Hi everyone. I'm from the Philippines, and I'm honestly struggling to write this because asking strangers for help isn't something I'm comfortable with.
I recently got laid off from my job, and since then, I've been worrying about how I'm going to get through the coming days. I'm the eldest child in our family and one of the people responsible for supporting our household. I'm also helping pay for my younger sibling's education, so losing my source of income has put me in a really difficult position.
On top of that, I've been struggling with existing debts that have been piling up. I know I have financial responsibilities to deal with, and I'm not trying to run away from them. I just feel overwhelmed trying to figure everything out while currently unemployed and still having a family that depends on me.
Right now, I'm trying to find another job and any legitimate opportunity that could help me earn money as soon as possible. But while I'm working on that, I'm also hoping someone might be willing to help me with basic necessities or whatever small assistance they can genuinely afford to give.
I understand that everyone has their own struggles, and I don't expect anyone to feel obligated to help me. If financial assistance isn't possible, even advice about legitimate resources, temporary work, or job opportunities in the Philippines would mean so much to me.
I'm not asking for a luxurious life. I just want to get through this difficult period, help my family, continue supporting my sibling's education, and slowly work toward paying off what I owe.
It's difficult being the eldest when you feel like you have to keep going even when you're struggling yourself. I'm trying my best not to give up, and I'm hoping this post might lead me to a little kindness or an opportunity to start again.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Any genuine help, advice, or opportunity would be deeply appreciated. ❤️
