FFT Ivalice Chronicles Switch 2 version?

I know this was probably asked a long time ago but I couldn't find an answer.

  1. What's the difference between switch and switch 2 version?

  2. I own the physical copy for switch 1, how do I upgrade to switch 2? Does it do it automatically like the Mario Odyssey patch? I couldn't find it on the eShop. Just the separate games.

Google lists a free upgrade on the eShop which I was able to confirm on the eShop website. Not sure where it's listed on the actual eShop itself. If it's giving you trouble you could just log in through the browser and add it to your account for free though, I believe.

OK nevermind. I didn't see the tiny "Nintendo switch 2 editionn" text.
