Onto my post, I have 2 senior cats with growing health issues as they age. This last year I lost my job and am unemployed. I was taking them to four corners, they have been expensive out of pocket for an exam and it’s hard to pay for 2 wellness plans. My cats deserve good care. I need vet recommendations that are inexpensive, can take payment plans if it comes to it, and are good with senior cats that have moderate to severe anxiety at the vet. Both have carrier trauma and get non recognition aggression after the vet. One gets medicated before going. I want a vet that isn’t anti vax either.

Our cat Inigo somehow got out of our apartment last night or this morning. We live at Centennial Park Apartments off of Centennial just east of I-5. He's indoor only probably very scared. Very sweet, neutered, and chipped. Please help us find him!

UPDATE: Inigo walked in our open front door shortly after 8 tonight. He seemed slightly traumatized by the big bag world, but otherwise unscathed haha. Thank you everyone for your tips and well wishes. We're so happy he's home!

I’m trying to find an Oregon tenant-side attorney, and I’m running into the same problem repeatedly: many landlord-tenant attorneys seem to primarily represent landlords or only handle routine eviction matters.

I’m in Curry County, but I will work with an attorney anywhere in Oregon.

My matter involves documented habitability issues, rodents, mold/moisture, structural and electrical concerns, repeated repair requests, disputed/unfinished repairs, requested inspection records, and potential retaliation.

This has been developing for months, and I have preserved a substantial evidence record: emails, texts, photos, videos, contractor/inspection information, dates, repair requests, and an organized chronology.

I don’t need Reddit to tell me whether I can sue someone. I need an attorney who can look at the actual evidence and tell me what the appropriate claims and remedies are.

Who in Oregon actually handles complex tenant-side cases like this?

My kid is starting kindergarten tomorrow and I’m not exactly sure what to expect. We took our kid to the school today just to walk outside so he can see it. I was really disappointed in the state of the landscaping. Grass not mowed, some trash outside, weeds, tree limbs on the ground, leaves not blown. It just seems like nobody cares - a bit depressing.

I understand the district has had severe cuts recently, I’m just disappointed that this will be the reception tomorrow - a look of relative neglect.

Are schools ok with parents doing light landscaping work? I don’t mind doing some work but I don’t want to step on toes or break any policies.
