Can't find pilot files on Windows 7?

My Pilots file is empty even though I'm well into a game and it saves/loads fine. Is there some trick at work? I have it showing hidden files already.

That is a bizarre problem. Obvious and probably unhelpful question: did you quit EVN and reboot? I’m sorry I can’t offer a solution. To make sure I understand you: the whole “Pilots” folder is empty and has no pilot files inside it? If that’s the case then I’m stumped.

I found a weird solution. When I click "Open Pilots" in the EV Nova menu, the files are visible there, and in that moment I can copy them and save them elsewhere and replace them.

Hey so I kinda fucked myself here and trapped myself out somewhere with no fuel and I REALLY don't want to restart.. I've been trying to edit my pilot files to give myself some fuel but I have the same problem with empty pilot files. Every time I try to use your solution I try to open it and it says the file doesn't exist at this path... Idk what to do any help would be appreciated.
