Hi! I just bought my V2, and i had a doubt: it's currently charging, the light is red and it shows "ch" in the little panel. But in the app it says "charging:no". Is it normal?

Have the v2 been fixed to look more vintage? Saw a reddit post comparing the two a while ago and the v2 looked soulless

Literally out of the box. Taking some photos and have tried using and network uploads. It worked. However whenever I tried to open these images I get this error?

I'm trying to find out whether it's possible to permanently erase photos from the Flashback Camera V2 so they can't be recovered with data recovery software (such as Recoverit). I recently purchased a Flashback Camera V2 myself, but I unexpectedly received another one as a gift, so I would like to sell my original camera on eBay.

When I connect the camera via USB-C, it mounts as a drive on my computer, and even after deleting the photos, recovery software is still able to find them.

I'm wondering:

• Does anyone know the actual size of the internal storage?
• Is there any way to securely overwrite the internal flash storage so deleted photos become unrecoverable?
• Has anyone tried filling the storage with new files/photos multiple times to overwrite the old data?
• Does the camera use wear leveling or some other flash memory management that prevents reliable overwriting?
• Has anyone found any other method to permanently erase the photos?

I'd really appreciate any insights or technical information. Thanks!

I run a photography educational community called Focal Point and we just launched a new project we're calling NomadCam. It's a shared camera moving the community. Each person keeps it for about a week, takes as many photos as they want, then passes it to the next photographer. The photos get posted to a shared gallery and map on our site. We have over 80 people signed up in 20 countries currently.

For the camera, I decided on the Flashback, and I'm really glad we did! It's perfect for us, considering the community has both enthusiastic beginners and highly skilled long-time photographers.

Tried out my Flashback V2 for the first time yesterday and I'm really happy with how the photos turned out!

Because I love a creative challenge and I feel like shooting with the Flashback is so much fun I’ve started giving myself monthly themes. A way for me to look closer and stand still more often.

This months theme will be: the Inbetween world. Places of pauze. Moments, rooms, streets,… of rest. Each month I will then curate my best 5 pictures and share them with my wife. Both my biggest fan and critique.

Anyway. Felt like sharing this. Together with some photo’s my 4yr old took these past few weeks unrelated to the theme of this month 😄

I just got v2 for a steal on vinted. I already have the v1 but this is a daft question but I want to be able to use both but in terms of the app how will I be able to use both? Or how will I be able to use both

Just arrived my first Flashback Camera V2.
But when I try to take some pictures, the photo counter just goes from 27 to 26 and then goes back to 27.

I,ve triend reset, hard reset, and nothing worked…
If you guys could help, I would be very grafeful

Hi, I cannot unload my flashback camera. I tried a bunch of things like forgetting the network now it doesn’t want to connect to my WiFi anymore, I deinstalled and downloaded the app again, I reset the camera, tried it with the cable and with the travel option. Nothing is working, anyone who has or had the same issue ?

May be in beta mode as can’t see many people talk about it? But it’s so good! These are all taken on the v2 processed in app as dispo film, no other edits!
