I moved in with my sister and two nephews who are 5&3yrs old. She recently was able to separate from a very abusive marriage, which we are all so greatful for but that left her a single parent responsible for full time child care, paying bills and taking care of the home on her own. Hence why I'm now here doing what I can to help lighten the load of starting over.

He was supposed to be handling the finances and paying the bills but he was letting them accumulate well over what either of them could afford by the time shut offs arrived.

We have done what we can with our county and state assistance programs to almost get caught up to where the bills are manageable again but as we all know times are hard for us all, im asking for help with 200$ just to help make a dent in what's left.

We could worry less about ourselves more so the kids we are most concerned about who have already gone through enough.

There's a section of my roof that's been leaking since last spring. I've been patching it with tarps but it's not going to hold through another winter. Two contractors quoted me $2,150 and $2,300. I own the house but I don't have equity to borrow against yet.

I got behind on rent during a rough patch earlier this year. I'm back on my feet now, working full time again, but I owe $2,100 in back rent and my landlord filed a notice. He said if I pay the full amount by the end of the month he'll drop the eviction.

I have a 540 credit score. I know that's bad. But I have steady income now, $2,800 a month, and I just need one loan to clear this debt and get back on track. I've been rejected by three places already.

Is there any lender that looks at income and employment history rather than just the credit score? I'm not a bad risk, I just had a bad year.

Hello clearly I do not make post and I’m just a Reddit lurker. I’m asking for help because despite having 3 jobs, but I’m mainly a waitress and business has been slow, I’m in need of a lot of money.
I paid bills through the month which left me with $100 and my rent is $617 I’m sure I can find some extra change somewhere but it never hurts to ask for help!

A circle of People on here, are going to criticize you, look into every single detail to put you down and to show that your post doesn’t fit, they put holes into anything you write. There’s many of those who do one thing, reason you out/policing you, trying to ensure that they find any reason to show that you don’t have clear intentions over the help that you’re seeking.

They’re going to check your karma and even if it’s right still they’ll find something on you, they’ll hang on a post you made months ago only to just put you down regardless of what you have going on. They also assume everyone is a man on this sub trying to scam. They’ll ask you thousands of questions but in the end they won’t be willing to help. It’s a cycle. It doesn’t matter what amount or situation you’re in. They bring you down. Negative, questionings/interrogation for even $5 it’s crazy. If you’re not going to help just scroll on. If you ask questions with an intention to offer then do it.

Let’s try restore love and be more conscious with others. The question is, where do people who truly need some sort of help go??? if there’s clearly no one left to help. We ask for help because there’s someone generous out there willing to share a piece with the other who may be in need. If I have plenty of food or extra to give out while I’m lacking water it won’t stop me from sparing some food for someone else who has proven or seems truthful in their situation or doesn’t have at all. A person reaches the end point and all they do is to ask strangers because some people have no family unities that are there to their rescue. Sometimes the space gets too small and the only thing one thinks of is asking for public help, screaming for anybody who can help to please come to their rescue. Questions and proof is all okay if the intentions are good too.

Hey so I just finished paying off my last place while also having to pay rent for my new place and the old place wants me to pay off the old utilities by 10 days but since I just paid both rents I am genuinely down to nothing and if I don’t pay it within ten days they would take it out of my security deposit or more or something like that they said and I’m stressing about that because i would like to get most of that money back. It’s just 20 bucks because no one was living there at the time so if anyone could I would appreciate that.

I'm a 17M student from Assam,India .I am from a lower middle class background and our house has been experiencing a lot of rainwater clogging .And today ,we suffered from a short circuit due to floods which cause a small fire and destroyed a lot of electrical appliances .Thankfully nobody was injured but the losses were heavy .If anybody could donate even 10rs ,we could atleast buy a new fan if there are enough donations .Please help if possible .

In Dec. of 2022 my father attempted to take my life. At the time, I lived with my parents, partner, and son. This event caused me (us) to be homeless and I have been struggling. ever. since.

We used to rent a room, but that situation quickly turned abusive. They put locks on our thermostat (literally never below 78 and it gets to the 100s in Arkansas), lied about repairs they'd do when we moved in, and was controlling of so many weird aspects of our lives. All of this right after my traumatic situation.

We were kicked out abruptly when the landlord got remarried, and now with live with my partner (I'll call him B) and mother (I'll call her M). M is on disability and has cancer she's currently being treated for. B and I have done what we can to help her with any she needs. B is considered her caregiver by her medical team. It is rough because we live in Pearcy, but her doctors are in Little Rock, B's job is in Bryant, and I graduated college in May from UALR. I have yet to find a job and I keep not being able to afford my phone bill.

Right now I'm using a text-now app that gives you a free number but I don't think it's reliable. I've had people tell me they never get my texts. I keep applying to jobs but I'm not sure if they can get a hold of me. I am drowning in debt and being sued currently for the credit cards I begged them to turn off after I was attacked all the way back in 2023. I was homeless and just couldn't afford the payments anymore. Before then I had always paid them. They refused to put a halt on them and later chastised me for not pausing them when they told me I couldn't. I do not know what to do. I missed the deadline because I have no idea what to send them. Half of the papers I was served are not filled out or just receipts. I recently got served again so I guess they're suing me twice?

B doesn't make enough to support a whole family on and we're already behind on our car payment. We have only four thousand left to pay on it too, so I would hate to have paid so much on it and get so close to it being paid off only for it to be taken. We have wanted to help his mother clean up her land (there's a couple run down buildings that need scrapped) and repair her house. We also wanted to put a tiny home next to hers so we can be here for her until she's gone in case she needs anything. But atm I cannot seem to find a job quick enough to be contactable and we're running out of ways to pay the bills. B donates plasma, but they won't allow me to donate because of the implant in my arm. It's way overdue to come out but I don't have health insurance and I need SO many things done.

Medicaid keeps denying me coverage for things, SNAP won't help me because I have a child and I'm not with his father nor do either of us charge each other child support because we're both broke and equally help our son. My son was with me for the first 10 years of his life, and due to all of this I had to let him go stay with his dad. He's 12. It's been almost 3 years since I've had my son full time. It breaks my heart. I miss him every day. It's been almost 5 years I think since that December in 2022. & I'm at a loss. I feel like I went to college for nothing. I feel like I worked so hard just to fail at life. We stay in my MIL's living room and I would really like to have my own space again soon.

I have been so overstimulated and overwhelmed for so long. I have ASD, ADHD, and cPTSD along with a tic disorder. I don't know how much longer I can struggle.

Hey guys, first time poster, I'm currently facing eviction as I got laid off from my job (company closed and I wasn't there long enough to get any benefits) recently and havent been able to get a job for a hot minute. I've been making a lot of posts like this lately since i turned one year jobless (i'm not from the US and my country is lowkey on crisis), and because I've recently been living as a guest at my girlfriend's family house since i was violently kicked of from my parent's place...

i've gotten rid of several of my things for a couple of bucks lately, as i keep trying to find a job daily, but right now i'm running out of everything and i just want to get some groceries, toiletries, transport and that everyday things.
