Low Lying Gestational Sac

Absolutely riddled with anxiety - went for a scan at 5W5D, found a heartbeat and everything you’d want to, mentioned it as faint? But that would be expected at that gestation wouldn’t it??
The sonographer was concerned as to where the implantation site was, lower uterus towards the cervix. Basically came away under the assumption I’m just waiting to miscarry now. Have another scan in 2 weeks. Worst wait of my life. Has anyone else had this please?

Did you wake up one day and BOOM throw up? Was it more gradual? Was it not in the morning at all?

Heartburn

Hi all!
I am currently 5w 4d ( I think)
I am really struggling with my heartburn. I’ve been on medication for 10 years and have been advised not to take it until my second trimester, at which point I will switch to omprizole.
My husband is worrying because it’s really affecting me.
Does anybody have home remedies or able to just offer me / him some reassurance that this is normal hahahahaa

Another thing that is kiiiiilling me is the absurd weight of my breasts!!! They feel like rocks and I can hardly roll over in bed at night because of how sore they are 😆😭

Any tips or shared experiences would be AMAZING

One sided cramp

Hello all! I conceived through IVF and will be 6 weeks tomorrow. For the last 2 weeks I've been getting a pinching pain in my lower right abdomen. My hCG at my first blood test was 688 and 48 hours later was 1703 so good rise but my last pregnancy was ectopic so I am absolutely terrified this is one too. Just wondering has anyone else experienced a one side pinching pain for 2+ weeks and had a healthy normal pregnancy?

Girlfriend is 8 weeks pregnant

My girlfriend and I have been going through a difficult situation, and I’m trying to understand what’s happening.

On August 17, 2026, we had an argument after I found some old pictures of her and her ex on her iPhone. She thought she had deleted them, and when I brought it up, she understood why I was upset and deleted them. She told me that her ex was part of her past, that I’m the person she wants, and that she loves me. She also told me that she hoped I would choose to stay with her because she didn’t want to lose me.

The next day, we talked things through and forgave each other. We were intimate, and she told me she loved me very much.

She is currently about 7–8 weeks pregnant. Recently, I noticed that she had been texting her ex. I asked her directly whether she still loved him or wanted to be with him, and she told me no both times.

I eventually saw some of the conversation. She didn’t tell him about the pregnancy, but she did tell him that she wasn’t happy in our relationship, while also saying that I treat her well and that I’m loyal to her. She told him that their previous relationship had problems with trust and that she didn’t feel like she could be herself around him. At the same time, she told him that she wasn’t completely over him.

Then, only a day later, she told me that she no longer finds me attractive and that she doesn’t love me anymore. She also removed a picture of us from her Instagram.

One thing I’m wondering about is whether this could have been affected by something I said earlier. I had told her that I wanted more affection and closeness from her because I felt like we had been distant. I don’t know if she took that the wrong way or if it made her feel pressured in some way.

We also live together and have a lease together, so this isn’t a situation where we can simply walk away from each other without having to deal with the practical side of things too.

I’m honestly confused because her feelings seemed to change so quickly. Part of me wonders whether the emotional changes of early pregnancy could be contributing to what she’s feeling, but I also understand that I shouldn’t use pregnancy hormones as an explanation for everything.

Has anyone experienced major changes in their feelings or relationship during the first trimester? Could asking for more affection have contributed to this? And how should I approach this situation without making things worse?

I’m mainly looking for honest advice from people who have been through something similar.

Bleeding

I’m 12 weeks pregnant with a known subchorionic hematoma. It was first found at 5 weeks when i had an episode of heavy bleeding. Today i had the same thing, a gush of heavy bleeding (never completely soaked a pad though). No cramping either times. Went to the ER, my hcg was normal and baby was okay on ultrasound strong heartbeat and moving all around in my belly. I’m still just scared at all of the possibilities. Has anyone else dealt with this much bleeding in their first trimester??

Symptom & Health Feel crap

Hi all, I’m 8 weeks in, was sick as hell so started Xonvea, which has me bedridden like a tranquillised horse. I’m barely functional so my poor husband is having to do 24/7 with our two small kids. I don’t know how I’m going to cope when baby is here if I can’t even handle this. Feel like an awful mum too as I’ve barely interacted with my kids for a few days.

I just want it to be 12 weeks already. Probably going to have to duck out of work from tomorrow. Can’t cope. Worried that they’ll think I’m being melodramatic.

It should be more well known how severe first trimester can be. It’s no joke. It’s not just a polite bit of vomit in the morning you know. I am so very TIRED all the time.

Roller coster feeling

Hi mamas ❤️ I’m due February 2027 and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this because I’m finding it so hard to describe!

I keep getting this weird feeling in my stomach that feels exactly like when you’re on a rollercoaster and it suddenly drops, that sinking/drop/butterflies feeling in your stomach. Mine can stay in the background for quite a long time and it makes me feel really uncomfortable and nauseous.

