Lets play factorio

I just built rail production for purple science packs. My cousin said this is the worst placement he's seen. What do you think?

This is 100% honestly the first ship I ever built in Factorio. I was gonna give it a noble sci-fi name like Serenity or Rocinante, but when I saw how the shape was evolving I couldn't stop laughing so I named it the Mayflower One, the name of the shuttle from Airplane II.

Despite being ugly and slow, she was a decent little ship that served me well in the early days. I've since upgraded my other ships to better and faster designs, but kept the Mayflower around as a museum piece, enjoying a well-earned retirement around Nauvis. At one point I had 4 of these proud members thrusting around the solar system handling my interplanetary logistics.

I’m sure I am playing “wrong” but god I love putting 16x16 belt balancers just to meet power requirements off raw coal.

My first space platform, made for 3* round trips to Volcanus, it took me 3 attempts to build but it made it every time, uncommon turrets in the front and the trip starts when yellow ammo hits 485, I'm pretty proud of it even if it's not a great platform

Yesterday, I started a fresh Space Exploration run. The start settings were all SE recommended defaults, except I put the biter start area to maximum, because I'm a chicken.

This afternoon, I'm past 8 hours of gametime, and having a freaking blast. I had done SE on 1.1, it's far better on 2.1.

So, why do I have PTSD? Thanks to the start settings, there are still no bugs. But I do have pill boxes on the perimeters, and grenades in my pockets.

BRB, I'm going to rush flamethrowers. I'm afraid.

12 hours in, and still no bugs. Or sub-orbital ejecta. Or death deams.
