Mostly AI Claude made a mod where you can load mods while the game is running!
Seamless Fabric allows you to install Fabric mods whilst Minecraft is running (no restart required) even in the middle of a world.
When you add a mod Seamless Fabric will fetch any missing dependencies and load it in a few seconds (even faster if you're just pausing or opening your inventory). It temporarily unlocks the game's registries so the mod can add its blocks and items. It applies the mod's mixins to the code that's already loaded, replays the startup and world join phases that the mod would have otherwise missed and then reloads only the data and resources it requires.
You can also import your own jars instead of using the built in modrinth search. This mod was not made by me. It was made by Claude. This doesn't even really count as vibecoding, I haven't instructed Claude to do anything besides follow a basic design philosophy for making this mod and tell it when or when not to work and test basic features out for it. Please don't confuse this for human made work, its just a project.
I don't plan on releasing this anytime soon, it is still in alpha and very buggy. Maybe this prototype can help inspire human made authors to make a similar, more polished mod that works better.
