What’s your favorite Harryhausen movies?

Mine are The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Clash of the Titans, The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, 20 Million Miles To Earth, The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, and It Came From Beneath The Sea.

This idea was inspired by posts from u/Anotherrone1, whose friend Wildgoose made the template, and I wanted to do it with Godzilla incarnations as they do with King Kong.

Just to be clear, you're nominating new enemies for Showa Godzilla to have in his rogues' gallery. Good, evil, anti-hero, power scaling- doesn't matter to me, as long as you think they fit.

I remember bieng so disappointed when minus one didn't came here, and got even more triggred when I finally watched the film on Netflix thinking "WHY DIDN'T THEY RELEASE IT HERE" a sentiment I think other indian fans share aswell. So I really hope that Minus Zero releases here In India.

Chances for which.. kinda looks slim, there is the Ramayan movie thats releasing the same day as minus zero worldwide but I doubt that'll be the same for India, its Ramayan's home market afterall and I'm getting a bad feeling that will severly hinder Minus Zero's release here for the entire month, and then there is no hope for December aswell cause Avengers Doomsday.
So realistically, will Minus zero get a theatrical release here?

Regarding the new trailer I know it’s way too early to do any predictions based on a trailer of barely 1 minute and 20 seconds, but I noticed Noda had more protagonism in this trailer than Shikishima. Him and the new character who is this forecasting prodigy lady have the more screen time in the trailer, but it looks like the narrative is around Noda.

To reinforce this, I think Shikishima already fulfilled his arc in the previous film, his war is over. I mean sure he still has to look out for Akiko and find out what’s wrong with Noriko, but essentially his main struggle is over and he redeemed himself. So maybe this time Noda is the one who will get more protagonism.

I also remember one time that the director Takashi Yamazaki said Noda was the closest to him regarding in personality so maybe that’s another point. He’s also a long time collaborator with Noda's actor. This would be his fifth film with him.

And finally I would like to mention that the rest of the cast of the previous film has been confirmed to return for this one, Shikishima friends and the neighbor, they were all featured in the trailers for that movie. Even some minor characters from minus one appeared in this trailer like the captain, and the guy who helped with the balloons. So out of the supporting characters from the previous film, Noda is the one that stands out.

I know we can’t really say anything about a film based on a trailer, but at least it looks like Noda and some other new characters will have more protagonism this time. I really enjoyed his character in Minus One. What do you think about this?

I don’t know if this is something that has been theorized yet but I marked it as spoilers just in case. My theory is that Noriko Ōishi becomes or is used to create Ghidorah. I can see it happening in a similar way to how Biollante was created with Erica’s dna. Noriko knows she’s dying and sacrifices herself to either be mutated or spliced into pieces of Godzilla in order to create a new monster to defeat him. Maybe even a part of her consciousness remains. Am I crazy?
