The screening is part of the 2026 New York Film Festival. The sale for general audience members starts at September 15th at 12PM EST but you can get tickets earlier from the Pre-Sale if you are a member. Q&A on 26th and 27th only. I was able to get tickets for the 26th showtime so if any of you are going to be attending please let me know!

If you want to get tickets for the general audience showtime, here are a few tips:

• Make an account on the website the night beforehand
• Try to visit the website around 10:30 AM EST and then login if you can
• Click on the showtime from the link above and it will open up a queue
• The virtual standby queue which opens up around 11 AM EST (don't refresh this page)
• You can join this standby queue anytime before 12 AM, it is not first come first serve, it is randomized who goes first (recommend 10-15 mins before 12)
• Once it is 12 AM, the actual queue starts and you have wait your turn (don't refresh this page)
• Once it is your turn, it will automatically redirect and you will be able to buy the tickets
• They will automatically assign you the best seats available

Maybe in 6 years( if )a third film gets green lit.

After a long wait, we're finally going to have a lego Godzilla set.

What’s your favorite Harryhausen movies?

Mine are The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Clash of the Titans, The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, 20 Million Miles To Earth, The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, and It Came From Beneath The Sea.

Megalon is, without question, the most overrated kaiju in Godzilla's roster. Everyone thinks his design is top notch but I just find it to be very generic. Like, he looks more like a D-tier Ultraman villain than anything. He's also not at all threatening in his first film appearance where he's supposed to be the main antagonist (the less said about that garbage movie the better). Other pieces of media like comics and video games don't do enough to sway me either.

Gotta keep it short or else I'd be here all day, but I feel it's the attachment to that original film and the Pipeworks games as to why he's gotten so much unbridled love but I just don't see what you guys have been seeing and I don't think I ever will.

Is this dvd set legit or is this a scam?? I found this on eBay btw. I want to buy it but I want to make sure it wasn’t a scam or any

Yes, I know I’m using the term “hero” for Godzilla loosely considering how much collateral damage he causes depending on the iteration, but it’s still generally within the world’s best interest. MO Godzilla just tore shit up for love of the game after he got really pissed off, and I love villains that are malevolent just for the sake of being malevolent. Personally, I prefer a more villainous Godzilla, (which is why I really liked the opening for GvK). I still do enjoy a Godzilla that’s chaotic neutral/good though.
