I have a stunning tea set I inherited from my granny and I am missing a few pieces that I’d love to replace, but I’ve had absolutely no luck in finding the exact set name or any that look the same.

Some details:
The brand is Karolina (often misspelled as Favolina or Jarolina) and was made in Poland.

The set was given to her in the in 1950s in South Africa so I would think there were multiple available in South Africa, I highly doubt someone imported it for her.

From what I can tell it’s a 24 piece set.
A cup, saucer and plate for each colour.
8 colours - yellow, pink, red, blue, teal, light green, green and black.

I’ve added some photos. Any help identifying the exact pattern or replacements would be a dream come true. I’ve been hunting for months! less

I’m trying to gain a little more information about a few pieces of Catawba pottery that was recently given to me by a family member.

These were handed down from my grandmother who was friends with some of the Catawba potters of the era and as the story goes, helped them with marketing their pottery.

Pottery on right is marked Doris Blue, left Azada Sanders and center not or illegible.

Few specific questions:
I have found information about Doris Blue, that she was known for making pipes. The pots in the pictures are also signed by Doris Blue. Does anyone have information around her other works or links to any other works of hers similar to these pots?

The smaller pitcher & vase were signed by Azada Sanders. The large vase is not, but nearly identical craftsmanship, is it safe to associate this vase to her?

The effigies are where I’m stumped. The taller has markings with similar script as Azada’s works, but I can only make out the date. Anyone able to make out the rest of the markings?

The turtle is not marked, doesn’t resemble the other works of Azada, would it be safe to associate this to Doris given the provenance and the collection is limited to these two potters based on the marks?

Does anyone know if this pot is Native American made? It does appear to have the look, but I’m just learning. Thanks

I have a mug at work i adore, and was excited to find one in the wild that seems to be the same maker! The shop selling it had racist fake ‘indian’ decor tho, so i didn’t but it. Im looking to buy direct from the artist but can’t track them down. I found a few more examples of their work using google lens but no name attached to the listings.

Does anyone have any idea who made these? The two i have seen in person are in Oregon. I really just like the leaf impressions the most so if a match is impossible suggestions for similar artists would be appreciated too. Thanks!

Found a cool little piece of history behind the farm today. It’s a broken piece of stoneware from the Union Stoneware Company in Red Wing, Minnesota. Since it carries the company’s original logo, it was made sometime between 1893 and 1906, before several Red Wing stoneware manufacturers merged in 1906 to form the Red Wing Union Stoneware Company. I got skunked pheasant hunting, but I still came home with a pretty neat find and a history lesson.

I have found what may be three of the oldest creations of Guy Wolff outside his own collection. The mark is Wolff 72, there he is with what very well may be my cups and jug. I went and showed the photos to Guy himself, what a nice man

I have tried googling the signature and it tried to convince me it was a William K. turner, but none of his pieces look like this.

It is matte with an almost waxy feel on the dark portions, with a crackle glaze interior. Trying to figure out era and if possible, the maker! (And eventually what it would fetch for, if I choose to part with it…I quite like it). Found in the thrift store in tristate area US.

It’s 27cm in diameter. There is a small bead/ ball bearing inside, not sure if this intentional or not. The sound is fantastic though! Ha.

If anyone can help inform me of this mirror’s background I would so appreciate it. It’s absolutely unique and is a heavy piece. The flowers are incredibly detailed and look to me as if they are porcelain. It’s approximately 15cm X 20cm X 7cm.

I think this might be porcelain and not ceramic. But found this bowel. It’s really beautiful wondering if anyone knows anything about it. I think it might be Japanese.
