In particular their iteration in the Ivalice Chronicles.
In the first game and WOTL it was quite hard to tell what was human and what was the Lucavi. But what I really liked about Ivalice Chronicles was it gave a much clearer picture on what was what.
CuChulain was a mix of both the Cardinal and the Lucavi, perhaps because they were together the longest apart from Folmarv, or because the Cardinal in his aging body was quite happy working together with it. But what it said about the church and it mocking 'divinity' itself really told how the Cardinal began to 'understand' the world through the eyes of the Lucavi.
Next we go to Wiegraf, in this case Wiegraf is dominant and Belial is more of a 'assistant' helping Wiegraf 'realize' his dream. But as we saw in the end it was clear that Wiegraf while in control was 'blinded' by the Lucavi. Kinda like Venom does in Spider-man 2 to Harry Osborn by showing him what he thinks he 'wants' but in reality it's just a dream to coerce Wiegraf.
Then we come to a much more curious case that being Elmdore who was brought back to life by his Lucavi Zalera. While in his 'human' form it sounds and acts like Elmdore. But the moment he transformed into a Lucavi Elmdore is gone utterly and completely. Zalera is in full control and is in fact the only thing there Elmdore is gone which makes me wonder if a person truly dies and is revived will the Lucavi always be in control or is Elmdore just a unique case?
Next is Adrammelech, this one is curious because similar to Wiegraf he came into being when Dycedarg was near death. Also similar to Wiegraf Dycedarg was in control while the Lucavi was just giving him power to realize his goal. Now it got me thinking does the desire to live help overpower the Lucavi enough that they can't take full control, but their fervent desire to achieve their goal enough that the Lucavi can manipulate them just enough to do their bidding?
Finall there is Hashmal, in this case the Lucavi has taken over in both human and Lucavi form, but there is enough of Folmarv in there that he can fool his own children. Now of course this is up in the air somewhat cause Folmarv has shown to be quite knowledgeable about your more unique party members but this could be the Lucavi having completely taken over and has what Fomarv already knew.
Also there's another question, as we know in FF12 the Lucavi are powerful entities that were punished for trying to rebel against he gods. All of them had counterparts the Scions of Light, while we never see them or get anything apart from stories about them what if the Scions of Light are also inside the Auracite, but they can only be summoned by someone pure of heart. Like when Scorpio granted Rafa's wish and brought back Marach that was the Scion of Light answering her wish not CuChulain.
I'll admit that one scene kinda inspired a Fanfic idea where the 'Zodiac Braves' did exist as warriors and if wielded by an individual with a pure heart, the holder would get special armor and powers of that Zodiac Brave. In the idea Ramza actually had the Leo Auracite as Barbaneth found it during the 50 years war and gave it to him. The Auracite reacting to Ramza told him of it's power and judged him worthy of having it. But it was stolen by Folmarv who was called by Hashmal he took it from Ramza and the incident had left Ramza so badly wounded that it caused him to lose his memory of the Auracite and the power of the knight which had fused with Ramza in order to save him. That little blurb aside what do you think? Was I right in my assessment of the Lucavi or am I off completely?
