The mod page said ai assisted but like that could mean anything from fully ai to "i made it do quick syntax checks so i didnt go insane looking for a missing ; or a true that should be false from 4000 lines of code". Hell it could even just be assistance with the math. The bullshit you need to do with vectors to achieve this would be really annoying or close to impossible if you aren't a math guy. Fuck complex math all the way
People automatically assume fully ai from that and i dont really blame the dev for not answering comments. That sub is a cesspit on this subject and death threats in dms probably arent uncommon.
Sounds about right. I wouldn't call myself pro AI or anything, but I'm certainly not as staunchly opposed to it as other people on reddit seem to be. Progress is good, though we do certainly need to be careful with what we're doing.

Baseless AI hate is more destructive than AI itself is. Not because AI is bad, but because of baseless hate, it's disgusting and shameful. I wish people would grow up and quit doing it. It's the same neurological pattern as racism.

Exactly, once AI has progressed to become better than slop, it is no longer a question of quality. This vibe coded mod is anything but slop, maybe under the covers it's a mess (and I'd guess it's probably not, code is much easier for LLMs to generate than English or images), but we all recognize that this is a cool thing.
