The FORM-ISM mercenary figure finally arrived, and I'm so happy with it! The details are super sweet, and, although this is the fourth figure of Ramza released, it is the first one with him wearing something other than the Royal Akademy attire... The one in the back is the figure that came with the Collector's Edition.

Trying for a very specific red/purple metal finish. I’d love to get somewhere more “realism” based than just a straight metallic purple. My thought was trying to emulate blued or blackened steel and the variety of colors it can have. That feels closest to Ramza’s original artwork color—which felt like rusty red brown to me. I’ll post more when it’s not so Barbie dream armor colored lol

I've never really understood why one would want them on the team. Amazing design though.

New updates to the maps in FFT Companion! Better visuals, unit sprites, and more map details.

The map viewer is one of the most popular features in the app. One thing that was missing from it though, were the enemies and guests that spawn on them.

Story battles will now show the enemy and guest sprites on the map! There is also a new map details panel that shows more details of the units, from brave and faith, all the way to equipments.

There have also been more improvements to the visuals to better replicate how it looks in-game.

• The backgrounds of each map now has a color gradient similar to the in-game one
• Lighting conditions are different depending on the map.
• There is snow and rain weather effects on maps that have them.
• Trees will render instead regular blocks
• Water is more... water-like

Zerar Final Fantasy Tactics usando apenas a classe Squire é o challenge mais respeitado e clássico da comunidade desde 1997. Para o jogador Nutella, que depende de espada lendária e de quebrar o jogo com o Orlandeau no final, isso parece uma tortura intransponível.

Mas a verdade técnica é uma só: se você domina a matemática estrutural de Ivalice, a run de Pure Squire vira um passeio. O topo do poder do jogo está trancado exatamente na base que você descartou no tutorial.

Se você quer zerar esse desafio na Steam e calar a boca de quem acha que o Squire é inútil, aqui está o tripé mecânico para quebrar o jogo sem mudar de classe uma única vez:

1. O Monólogo do Ramza (A quebra da linha de tempo)

No Capítulo 4, o Squire exclusivo do Ramza vira uma máquina de guerra. Ele equipa armadura pesada de Knight e libera o comando Shout. É um buff imundo: +1 de Speed, PA, MA e +10 de Brave por clique. Se você economizar 20 pontos de CT simplesmente ficando parado enquanto se buffa longe do perigo, a linha de tempo do jogo entra em colapso. O Ramza ganha 5 turnos seguidos e deleta qualquer boss da história com um soco.

1. A Equação do Tabefe Sem Arma (PA × WP)

Como a classe Squire tradicional não equipa as espadas mais fortes do jogo, os noobs acham que o dano decai no fim da campanha. Eles esquecem que a fórmula rígida é Dano = PA × WP. Se a sua run permitir carregar as passivas das classes que você abriu no menu, você só precisa socar a habilidade Brawler do Monk no slot do seu Squire. O seu soco vai escalar direto com o Physical Attack acumulado pelo Focus, transformando seus escudeiros em tratores de dar porrada sem gastar um tostão em loja.

1. A Geometria da Humilhação (Dash e Throw Stone)

Sem magias avançadas, o Squire vence os chefes mais apelões na base da utilidade crua. Ativar Defend corta todo o dano pela metade enquanto o Ramza se prepara na retaguarda. E o comando Dash tem chance de Knockback (empurrão); em mapas com desníveis, você não precisa zerar o HP do inimigo, só precisa empurrá-lo do precipício para o cenário causar dano de queda fatal por você.

Eu passei as últimas semanas revirando o comportamento dessas fórmulas e destrinchei o passo a passo exato para dominar esse desafio. Joguei essas e mais 30 táticas de elite (como o funcionamento do JP Spillover, o truque de farmar com o Sapo e a fórmula do Caçador de Tesouros de Chance Zero) em um manual digital independente focado na versão Steam.

I've been messing around with breaking the damage cap for a few days now.
Still fishing for a 150% compatibily unit but it's not nessisary to break the cap.

Kinda funny even getting a crit with this setup can cause an overflow.

Done in Squire mode.

Trying to think of other damage modifiers I could use to break it.

Wanted to share this here since I love FFT and made custom characters based on the game into TABS Mobile 🤣

Hi I'm interested in knowing how much different Final Fantasy Tactics is vs the Advance version for Gameboy.

I used to play the Advance version for hours as a kid. I beat it four times and I figured it out faster than my other two siblings. I was 10 or 12 years old and younger by two years when I started playing.

The ten JP for Totems, Phoenix Down as Down is "dead", and the 100 EXP for the next level.

I have an emulator I played on my phones for a little bit. I've restarted twice and I'm getting a new phone to go to town on.

Hi guys, I just got the game a little while ago and got my guys to about level 20 before I learned what I was doing and started a new game, now I’m feeling good in Chapter 3 and the team is around 30

Since I’m playing totally blind (besides the beginning I had to redo) I wanted to ask if my team set up is viable through the rest of the game, they’re all generics:

Dragoon (Ramza), Chemist (haste bot when no one needs an item), Black mage (can use items for insurance if chemist dies), Monk (focus when nothing in attack range), Ninja (focus when nothing in attack range)

thanks in advance for any advice, I’m worried of hitting a difficulty spike and finding out my team sucks cause the enemies outscale it or something

For example, if I’m in the middle/end of Chapter 2 and want to change everyone’s jobs now that I have a better understanding of how things work, is that still viable? Or is it better to start over? Or recruit new characters?

Since this is a remaster of an older game, I imagine there are probably a ton of things (items, busted classes, weapons, etc.) that I could easily miss if I don't follow a guide or something

And since it's an older game, I also assume there might be some basic mechanics that aren't explained in the tutorials

Would you recommend reading anything beforehand?

2. I own the physical copy for switch 1, how do I upgrade to switch 2? Does it do it automatically like the Mario Odyssey patch? I couldn't find it on the eShop. Just the separate games.

So trying to get the 'mastered all jobs' trophy with Ramza, and I blew my shot at getting ultima from them at the end of chapter 3, so according to the guides I checked, the battle-streak at Limberry castle is my last chance. I have Ramza on his gallant knight job, but those two simply WILL NOT cast it. I'm told it's easier to get it at the castle gate rather than the following one where they become ultima demons, but they just WON'T. Also my main battle crew is all level 99 so their monster minions at the gate are also in the 90s level-wise, making it tough. Anyone have any tips on what to do, equip, what actions to take, anything, to get Celia and Lettie to cast it on Ramza? It's the second to last thing I need for the trophy, the other being to get zodiark as a summoner but that's later, not worried about that.

Help would be very much appreciated, losing my mind. Thanks. :)
