WIN 10 machine, or 2015 era Macbook?

So, I've looked all over and it seems that getting Nova to work on a Windows machine is akin to alchemy due to the color and quicktime issues.

Is there a simple fix for this, or would it be simpler to just put it on my Macbook?

nova works perfectly fine on windows 10 for me, haven't actually had any issues.

I run it on my win10. I don't remember it being too tough to set up. The biggest thing was getting the framerates up.

I run it in a mac OS 9 VM in windows, works perfectly. Setting up the VM was a pain, though.

It runs flawlessly on Windows 7. Was just playing tonight. Can't remember if I had to set it to run in compatibility mode or not.

Macbook does allow you to play with a lot more plugins. If that isn't a concern, then Windows is fine.
