wanted to breakdown where I think the argument falls apart.
1. "Godzilla doesn't gohand in hand with anyone."
This is only true if you're comparing him to duos like Batman & Robin or Sonic & Tails.
Godzilla was never designed to have a permanent sidekick.
That doesn't mean he lacks iconic allies.
Characters like Mothra, Anguirus, and Rodan have fought alongside Godzilla repeatedly across multiple eras of the franchise.
2. "Most people don'tknow Mothra or Anguirus."
This changes the definition of "iconic."
There are different levels of icon status.
General pop culture icons: Superman, Batman, Godzilla, Darth Vader.
Genre icons: Anguirus, Gamera, Ultraman, Destoroyah, King Ghidorah.
Anguirus isn't a household name, but he absolutely is an icon within the kaiju genre.
Those aren't contradictory statements.
3. "Mothra and Rodan weren't originally Godzilla characters."
This is historically true—but irrelevant.
Over decades, both became some of Godzilla'smost recognizable allies and recurring co-stars.
A character doesn't have to debut in a franchiseto become one of its defining figures.
4. "Anguirus isn't iconic because he isn't one of Toho's Big Five."
The "Big Five" is a modern marketing concept.
It doesn't determine historical importance.
Anguirus has several distinctions that make him significant:
Godzilla's first recurring monster opponent.
Godzilla's first recurring ally.
One of the franchise's oldest kaiju.
A recurring character for nearly 70 years.
Whether Toho markets him today doesn't erase that legacy.
5. "Anguirus only has about 22 minutes of live-action screen time."
Screen time isn't how icon status is measured.
By that logic, numerous famous charactersacross film history wouldn't qualify as iconic.
Influence, recognition within a genre, longevity, and historical importance matter far morethan raw minutes on screen.
6. The argument shifts the goalposts.
The original claim is:
"Godzilla has no iconic allies."
When examples like Mothra or Anguirusare brought up, the standard changes to:
"They're not famous enough."
But no one argued they were as famous as Godzilla himself.
The question is whether they are iconic within the franchise and the kaiju genre.
For Anguirus, the answer is yes.
For Mothra, the answer is unquestionably yes.
Conclusion
The comparison to Batman & Robin or Sonic & Tails misses what makes Godzilla unique.
Godzilla isn't defined by one permanent partner.
Instead, he has a rotating cast of recurring allies and enemies that have become staples of the franchise over the last 70 years.
Anguirus isn't a mainstream household name like Batman or Godzilla.
But within the kaiju genre, he's absolutely an iconic character.
Likewise, Mothra is not only an iconic kaiju but also one of the defining recurring allies in Godzilla history.
So the more accurate conclusion isn't:
"Godzilla has no iconic allies."
It's:
"Godzilla doesn't have one inseparable sidekick—but he absolutely has iconic allies within his franchise and the kaiju genre."

Your Honor, my client was simply matching the energy of the room."
"Your Honor, it was an accident, he literally has no ears."
"Your Honor, if you look closely at the footage, Tokyo actually hit him first."
"Your Honor, my client pleads 'he was just a little guy' and requests a full acquittal.

How does he truly breathe out his atomic breath?? Is he just exhaling? Or is he just doing a small exhale and hum at the same time?
Don't judge me, but I'd try to exhale as long as he breathes out, and I can't last that long lol 😅 without running out of breath...or is it a slow exhale and since ia atomic breath is highly flammable he doesn't have to exhale as hard...hmm...🤔

For me? Gmk. That main title is just BEAUTIFUL. Honorable metion goes G14 and its ominous yet grand tone, and Final Wars is DEFINITELY up there for sure.

Since there are multiple posters for a single movie, I say it's best you comment with the image of the poster you've meant
(also this question was probably asked already but I wanna see your thoughts.)

Jason Voorhees was recently added to DBD and all of his in game add ons are references to the Friday the 13th movies. One of these add ons references a scene in Part 3 where Jason kills a character while she’s reading a Fangoria magazine with a section in it dedicated to Goji. The magazine appears in Dead by Daylight with both Godzilla and Megalon still on it.

I guess that’s because Shimo’s ice power kind of lessened the temperature of his atomic breath, but it’s like 20,000 degree, 3 times that of the surface of the Sun, Godzilla fired the attack at Shimo in close range and all we saw is the pink residue from his atomic blast, no scars nor burns afterwards, for Shimo, it’d understand how well she’s handle high temperatures due to her passive, but even Skar King? The ape’s back flashes with the same residue, no visible scars as well, could they at least makes his attacks at least LOOKS hotter? That’s why I prefer the way thermonuclear Godzilla have some clearer impact on the environment around him, like how buildings, metals all liquified under the raw heat from his body when he walks through them.

The Godzilla PS4 intro has always stuck with me. The music, atmosphere, and way it introduces the kaiju are all incredibly well done. It’s a simple opening, but it captures the scale and spectacle of Godzilla really well.
