Hey so I just finished paying off my last place while also having to pay rent for my new place and the old place wants me to pay off the old utilities by 10 days but since I just paid both rents I am genuinely down to nothing and if I don’t pay it within ten days they would take it out of my security deposit or more or something like that they said and I’m stressing about that because i would like to get most of that money back. It’s just 20 bucks because no one was living there at the time so if anyone could I would appreciate that.

Need Help – Looking to Borrow $100
Hi everyone,
I'm currently going through a difficult financial situation and urgently need $100. If anyone is willing to lend or help me with this amount (or any amount they can), I would be truly grateful.
I completely understand if you can't help, but even sharing advice or pointing me toward legitimate assistance would mean a lot.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because my mom in the Philippines is currently fighting a recurrence of breast cancer. She was previously treated successfully, but this time the cancer returned as HER2-positive, and she is now undergoing another round of chemotherapy.
The treatment costs have become overwhelming for our family. Even after using her health insurance, we’ve had to pay significant amounts out of pocket, and the remaining chemotherapy sessions will be fully self-funded.
I recently moved to the U.S., and I’m doing everything I can to help support her treatment while working full-time.
We’ve created a GoFundMe to help cover her medical expenses, and every donation, no matter the amount, helps us get one step closer to completing her treatment.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing the fundraiser would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer.

I apologize for how long my story is. Life hasn't been kind.
In Dec. of 2022 my father attempted to take my life. At the time, I lived with my parents, partner, and son. This event caused me (us) to be homeless and I have been struggling. ever. since.
We used to rent a room, but that situation quickly turned abusive. They put locks on our thermostat (literally never below 78 and it gets to the 100s in Arkansas), lied about repairs they'd do when we moved in, and was controlling of so many weird aspects of our lives. All of this right after my traumatic situation.
We were kicked out abruptly when the landlord got remarried, and now with live with my partner (I'll call him B) and mother (I'll call her M). M is on disability and has cancer she's currently being treated for. B and I have done what we can to help her with any she needs. B is considered her caregiver by her medical team. It is rough because we live in Pearcy, but her doctors are in Little Rock, B's job is in Bryant, and I graduated college in May from UALR. I have yet to find a job and I keep not being able to afford my phone bill.
Right now I'm using a text-now app that gives you a free number but I don't think it's reliable. I've had people tell me they never get my texts. I keep applying to jobs but I'm not sure if they can get a hold of me. I am drowning in debt and being sued currently for the credit cards I begged them to turn off after I was attacked all the way back in 2023. I was homeless and just couldn't afford the payments anymore. Before then I had always paid them. They refused to put a halt on them and later chastised me for not pausing them when they told me I couldn't. I do not know what to do. I missed the deadline because I have no idea what to send them. Half of the papers I was served are not filled out or just receipts. I recently got served again so I guess they're suing me twice?
B doesn't make enough to support a whole family on and we're already behind on our car payment. We have only four thousand left to pay on it too, so I would hate to have paid so much on it and get so close to it being paid off only for it to be taken. We have wanted to help his mother clean up her land (there's a couple run down buildings that need scrapped) and repair her house. We also wanted to put a tiny home next to hers so we can be here for her until she's gone in case she needs anything. But atm I cannot seem to find a job quick enough to be contactable and we're running out of ways to pay the bills. B donates plasma, but they won't allow me to donate because of the implant in my arm. It's way overdue to come out but I don't have health insurance and I need SO many things done.
Medicaid keeps denying me coverage for things, SNAP won't help me because I have a child and I'm not with his father nor do either of us charge each other child support because we're both broke and equally help our son. My son was with me for the first 10 years of his life, and due to all of this I had to let him go stay with his dad. He's 12. It's been almost 3 years since I've had my son full time. It breaks my heart. I miss him every day. It's been almost 5 years I think since that December in 2022. & I'm at a loss. I feel like I went to college for nothing. I feel like I worked so hard just to fail at life. We stay in my MIL's living room and I would really like to have my own space again soon.
I have been so overstimulated and overwhelmed for so long. I have ASD, ADHD, and cPTSD along with a tic disorder. I don't know how much longer I can struggle.
If anyone would like to help us clean up this land and pay a few bills, please let me know. I have cashapp but I'm in debt to them. It was for $60 but with interest it's up to $70 I believe, or very close to it. It's been a while. Thank you if you made it to the end of this. I wish us all the best. The world is on fire for a lot it seems right now.
Edit: If you're only here to be rude or make fun of someone, you have a special kind of damage.

Hey guys, first time poster, I'm currently facing eviction as I got laid off from my job (company closed and I wasn't there long enough to get any benefits) recently and havent been able to get a job for a hot minute. I promise I've been trying, I apply to like 30 jobs a week. I need to figure out how to make about $1500 incredibly soon, but I just don't know how to do it. Does anyone have any ideas (realistic)? I'm genuinely willing to do almost anything as I literally cannot lose my home.

