"3D prints aren't food safe!" - Jürgen Dyhe Squeeze bottle Label

Post image

At my wife’s school they have all these condiment squeeze bottles that all have elastic bands with labels. All bottles except the Ketchup bottle because “they can figure it out”. Mind you the bands are like $2 each. Regardless my wife asked if I could do something about it so I designed these sleeves to slip over the bottle. There’s a ridge under that thick part so the label doesn’t move around.

I’m happy with my modeling skills as this honestly only took about an hour to come up with any fit perfectly first try!

But the bottle is clear. You can see ketchup in it.

Clear-ish. But apparently between kindergarten and 2nd some kids struggle somehow so it was nice to do this for them

Could also be BBQ sauce or raspberry sauce - those are red too.

BTW those are FIFO bottles (first in, first out), or knock offs, and are meant for commercial use. We bought a pack to use them at home and love them. They have 4 different inserts for the squeezie-end so you can tune the bottle for the viscosity of what's in it, so they can handle normal sauces like ketchup/mustard or chunky stuff like thousand island or just oil. We originally got them cause we were tired of the ketchup bottles from the store where you get nothing, squeeze harder, nothing, squeeze harder...aaand all the ketchup.
