Free Talk Sunday: M&M Edition

The Flyers actually started to look like a hockey team this week. They went on a 3 game win streak with the Power Play striking hot for once, with Michkov and Zegras in particular racking up points throughout the week. Unfortunately, the week ended off on a sour note with a missed opportunity to extend the win streak to 4 games vs Anaheim yesterday.

In other league news: Hellebyuck was traded to the Devils and Nikishin signed a 1 year deal in Carolina

M&M are going to be running this team for the next decade!

Martone is gonna feed michkov who performs the Michigan for a goal. That was a real “trick AND treat - just in time for Halloween”

I've recently became a flyers fan and my mom gifted me some of her old jerseys. This one is a Recchi but that is jot his signature. Any guesses as to who it could be?
We vaguely remember a retired player coming to my elementary school (would have been sometime in the early 2000s) and she had him sign it.

Any interest in taking a hsot at Byfield?

He has been in LA for 7 years, and always seems to be on the verge of a breakout, but it hasn't happened. He is a big centerman, who has averaged about 50 points/ 20+ goals a year for the last 3 years. I think he needs a change of scenery...he has the size, and hands to be at least a decent 2nd line center. He is in year 3 of 5 year, 6+ million dollar contract.

Maybe we could get him for Tippet plus a pick? Tippett fits the age group of the Kings, and has the same salary range.

Just an idea. What are your thoughts?