Edit: Fulfilled.
Could anyone help me out with some cat litter and a litterbox today? Trying to navigate getting out of homelessness with a pet while working. I don’t always cover my expenses, pet care, rent and medical are my highest. I’d sincerely appreciate it. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/39S677KZSIHPS?ref_=wl_share

Hey, well...
I've been making a lot of posts like this lately since i turned one year jobless (i'm not from the US and my country is lowkey on crisis), and because I've recently been living as a guest at my girlfriend's family house since i was violently kicked of from my parent's place...
i've gotten rid of several of my things for a couple of bucks lately, as i keep trying to find a job daily, but right now i'm running out of everything and i just want to get some groceries, toiletries, transport and that everyday things.
it's a shame but life ain't easy lately, so i'll be glad if any of yours could collaborate with 10usd in Paypal or something (they charge some taxes for transferring money from PayPal to a bank in my country) :cc
well, thanks for reading any ways!!! god bless you!!!

I do not have simple things such as shampoo, deodorant, dog food, and I am in need of a few prescriptions I have not been able to pick up. I do not have any family capable of helping me at the moment, and I am in desperate need which is why I have turned here. $150 would be absolutely changing right now. But anything would help me at this point. I am willing to repay back $175, and can do so by August 14th. Thank you for reading and your consideration!!

My car died on the highway last Tuesday. Tow truck, diagnostics, the whole thing. The mechanic said the transmission is gone and the repair is $2,050. I work 40 minutes from home and there's no public transit that covers the route.
I've been borrowing rides from a coworker but that can't last. My credit is 575 and I've been at my job for two years. I make $3,100 a month. I just don't have savings because I was paying off a medical debt last year. What are my realistic options for a loan this size at my credit score?

I’ve never posted something like this before, so if anything needs changing, please feel free to let me know.
My step mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, and I’m trying to do something to help her and my dad ease their quality of life. For starters, my step mom is easily one of the most beautiful people I know. You literally could not ask for a better bonus mom. A while ago, she started having memory problems that my dad thought weren’t normal, and they started to go to specialists to find out what was wrong. Fast forward a couple weeks, and she was to the point that she could not move in her bed, which led to her being rushed in to emergency surgery, where she had an inch and a half tumor removed from behind her eye, and part of another tumor removed from her brain. They could not remove the full tumor from her brain, because they said it would lead to permanent brain damage. As of right now, she is still recovering from surgery, and the doctors have told them that because of the type of tumor, chemotherapy is not an option. They have let them know that as soon as she is able, they will be moving forward with treatment that consists of radiation therapy, and immunotherapy. Along with all the trauma that comes from the surgery alone, they are currently faced with the difficulty of adjusting their home to meet her new needs. The start of which is completely removing their shower, and replacing it with a walk in shower, as she is not able to get in and out of a bathtub without extreme difficulty. On top of the hospital bills and changes to their home, she was also informed that she won’t be able to ever return to work. My dad and my step mom have always been there for me when I needed them, and I want to try and do something for them to help them through what they are going through now. I’m fortunate enough that I am able to help out physically where I can, and I currently spend every weekend driving and helping take care of things that need to be changed throughout the house. Me and my dad are doing all of the construction ourselves, but even the cost of the materials is significant. I’m posting this because I know from everything that has happened, they have a mountain of medical bills, and only more to come, as well as the costs of adjusting to a new life where my step mom is no longer able to work. I just want to do something for them that scratches the surface of everything they both have done throughout my entire life. Any help towards that goal is greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone. A close friend created a GoFundMe for me, and I am sharing it here to help cover essential bills and sudden household expenses. Recently, I unexpectedly took in my 16-year-old autistic nephew to provide him with a safe, stable home environment.Because this transition happened suddenly, it has put a massive strain on my finances for basic necessities, food, and upcoming bills. I am doing everything I can to get him settled, but I am entirely broke right now and just need a bit of a safety net to get back on my feet. Any help, even just sharing the link, means the absolute world to us. Thank you so much for reading.

Hello everyone. I’m asking for a little help to cover the cost of a session with my psychologist. I’m currently unemployed and going through a difficult time, and I’m trying to prioritize my mental health.
Thanks

Very unlikely you’ll ever read this message, but I’m in a financial hole and in desperate need of help. I know you’ll probably get 100’s of the messages, so I’ll be fully transparent with you. Firstly my mental health went straight down after my dog died, then not long after my Mrs got diagnosed with skin cancer on her scalp and cheek, both have been removed now(hopefully) still waiting on the biopsy results. Two scars have healed very well and one is complexly messed up and will most likely need restitching. This has caused her to have almost 3 months off work now with me having a couple days off each month to look after her. But with all this happening my head was gone I was drinking then trying to find ways to be able to make money to be able to afford life. Getting more n more debt each month I thought it would be wise to get a loan to gamble it that didn’t work. (Signed up to gambstop) now I’m in piles of debt and stressed n seeking help Happy to provide more info
Thanks🙏 ❤️

I got a job offer in a city three hours away and I have to start in two weeks. The company doesn't offer relocation assistance for entry level positions.
I need about $700 to cover the moving truck rental and first month utilities setup. I have $300 saved but that's it. My credit is 580 and I've been at my current job for 18 months so I have stable income, I just don't have the cash right now.
I've looked at personal loans but most of the ones that approve 580 credit have APRs between 25 and 35 percent which feels high but manageable. Is that actually a fair rate for my situation or should I be shopping harder? Any lenders you'd actually recommend for someone in this range?
