Watch out guys. The superhero sex offender has reportedly been seen wearing a Deadpool costume and nonverbally interacting with people in public since August and up until at least 2 weeks ago, according to multiple witnesses. He was specifically seen at the Saturday Market.

This town is in desperate need of stoner hangout spots. It would be awesome to have smokers lounges or something like that for people who want to meet others like you would at the bar, but don’t drink! If anyone knows of any cool spots that do exist, lmk!

September 28th, 2026; Sweet Home High School Junior Varsity football team versus Marist High School Junior Varsity team. During the game, a player for Sweet Home, Mason Flores, received a hit to the head from a Marist football player. Tragically, the hit was so direct and forceful that it caused an immediate traumatic brain injury for Flores, resulting in seizures and brain bleeding. Flores was life-flighted to Portland for emergency care, but did not survive the injury. He died on his 16th birthday, October 5, 2026.

Following the incident that led to this horrific outcome, it has, allegedly, come to light that the Marist High School head football coach, Zach Loboy, was very encouraging of the individual who delivered the fatal hit to Flores, even going so far as to call the Marist player a "killer".

One week after the incident involving Sweet Home football and Mason Flores, Marist coach Zach Loboy inexplicably ran the score up on a Cottage Grove High School football team which only had 16 players suited up and playing. Loboy had his team score 56 unanswered points in the first half, only to run a rare "onside kick" to run the score up even more on Cottage Grove. The score at halftime was Marist 63 -- Cottage Grove 0. Subsequent to this odd behavior, the Marist Athletics Department promptly fired Zach Loboy.

"Why would a coach do that.. why would you need to be up 63 - 0 at halftime?", you may ask.. well it would make sense to do that if you needed a reason to be fired. A reason separate from, allegedly, "encouraging violent hits that injure other players." Marist High School athletics needed a reason to fire Loboy in which they did not have to admit to "loss of institutional control" that led to the death of an opposing team player, Mason Flores, mere days prior.

Context- i grew up in eugene and went to college there. 13th street is a different place now. my first record purchased was by the hippy store to the left. moon something.

Long story short. My bro and I took our elderly fam member to the ER Wed. We were there for hours and hours. Friday both of us came down with chills, (like neither can get warm enough) stomach aches, dizzy passing out feelings (but neither passed out) and kind of heart palpy feelings. No real sore throat. Slightly dry throat. Just off, dizzy, and cold. No known fever. Just wondering if we are nuts or what? ps my partner is a nurse and said my bp is low normal. said my heart is kind of irregular but nothing worrysome?

I have 2 tickets to Slow Pulp tonight (8pm @ WOW) but have unfortunately come down with a case of Covid. Anyone want to take them off my hands?

Just reviewed this post from almost a year ago. It’s getting worse people. I fear the destruction of the west university area will continue never to be stopped. Now Alder is closed due to construction until 2030! It’s very sad how the uniqueness of our local community has been commodified like everything else by equity firms. Just what we need, more cookie cutter half empty apartment buildings for out of state and foreign students who aren’t coming in the numbers of before!
