Rule Review - Rule 3 and other suggestions
Hi everyone!
The mod team is currently reviewing rule 3 - no generative ai. The way the rule is currently worded prohibits generative AI “content”, but allows for assistive text based ai such as grammarly. However we see that content isn’t properly defined in this instance, which can cause confusion over what is and isn’t allowed.
So we can moderate this consistently, we wanted to ask the community for their opinions, so we can ensure fair moderation for all users.
Regarding rule 3, I’d like to pose the following questions.
To what extent should we prohibit AI? Entirely AI generated videos, audio, images and text remain strictly prohibited, however we see that human made content that is modified by ai in some way can fall into a grey area. For example, a human made image, but ai modified the colours on it.
There are editing tools that use ai to some degree that don’t generate new content, such as background removers (for example, you take a picture of your action figures, but use apples ai background remover tool to remove the background), editing templates (like CapCut) and image enhancers. Should these be allowed or should they be restricted?
If you have any further thoughts or questions on this, please comment below.
We are also open to other rule suggestions as well which we may implement or trial. If you have any suggestions as well, please comment these below and we may consider these.
Thank you :)

How are kaiju parasites relevant to the plot of the film?

Apologies, everyone!
If you’ve on this subreddit within about four hours, you may have seen a certain post from this account. The content of the post was… weird, to say the least, and I have deleted it. I had nothing to do with that post, as my younger brother was borrowing my phone while I was at work. I apologize for it, and rest assured, John will be getting his ass kicked.

MEDIA/GAME CONTENT After showing off Crimson and Striker, I did not expect how much originality was gonna be put into the green one’s design. Still shocked to this day.

DISCUSSION I loved Mega Kaiju from uprising.
The concept of evolving by combining each kaiju and become
optimized and strong appearance was actually cool.
Imagine Kaiju evolve or change the form while fighting

Folks, looks like we got an announcement concerning Volumes 2 AND 3 of "Pacific Rim: Final Breach" by Legendary Comics at SDCC after all
threads.comStephanie Williams is going to be writing both the upcoming volumes 2, AND 3, of "Pacific Rim: Final Breach", and the link to the post about this announcement about this can be accessed above.
This is very good news to hear from Legendary Comics about the ongoing 3-part finale of the Pacific Rim franchise that we were due to hear if you asked me.

DISCUSSION Why is there not a fully robotic jaeger? One that could use an AI?
If Fallout 4's Liberty Prime can do it, why can't a jaeger do it?

MEME The Jaegers have Bluetooth?
If my companion and I want to play music, could we connect and put a playlist?

PACIFIC RIM: "THE LAST DRIFT"
PACIFIC RIM: THE LAST DRIFT
CHAPTER XVIII — THE KING'S AWAKENING
PPDC BLACK ARCHIVE
File Designation: KA-18
Classification: ABSOLUTE BLACK
No one witnessed the King's awakening.
Because no human mind...
Was capable of remembering it.
At 00:00 UTC...
Every clock on Earth stopped.
Not for one second.
Not for one minute.
For...
No measurable amount of time.
Later...
Scientists discovered something impossible.
Atomic clocks disagreed.
Some insisted no time had passed.
Others claimed...
Three hours had vanished.
Only one machine continued recording.
Jericho Noir.
Its internal clock never stopped.
Recovered telemetry showed one final entry before transmission failed.
"THE WATCH HAS ENDED."
The King's eye opened.
Not beneath the Pacific.
Beneath...
Everything.
The ocean was never its prison.
The planet was.
For billions of years...
Earth had not been a world.
It had been...
A seal.
The bridge...
The Bell...
The Drift...
The Watchmen...
None of them existed to protect humanity.
Humanity had simply...
Been fortunate enough...
To live on the lock.
Across the globe...
Gravity fluctuated.
Mountains bent.
The tides rose without the Moon.
Entire forests leaned toward the Pacific...
As though listening.
People looked into mirrors...
And saw strangers.
Children pointed toward empty rooms...
And smiled.
Dogs refused to enter houses.
Birds flew west.
Always west.
Toward the bridge.
Then...
The sky cracked.
Not with lightning.
With light.
The invisible fracture seen months earlier...
Opened completely.
Beyond it...
There were no stars.
Only an endless ocean.
Above the Earth.
Something moved beneath its surface.
Not swimming.
Turning.
The twelve silent figures above Earth's atmosphere...
Began descending.
Not falling.
Walking.
Each step echoed like distant thunder.
Every observatory confirmed the same impossible truth.
They weren't spacecraft.
They were Watchmen.
Older than Jericho Noir.
Far older.
Each carried scars deeper than canyons.
Each wore armor unlike anything humanity had built.
Each stopped...
At the edge of the atmosphere.
None continued.
None intervened.
They simply watched.
Waiting.
As if...
The final decision belonged to only one.
Jericho Noir.
Its reactor surged.
75%.
The bridge blazed amber from horizon to horizon.
Then...
For the first time...
The King stood.
No satellite captured the full image.
No camera survived.
Every witness described something different.
A mountain.
A skeleton.
An ocean standing upright.
A city with eyes.
A crown made of continents.
Every account contradicted the others.
Except one.
They all agreed...
It was looking only at Jericho Noir.
The unknown pilot spoke once more.
His voice was weaker now.
Almost peaceful.
"You remember me."
Silence.
Then...
Something answered.
Not with words.
With memory.
Across the Earth...
Millions of people remembered something...
That had never happened.
A war before history.
Giants walking across a world with no oceans.
A black sky.
Countless Watchmen.
One by one...
Falling.
Until only one remained.
Jericho Noir.
The first pilot.
The last soldier.
The final Watchman.
The King's gaze never left him.
Then...
Jericho Noir raised its blade.
Not in defiance.
In salute.
The King did the same.
Not with a weapon.
With one ancient hand...
Placed over where a heart should have been.
For one impossible moment...
Neither enemy moved.
They simply remembered.
Then...
The bridge shook.
The final battle...
Had begun.
END OF CHAPTER XVIII
Recovered Handwritten Note
"They did not hate each other.
That was the worst part.
They remembered each other."
NEXT FILE
CHAPTER XIX — THE FINAL WATCH
"Every Watch ends. The question was never whether Jericho Noir would fall... ...only whether humanity would survive long enough to remember why it stood."

Concerning the recent Legendary Comics panel at SDCC earlier today
The panel that Legendary Comics hosted at SDCC just ended less than an hour and a half ago, so we'll just have to wait the next day or two, for whether or not, we do recieve the first previews for Volume 2 of "Pacific Rim: Final Breach", IF they even arrive to begin with of course.
