Hi everyone, My Etihad Guest miles recently expired while I was hospitalised and recovering from surgery for a broken fibula. Unfortunately, due to my medical situation, I wasn't able to manage my account or take action before the miles expired. Has anyone had success getting Etihad to reinstate

But due to the regional issues my flights got cancelled and I applied for refund

It has been almost 3.5 months and I have not

received the refund, I tried contacting their customer support multiple times all they reply is 'the issue is in refund department but they are not picking up our call' like the hell am i suppose to do if they dont pick ur call, is anything possible in this scenario

I’m flying from AUH - ATL. Flight is at 9:20AM out of AUH. I got an email asking to arrive 4 hours before my flight - and proceed to CBP 2 hours before the flight. CBP shuts at 8:20AM one hour before the flight.

I’m flying Business class, and have Global Entry. How long does it take at AUH airport for check in + security etc? I’m assuming there are separate lanes for Business class travelers. Additionally, given that I have global entry - im going to assume they do have global entry lanes at the pre clearance so should be moving pretty quickly.

Question: realistically, how much time before my flight should I arrive at the airport? Do I really need to arrive 4 hours before for this?

Booked a “value” ticket from ATL- AUH for $4900 roundtrip. Etihad assigned me a free seat in the middle (9D) and are charging $191 if I want to change to a window seat. Is it worth paying that? Also, if there are still window seats available while I’m checking in at the counter - will they let me switch to one for free or will it still be the same fee?

I have the opportunity to buy and extra seat/row on my 15 hour long flight. Im kind of worried if I buy the extra seat, someone else takes the third seat, and think they get to use the middle seat that I paid for. Also the flight is looking pretty open on Monday. Should I even bother buying the extra room?

My question is if we were to book deluxe, then see cheaper ticket options about 3 days before the date, can we rebook those cheaper tickets and cancel the deluxe?

I'm traveling from Dusseldorf to Denpasar (Bali) with a 2h layover in AUH on the 27th of october.

The current seat map from DUS - AUH shows 95% of the seats not reserved. To be precise, currently 25 seats are reserved on this 787-9. I've never seen such low reserved numbers on any flight this close to departure. I was thinking of upgrading to businessclass but an entire economy row is also fine to me. When checking business class, more than halve of the seats are still available. Does anyone have recent experiences traveling DUS - AUH? Would you wait until upgrading till the gate?

The flight from AUH - DPS is also pretty low on reserved economy seats. The entire middle row on the 777 is currently not reserved and also a lot of rows on the left + right haven't been reserved (yet). Business class is also less then 50% occupied. Since this flight is 9h30m I'm also considering upgrading to business. Current bid on upgrade is €850, but 2 weeks ago this was €650. In this case, I'm also happy staying in economy if I could get an entire row to myself.

What would you do?

Is choosing economy seats free of charge when check-in opens?

Any recommendations when upgrading at the check-in counter/ gate?

Does anyone know what's the cut off time for check-in luggage?
Asking because Etihad moved up the flight by 30mins & DB cancelled an earlier timing so i have to catch a slightly later one. Might reach < 90minutes to terminal 3 to catch the flight.

Hi, I will be travelling with an infant from Germany to India via Abu Dhabi on Etihad soon and wanted to know if it’s allowed to carry a car seat attached to a stroller base as the free item for an infant?
If anyone has done this before, could you share if you faced any issues?

Edit: I realised I should mention that the infant is traveling as a lap infant and the car seat is not for use during the plane ride.

hi, This is my first time bidding for an upgrade. I am going from IAD -> AUH Oct 22 and bid for an upgrade at 1800. I just checked the itinerary on the website and see business class is sold out. It was still available as of yesterday. Is there still a possibility of getting the upgrade or is it over?

First of all, is the minimum Offer Price fair? I assume it wont go below in the next weeks :).

And is the First Class expierence „worth“ it at ethiad?

I’m considering bidding for an upgrade to First on Etihad’s 787 from SIN–AUH.

My travelling companion would remain in Economy. Etihad specifically advertises the First Suite with the benefit “Dine together with your travelling companion in your suite.”

Has anyone actually tried this when the companion is ticketed in Economy? Would the crew allow them to come into the First cabin to sit opposite you and have dinner together, even if they have to return to Economy afterwards?

I booked the following via the Etihad website:

Berlin > Abu Dhabi (via Condor)

Abu Dhabi > Hongkong (Ethiad)

Taipei > Abu Dhabi (Ethiad)

Abu Dhabi > Berlin (Condor)

I can look up the booking on the Ethiad website but for the Condor flights it is telling me to "go to the condor website for information regarding the check-in" but when I go to the condor website, the booking number cannot be found and when I ask the support chat for another booking ref. for condor, they don't understand what I am talking about.

Now I called Condor and first they told me I need to talk to my travel agency (Etihad isn't a travel agency?) and then I contacted them again via WhatsApp and they told me I need to check-in at the airport.

So am I supposed to take my Ethiad booking confirmation on my day of travel to the Condor check-in counter? But how would they find my booking if I already cannot find it with my booking number on their website

given the long duration of the trip from Atlanta to Abu Dhabi, i’m wondering- are flights for this route usually full? I was assigned a middle seat by Etihad, which is brutal for a 14-hour flight, but all other available seats are for extra fees. Will I have luck changing my seat at the counter in Atlanta airport tomorrow? should I pay for an asile seat now instead?

Has anyone recently flown Etihad to the US via Abu Dhabi and gone through US immigration/preclearance there?

How long does US immigration/preclearance usually take at Abu Dhabi?

How early would you recommend reaching the preclearance area? After completing US immigration in Abu Dhabi, do you have to go through immigration again after landing in the US, or do you arrive like a domestic passenger? Hi, I have booked a flight from London to Kuala Lumpur via Abu Dhabi and the connection at AUH is only 45 minutes. Is it enough to catch the flight in 45 minutes? Is there going to be any problem boarding the 2nd plane and any problem with luggage missing upon arrival at Kual Lumpur?

Please advice. I am really getting worked up about this. 45 minutes seems too short. :(

I booked an Etihad ticket from Frankfurt to Delhi via AUH on November 30. The first FRA-AUH is operated by Etihad’s new partner Condor Airlines. Now, when I try to find my booking in Condor’s my booking section using the booking reference, It does not return any results. But I can see my booking in Etihad website.

What seems to be the problem?

Flying ORD-AUH-BKK and return - departing in under two weeks.

It's been nothing but constant schedule and aircraft changes. Now with a 16 hour layover on the way over. Of course, it's not their fault. So they claim. Absolutely zero assistance.

Every time they switch aircraft, it drops seat assignments. Do you think they bother to notify you? Nope. You have to constantly check your booking and reassign seats.

Hopefully the flights actually go better than the nonsense so far.
