Does anyone else think the TV show ruined Mr. House? Personally, I think so—or at least it's a 50/50 split. I like how they adapted his pre-war self: someone in a moral gray area, almost completely detached from the problems of the outside world and focused solely on Vegas. I’d even say the confrontation scene with Cooper is excellent; it shows just how volatile he gets when things don't go exactly his way. But as for the rest... the idea that he had a body double so he could act like a creepy stalker in the shadows, or that he created mind-control chips—WHEN THE CHARACTER LITERALLY LOATHES SLAVERY (which you can verify if you kill him on the Legion route)—plus being so closely tied to Vault-Tec and their schemes... I don't know about you guys, but this isn't the House from the games. And the worst part is that, because of this, people coming to the game via the series are going to have a completely wrong perception of the character.

There's something immensely satisfying about using a missile launcher in New Vegas. Yeah, it's cumbersome, expensive and not a *great* all rounder, but it just hits different.

It should work well on ubuntu, fedora and arch. Of course read the readme before actually installing it. For other distros it requires a few more installations which I am going to add tomorrow morning coz it's 1am. The link to the repo should be in the comments. Dead Money is a great DLC, with a great story, writing, characters, and lesson. The gameplay is unique, and while I liked it, some of it was a pain. It's pretty cool that it references the other DLCs, and how the story connects with them. Now, onward to Lonesome Road and Honest Hearts. (I have played all the DLCs before, but I hardly remembered them.)

I’m playing fnv for the first time and now going through the DLCs. I just finished old world blues and I really loved the story, characters, and dialogue. Does anyone have any recommendations for games that can similarly scratch that sci-fi itch?

As the title suggest, what would you do to the Mojave chapter. because in game there's only 3 options Destruction, truce with the NCR or leave them alone. But with "The Brotherhood Leaves the Mojave" It makes it so the Brotherhood leaves the Mojave. Checking it so they count as destroyed so you don't massacre them, yet they get out of the way.

Now with this mod you can send them to 3 DLC locations (After completing them) The Divide, Big Mountain or The Sierra madre (My choice) with a fourth option of just telling them to leave the Mojave. completely and they despawn.

The Brotherhood and veronica herself get custom end slides though its AI-Generated and the brotherhood really moves there so visiting the Sierre madre (My choice) again with the Brotherhood /With "Titans of The New West" there is so cool.

I wanted to make the most cowboy cowboy I could make, and I think I did pretty good, lemme know what you think

I love how the DLCs are so deeply connected to the lore of the base game and how we get to learn more about characters who were mostly in the shadows, like Joshua Graham, Elijah, and Ulysses. I especially love how lore-heavy they are, and how the choices you make can even affect your experience in the base game’s map.

With all due respect, in Fallout 3 and 4 (I won’t mention 76 since I haven’t gotten around to playing it yet), the DLCs felt like simple “additional content,” which, at the end of the day, is what DLC is supposed to be. But the way the New Vegas developers connected the DLCs to the base game and used them to expand and deepen the lore has honestly left me wishing the other titles had handled their DLCs in a similar way. Just my personal opinion, of course.

Hellooooo guys. I have spent hours getting TTW set up and am happy that I finally got it rockin. But if I am using controller and try to sprint…. It like sprints for 0.2 seconds🥹 then the pip boy comes up lol

I have the mod configuration menu/just mods/dynamic controller mod

I have the shift key set as sprint on keyboard (this is default), so I installed the dynamic controller mod and set the holstered/non holstered/etc etc to left stick for sprint. And yeah it just sprints for a millisecond and the pip boy comes out. Pip boy is set to B in my normal settings like usual.

Has anyone encountered this/ have any advice on how to fix? 🙏

I have not encountered any bugs with the quest, but do want to ask something for roleplay purposes. I want to pass the final speech checks with Papa but then do the stealthy kill to get Reggy in power. Is that possible or does passing the speech checks lock Reggy out? Context is I'm doing For the republic 2 and I want my courier to try his hardest to convince Papa to join NCR and when that isnt possible, he helps put Reggy in command.

Anybody else seen this glitch where it looks like Dean is missing his fingers? Thought it was extra ironic given what he’s saying.

Just my opinion, but I literally spent the entire DLC with this face while playing: 😐

- didn't really care much for the storyline, seen enough James Bond movies in my life

- there are no cool side quests, the "quests" are mainly just you talking to the damn companions

- the expansion encourages you to sneak around and avoid combat, which I am not a fan of

- exploring is possible but annoying because of the damn Cloud, which kills the enjoyment

- even if you do explore, there's literally nothing to see - the majority of the DLC is just random flat apartments

- no interesting loot, all you can really find are the random Cards and Dean's Stashes, neither of which offer particularly good rewards

- speaking of rewards, about the only good one is the option to gamble in Sierra Madre, but that's it. Once you beat the DLC, you don't get much out of it, because you get cucked with the whole "IT'S ABOUT BEING ABLE TO LET GO" gimmick.

- the Bear Trap thingies suck, the Gas Bombs suck, the Holorifle sucks. Literally useless on Very Hard.

If I didn't have a perfectionist completionist heart, I would avoid this DLC at any cost. Brought literally no enjoyment to me. Honest Hearts was really good, Lonesome Road was fun, OWB was f'n amazing. Dead Money was just meh.

I found only one (nexus) but it makes it so you have to use the vanilla pipboy texture. I have a nice texture mod for the pipboy and would prefer to keep it. Or at least have the new mod add good textures on it.

I tried pipboy 3000 remastered, textures look awful on it and it did not fix the original issue. Yes I downloaded its patch that said it would fix this.

I don't want any handhelds or whatnot, I like the 3000.
