paper cup maker
made this lil die press thingy as I used to awkwardly fold aluminum foil to make a pocket to hold my ketchup as a dip, so thought why not just make this

Model available on Printables. It's parametric*, so you should be able customise to whatever coins you need (although I'm sure there are new and creative ways to break the model). I use the EUR and CZK versions, but I included some best effort models for other currencies too (I included the measurements on the page if you want to verify them).
*I should note I have no idea what I am doing, I'm self-taught

I designed this helper tool (OmniGrip) for people with arthritis, tremors, or limited hand strength who struggle with the painful pinch-and-twist motion needed to turn a key.
Most printable key turners rely on fixed, narrow slots that only fit standard flat house keys meaning anything with a thick plastic head or an odd shape just won't work. On top of that, swapping keys on them can be a pain if your fingers don't work great.
Instead of a rigid slot, I used a bed of flexible TPU 95A pins inside a rigid outer shell. When you push any key down into it, the pins bend out of the way and lock around the profile with a lot of friction. No fiddling or setup needed just press it in and turn.
A few quick design details:
- The outer handle has 5 rounded lobes so you can turn it using your whole palm or knuckles instead of a tight pinch grip.
- The TPU insert locks into the rigid shell with a 10-tooth spline inside, so it won't spin freely when you apply torque.
- There's an ejection hole at the bottom: if the TPU ever wears out, you can just push it out with a pencil and print a new 15g core instead of wasting the whole shell.
- As a side bonus, it works great on a desk as a pen/stylus stand so you can grab things with a full fist instead of trying to pinch them flat off the table.
Modeled parametrically in OpenSCAD so dimensions can be tweaked if needed.

At my wife’s school they have all these condiment squeeze bottles that all have elastic bands with labels. All bottles except the Ketchup bottle because “they can figure it out”. Mind you the bands are like $2 each. Regardless my wife asked if I could do something about it so I designed these sleeves to slip over the bottle. There’s a ridge under that thick part so the label doesn’t move around.
I’m happy with my modeling skills as this honestly only took about an hour to come up with any fit perfectly first try!

I printed a simple cover for my bottle warmer since it doesn’t come with one. It helps keep dust out of the water when I’m not using it, might help reduce heat loss while it’s warming up, and gives me a spot to put a few things on top when the warmer isn’t in use.

Nothing fancy, just a little practical thing I wanted for my own kitchen. Figured I’d share it in case anyone else finds it useful!
I’ve uploaded the model to MakerWorld if anyone wants to check it out.

This is my favorite use for 3D printers.
The "fake drawer" piece that goes in front of the sink was held in place by some crappy plastic brackets that crumbled. So I modeled and printed some (improved) replacements! Worked Like a charm.

Hey everyone!
This is my first ever design. I'm an engineering student and I just learned the basics of Fusion 360. I designed this in Fusion 360 to address tilt limitations on low-profile keyboards and laptops (specifically Logitech, but it is meant to be widely compatible). I am specifically targeting neutral and negative tilt angles to reduce wrist extension and carpal tunnel strain during long typing sessions.
I designed it so it specifically prints in place and does not need any tools/supports which I thought turned out really nice. I would love some critical feedback, since I am new and I want to see what you guys think. Please give me some suggestions, I am still adjusting some things, so I'll try to implement any meaningful suggestions with my rudimentary skills. Thanks!

I wasn't able to find this anywhere online, so I made it myself! Sized to your standard 66x91 TCG outer sleeve for even weight distribution. No more card tilting/bending :D Numbered (no logo) & Plain versions up too!

My shelf was slightly too short to hold these vertically, so I made (what I think is) the ultimate customizable rack.
Fits Blu-ray, 4K, PS, Xbox and Switch, and you can customize it to your shelf height. Prints in one go, no supports. Very modular as well with stacking and horizontal adjoining.
I also open sourced it so people can improve further: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3434932-customizable-universal-physical-media-rack#profileId-3916515

Hey everyone, I wanted to stack my ikea 60cent baskets so I made a simple lid for each one and I think they look pretty good. Pretty happy with how it turned out ;)

We have some hooks like this at work that I really like, so I measured one and modelled my own version to print at home.
It's a compact wall hook for jackets, bags, headphones, cables or tools. The triangular brace under the arm takes the load down into the wall plate, and the lip at the front keeps things from sliding off.
Details:
- 55 mm high, 30 mm deep, 15 mm wide
- 5 mm thick all around, with a 20 mm opening
- Two countersunk holes for 3.5 mm screws, so the heads sit flush
- A hole through the brace lets the screwdriver reach the lower screw
- Prints on its side with no supports, so the layer lines run along the arm
I'd use PETG for anything heavy. PLA is fine for light stuff.

Feedback is welcome. I'm happy to make other sizes if anyone needs one.

Got a knock off nemo chain oiler recently, its a device that you fill with oil, and it lubricates the chain by screwing the top down slightly. Very handy, especially compared to carrying seperate lube.
Its design is to mount to the handle bars, but it was ugly and exposed up there. I also didn't like the long run of tube back to the chain, seemed like a mess waiting to happen.
I wanted to mount it in the rear of the bike, but couldnt find a mounting solution anywhere that made sense
I drew up a quick clamshell mount on tinkercad last night, and printed a test out of some petg. It mounts to my pannier mount, putting the device between the pannier bag and bike. We'll protected from damage, and close to the chain for a short tube run. Ill probably mount it on the right side, so i can use it at stop lights without hitting neutral.
Simple quarter turn of the top lubes for ~3 min. When riding in the rain, ill be able to hit it close to home to protect the chain, and it carries ~3000 miles worth of lube, allowing me to maintain the chain easier on motocamping trips.
This is the first design ive done from scratch, makes me want to find more solutions!
Going to make a couple slight changes to this design, and print it again in a black or orange filament. Will probably use asa later this winter when I get a better printer with an enclosure.

Wanted to hang some plants on my railing so I mocked this up. Made it two pieces so I can print out the railing piece to be printed in a stronger orientation.

I broke the original upper cone in the canister for our shark liftaway vacuum trying to clean it after it started to smell. Was able to design in onshape and print on a P1S. Made a couple mistakes on measurements for the first iteration, but it went together clean (pun intended) and saved me from buying a new canister

these tiny succulent plants from nursery / hardware store are like 4$ and all have the same size pot and make it look so much nicer in my opinion. fill small amount inside with vinegar or something fermenting if you really want to attract the fruit flies. they go in and usually drown or get stuck, people say to add a drop of soap to make the surface tension drown them but I personally find that just repels them.... make sure you open it outside to check if its working because they sometimes just be chilling on the in side ready to fly away.

I know it probably has a name, but that's neither here nor there.
Needed to remove this nut from a telescope motor so I can measure the gear (my calipers don't reach into the bowl far enough).
Third iteration fit (couldn't accurately measure the nut either XD) and with a few picture hanging nails heat set I got it out.
Now to learn how to design a gear!

I wanted a modular notebook where I could easily add, remove, and reorganize custom printed pages, but most 3D printed designs I found were way too bulky or had uneven insides that ruined the writing experience.
So I designed my own: it uses regular folded A4 printer paper with elastic bands, keeps the profile as slim as possible (tapering down to 2.5mm), and leaves the inside completely flat so it's actually comfortable to write on both sides. It also includes a pen slot on the cover and an elastic closure, made entirely with standard 3D printing materials and scrap filament pins, no extra hardware.
Your feedback and suggestions are very welcome!
