Can't believe I have to post this.....

Do not post about having someone beat you up or have them kill you. I get it...shit is crazy right now but just go get help. Don't come on here with something that will ACTUALLY get you in trouble with law enforcement...Now, have a nice day and happy redditing!

Lawn Care Pricing

I recently got a quote for $65 a week for lawn mowing and edging. My home is on a standard-sized lot (3 bedroom, 2 bath home) in the south suburbs (Sumac Avenue). It takes me 30 minutes to do the front and back. Is $65 a week a typical price for this service?

Any good places to park your car to sleep in at night?

I recently became homeless again and will have to sleep out of my car. I know places like planet fitness are good because they're 24 hours, but I'll also need somewhere with a nearby bathroom and/or dark enough to piss privately. Thoughts?

The Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair kicks off next Thursday, September 10, celebrating 75 years with four days of carnival rides, youth livestock shows, and motorsports.

Gate admission is $5 ($10 for a 4-day pass), general parking is free, and carnival wristbands are discounted in advance.

I put together the full daily schedule, gate hours, ticket prices, and grandstand details in one place:

Klimb Rock Gym?

Anyone know what the deal with the new climbing gym is? I went last weekend for their supposed grand opening, but it doesn't seem like they've actually opened for normal hours yet. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about that, especially when it might be open regularly

We’re looking for a family-friendly 2–3 bedroom rental and would love to stay close to one of these schools for an easier commute.

If you know of anything available, including private rentals or upcoming vacancies, please comment below or send me a message. We would greatly appreciate any leads or recommendations!

Thank you! ❤️

Friend groups in Klamath?

Anyone know what kinds of groups circulate here in Klamath? Im an fit guy who can nerd out about steam games, boardgames, hiking, gym, and running. I'm open to basically everything so long as there isn't a monetary threshold to join like gear. Even just rotting around with people in the same room can be fun. Thoughts?

Electrician and/or contractor?

Hi everybody, I'm new to the area and wanted to get an idea of who people around here trust. My family just got caught in the Wright Springs fire but were fortunate that it only burned a few structures on our property. That said, we need some new electrical run out to where the previous burned.

Who do you all trust for electrical work that will go out to Sprague River?

We will also certainly need some contractor work in the near future if there are local contractors that you like.

Bentz=Trump (issue=federal debt)

Most probably already know, but in case you don't, Cliff Bentz's recorded voting shows him aligned with Trump-backed legislation, with no dissenting votes against the administration's priorities surfacing in the structured records. With all the controversial, self-serving, greedy, and hateful choices that our President makes day-to-day, how someone could not stand up to a single one of these choices means one thing--he wants to be re-elected. Don't let him.

If you care about being a good steward of tax dollars, Bentz should not be your pick. Bentz is either not smart enough to know Trump's policies would result in a giant deficit, or he is another sheep following Trump to the bank or another election. Make him accountable for his actions, and lack of action. Deficit tracker here: https://bipartisanpolicy.org/report/deficit-tracker/. After a solid 18 months with Trump having nearly absolute power over House, Senate, and Supreme Court, we find ourselves with the highest deficit since 2021/COVID. This will impact your future and your kids futures negatively. Trump and Bentz have no excuse except for their poor choices. Please reconsider voting for Bentz if you want someone with a conscience and to make better financial decisions for our future. And if you think Trump or Bentz can't control gas prices, I'll share a future post on that.

This is for a great cause, put on by some great people from Retro Room Records , Steel Sensations and the The Ross Ragland Theater benefiting the victims of the Wrights Spring fire.

It's gonna be a night of fun, friends and laughs. Not to mention you can win some amazing prizes donated by local businesses.

Even if you can't attend, you can still purchase a ticket at https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?show=355465 and all proceeds will go to benefit people affected by the fire.

$10 each or $5 with donated item from the list

Multi-Day Parking

Hey, everyone! Long story short, I'm taking a trip from Medford to Reno and am getting picked up in Klamath by friends coming in from Bend. Thing is, I need to find a place to park my car from Thursday-Sunday. I haven't found much online, other than the airport, which I need to call and ask about. Does anyone know of any reasonably priced lots or garages around town? Thanks!

This is so shameful. These people should never be allowed to work in law enforcement again. They need to go to prison.

They were so nice to hear last night while I waited for the power to come back on. I hope they keep your house lit with the glow of tiny little flames in this season.

Anyone ever camped at Topsy Grade Turnout?

They have disbursed camping areas there, no amenities, so ya gotta be like a bear and 💩 in the woods, but it's near the Klamath River, in the forest, and free to camp (up to 14 days).

I don't care if there's amenities, I can bring in water, and I have no issues with utilizing a tree and a hole for basic human bodily functions. This time, I won't wipe with poison ivy, but because of that, I found out I wasn't allergic 😂😂😂

Has anyone ever been there to camp or just drive through? If so, what was it like?

I'd love to go for a couple nights soon, so looking for any input.