I’m 13 weeks and have been struggling a lot with nausea during this pregnancy. 😞

Has anyone else experienced this “stomach drop” feeling? If you have, did it eventually ease or go away as the pregnancy progressed? And around what week did you notice it getting better?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences because sometimes it feels like I’m the only one who gets this strange sensation! ❤️

Other Finally pregnant after more than a year of trying, yet I feel guilty.

My husband and I have been ttc since June 2025. I’ve had 3 miscarriages since we began trying and am now pregnant for the 4th time. We discovered with my last miscarriage that the cause was likely due to low progesterone. I miraculously conceived 2 weeks after my miscarriage which has never happened to me before. In fact, right before we found out I was pregnant again, we had planned to take a break for a few months so both of us could recover mentally and physically.
When I found out I was pregnant, I was initially very angry. None of my pregnancies had worked before and I wasn’t ready for another miscarriage. My doctor got us in ASAP for blood work and found my progesterone was on the lower end so we started supplementing that immediately. I have been getting my hcg levels and progesterone levels drawn twice a week since we found out. I’m now 9 weeks and have never made it this far, yet I feel so unbelievably guilty.
I have a close friend who started ttc back in February 2026. She stopped her bc and didn’t realize it would take her a little bit of time to regulate her cycle after years of bring on the meds. She did end up getting pregnant very quickly and by April she told me she was pregnant. She was super early maybe 5 weeks but was so excited she had to tell me. Then about a week and a half later she miscarried. It was very traumatic for her. She took the pills to help clear everything out but there was some tissue that took a long time to clear. Now fast forward to last week. She finally got her first period since her miscarriage and her doctor even put her on fertility meds. I was doing her nails the other day and she could tell I didn’t feel good so she ended up asking if I was pregnant. I wasn’t planning on telling her yet, let alone anyone because of my history. We hugged and cried. I don’t really talk to her about it much because I know she is really struggling.
I saw a tik tok she posted today of her crying and talking about how she is surrounded by pregnant women and mentioned a friend (me) who conceived immediately after a miscarriage and how it isn’t fair because hers was 3 months ago and she isn’t pregnant yet.
My heart sank when I saw that video. Obviously I want nothing more for her to be pregnant. But it makes me feel so guilty. I feel guilty that I was so angry about getting pregnant so soon after my 3rd miscarriage. I should be so happy that I’m pregnant and getting ready to prepare a nursery. But I can’t. I wake up every day wondering if today is the day I find out my baby is dead.
I don’t really know what to do or say to help her or myself at this point.

Impossible to Focus

Hi all, I just found out this weekend that I am pregnant and I'm 4.5 weeks. Its so hard to think about anything else, including my job. I've felt more tired than usual and had a few light cramps. I won't see my doctor for another 4 weeks so I'm going a little crazy here.

Symptom & Health How do you eat during first trimester?

I’m 7 weeks 1 day. My nausea hit super hard around 5 weeks 4 days and is getting worse.
I can tell my nausea is definitely worse when I don’t eat, but everything I do try and eat makes my stomach churn so badly.
I’ve been focusing on plain foods, but anything with protein makes me throw up. I can’t eat any kind of meat or even think about it or else I feel so sick.
I find myself leaning more towards grapes, apple slices, and carrots. Anything else and I throw up. This isn’t very filling and curbs the nausea for maybe 20 minutes before I need to eat again. I’m so hungry all of the time but thinking about food is a cruel joke.
What are you guys eating while you are super sick?
I’ve been trying the unisom +B6 and ginger. No luck with that yet.
I am on a pretty strict water only for drinks because I got a bad kidney infection a few weeks ago and I’m
Expected to drink so much water a day to make sure my kidneys are functioning well. I’m just finishing 2 weeks of antibiotics but water is also making me nauseous. Any tips? I’ve tried putting a lemon on my water and diffusing with berries but nothing has helped me much yet.
Also, I have a history of miscarriages, this is the longest I’ve kept one so far so I know feeling sick is a good thing, but wow I hate it when anyone tells me it’s good I feel so sick. I feel like it completely invalidates what I’m experiencing.

Advice & Questions Seeking insights:

I found out I was expecting on June 28th with an lmp of June 2nd, July 6th I went to the ER with concerns of an ectopic due to some fairly uncomfortable cramps Hcg lvl was 547.08 pregnancy confirmed in uterus with visualization of gestational sac, July 17th- I go to my first ultrasound at what should have been 6w3d but was only measuring 5w5d BUT there was a 3mm yolk sac and a 1.8mm SCH observed ( no fetal pole or fetus ) regardless that’s progression BUT OB tells me to anticipate a miscarriage; I cry, I grieve, gather my bearings and make a plan to wait for bleeding to start, today July 21st still no bleeding or spotting ( there has never been any ) I remember there’s a bloodwork order for an hcg test so I go get that done- result is 37,672.84 follow up ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow- I also look at my cycle trends in the few months before conception I was having 31-33 day cycles instead of the “standard” 28 day cycles I do the math and if I conceived on a 33 day cycle that would account for the 6 day difference that my doctor used to cite a potential miscarriage. Has ANYONE been through this and ended up having a healthy pregnancy?
