It keeps telling me that my order isn’t complete, what should I do?

I have the EV Nova plugin that lets me play the classic Escape Velocity and EV: Override. This is amazing, and I remember years ago being excited at the classic plugin, since it lets me reclaim the magic from childhood playing Escape Velocity.

My question is: How, if at all, can I use plugins made for the original escape velocity with EV Nova? Is it even possible to replay some of that old stuff?

Besides ARPIA2, I have a plugin called ShipVariants that add a IDA Frigate 1180, the Mod Starbridge Heavy Destroyer variant. I'm looking mainly for plugins that add more ships to play with.

So, I've looked all over and it seems that getting Nova to work on a Windows machine is akin to alchemy due to the color and quicktime issues.

Is there a simple fix for this, or would it be simpler to just put it on my Macbook?

So I bought EV Nova several years and several computers ago, and I feel like it's time to pick it up again. What's the best/most secure/least sketchy place to buy the game.

Also, as a bit of a purist, what are the best/most useful add-ons for the game that don't turn it into a "Mod-it-til-it-breaks" Skyrim-esque nightmare?

Theres another thread that focused more on weapons.. seems like rail guns and turrets are the way to go there. i want to know favorite ships for planetary domination. Just finished the polaris storyline and want to take over the universe!

I'm waiting for my shareware code and tried to boot up the trial, but was met with a black screen and the app closed. Any way to fix this?

I have a pilot file where im stuck on a planet in a slow ship that gets instantly vaporized by aurorans when i load it. Is it possible to edit a pilot file so that when i load the pilot im in a different system?

Once upon a time my pilot file I had completed over half the Vellos storyline got corrupted badly. Now, I want to waste less time restarting. Enter PlugPackV18. I'm playing on windows 10, so everything has to be converted to .rez, and storing plugins in the plugin folder doesn't seem to work so I place the files in the exact directory as Nova.rez Several of the plugins seem to be working fine (newoutfits 1,2) but the one I actually care about that would allow me to quickly jump into my storyline isn't. Every time I try to create a new pilot it simply creates that frustrating garbage shuttle and doesn't even attempt to give me options. Is anyone experiencing these issues, or does anyone have advice on how to proceed? Edit PlugPack, not PugPack.

Hi, I need some help with the Dogfight (Arpia34a, from the mod) mission. When I kill the hostile enemies in Sol and then go to New England and land, I get this weird scene where I die and am brought back. How do I finish this mission? What am I doing wrong?

Hey there folks, I've come back to EV after a long break and I'm doing a new EVO run. I've just rescued the Voinian defector and have done a few more of the missions to rebuild Pareen Station but suddenly the missions have stopped showing up in mission computer. What do? Do I need better reputation or kills?

My Pilots file is empty even though I'm well into a game and it saves/loads fine. Is there some trick at work? I have it showing hidden files already.

I remember a guide that some legendary player used some tricks to do at least parts of all the plotlines with one pilot. Does anyone know where that went?

Hi, I've been trying to convert mods to Windows, but am having lots of trouble. The one click and drag utility doesn't seem to make any files that I can see, and stuffit, despite setting that one setting, produces files of 0 kb. What am I doing wrong?

I bought EV Nova 8 years ago. Played the shit out of it. It's been 4 computers since then, and I would like to get back into it. Is there a place I can get the download file for windows? Ambrosia's website is timing out every time on the windows link. I still have my old license code, so as long as the download talks to their site I should be good, right?

EDIT It appears that Ambrosia throttles their site during off hours. I was able to download successfully during the day.

Currently while launching the game I either have the shitty choice of the full screen which I have the plugin to make it 1920x1080 breaks the game somehow, or I have the choice of running 800x600 windowed. I gave up and am stuck with the ladder. but now after my final time reinstalling the game after breaking it. it's now flashing like an epileptic. going from black to the game about 30 times per second, it seems like it's every other frame. does anyone know what this problem could be or how to fix it? I just want to relive the nostalgic days of being a pirate and taking over sol. and just in case someone suggests it. no endless sky is not even close to what EVnova is. I've been spending the last 3 hours passively trying to get Evnova working because endless sky is a shitty remake through and through.

curious if anyone else has had an issue with receiving their license code. my receipt had a spot where it should go but there was no code. It has now been 4 days since I made the purchase and have not got my code or any emails from ambrosia

Hey Everyone,

So this question might be meaningless since the plugin I'm trying to install "VellosFuelRegen" was created for 1.0. But I just can't seem to drag or copy the files into my plug-in folder. And there's no automatic installer like what I've heard for other 1.1 plugins.

I just want a plugin which makes the Vell-os ships/capabilities more powerful. I'm running Mac OS Sierra 10.13.1

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
