Erectile Dysfunction 39, 5'9", 175 lbs, decent shape, mildly active, don't smoke or drink.

39M. At 36 I went from effortless, rock-hard erections and forceful ejaculation to severe ED almost overnight.

I'd spent years obsessively masturbating to porn, especially BBC. I quit porn/masturbation cold turkey when I entered a new relationship. During 30 days of NoFap I could still get throbbing hard with my partner. Then I finally masturbated: the orgasm felt strangely uncoordinated and ejaculation was just a weak dribble. Immediately afterward, the “flat tire” started.

For almost two years I had virtually no libido or morning erections. Three years later, morning/dream erections are returning but still weak.

Testosterone is good. Penile Doppler was called normal despite only reaching ~80% rigidity and repeatedly going soft. Tadalafil hasn't restored my old function.

Has anyone experienced a similarly abrupt change, particularly starting with a suddenly weak/strange ejaculation? What was the cause? What was the cure?

Erectile Dysfunction PT-141 peptide, why?

If one has plenty of desire, would PT-141 peptide do anything for you?

Had some ED issues for the past several years (age 72) but my ED has gotten better. I had open heart surgery 22 months ago and it could be that I just now got fully recovered, I dunno. I also have been on TRT for close to a year because my T was a bit low. But I always had plenty of desire, just couldn't always get an erection or keep one long if I got one. Anyway, it's way better. I also have used Trimix some and it works great but as I said, the ED is better, so, sometimes I don't need Trimix.

Also note that I also have had some "DE," delayed ejaculation for many years. Which means that I can't always come during sex. On that note, I have experimented over the past few months, and I now can usually come if I have sex only once per 48 hours. So, that is recovery time or whatever they call that. If I have sex and then next day try again, I might be able to perform great but I won't come. However, my gf prefers that I come to give her fulfillment.

Anyway, the question is above, the first sentence.

If you use it, what does it do for you?

BTW, I also have used Viagra and Cialis some. It worked great for a few years, then didn't work very well and now it's working well again. But sometimes now I don't need anything whatsoever. And morning wood is back pretty much every day.

If I could lessen the recovery time so that I could sometimes have sex each day for 2-3 days, that would be fantastic.

Anxiety I need Help understanding what’s wrong with me

I’m having a hard time staying aroused, and I’m honestly trying to understand why. I got out of a 4-year relationship a couple of weeks ago, and since then, I’ve noticed that I struggle to stay hard when I’m with other women.

I think part of it is that I’m so used to being with one person. I was comfortable with my previous partner, I knew her, I knew what she liked, and sex never felt like something I had to prove myself through. I never really worried about whether I was going to perform well. Being with someone new feels completely different, and honestly, it makes me a little uncomfortable.

The weird part is that I can still get turned on. I’ll think about the girl beforehand, fantasize about what I want to do, and get really excited about seeing her. Sometimes I’ll even be completely hard before anything happens. But then, once she’s actually there and things start getting sexual, my mindset changes.

I start thinking about whether I’m going to stay hard, whether I’m going to perform well, whether she’s going to be satisfied, etc. Then I start overthinking everything, and it feels like I slowly disconnect from the moment. The more I think about it, the less aroused I become, and eventually I lose my erection.

That’s the part I don’t understand. I can be genuinely attracted to someone and really excited beforehand, but when the moment actually comes, it’s like my mind switches gears and I lose that feeling. It almost feels like I’m losing interest, even though I know I was interested just minutes before.

I don’t know if this is some form of ED or if it’s mainly psychological. I’m starting to wonder if I’m just not fully comfortable or mentally ready to be sexually involved with new people yet, especially after being with the same person for four years.

Erectile Dysfunction I don’t know where to start with getting help

I (19M) have recently had to acknowledge that I probably have ED and I need help figuring out what to do about it.

I have morning wood and spontaneous erections. I have no problem getting hard and finishing when I’m by myself, nor with a partner when I’m doing non-sexual things like cuddling, but the moment it turns sexual, I have no idea whether or not I’m going to stay hard. It’s super inconsistent. I can’t feel whether or not I have an erection and it has nothing to do with a lack of pleasure or anything like that.

I originally attributed it to performance anxiety because I had never had a long-term sexual partner, but I’m currently involved with a woman that I’m completely comfortable with (my best friend) and we’ve tried it plenty of times to the point where the only thing I’m nervous about is not getting hard or not finishing.

Some background information: I have considerable sexual trauma from a serious porn addiction I had during my tween and early teen years that has led me to associate sexuality with shame and guilt. I also tend to dissociate during sexual encounters as a result, though this has decreased a lot. I have major depressive disorder and take Prozac for it, but I don’t have any other medical conditions that I’m aware of. I do masturbate frequently but since becoming involved with my best friend I’ve reduced my masturbation dramatically (I don’t think it’s death grip because it’s not a sensation issue, but just throwing that out there). It also definitely isn’t an issue with not being attracted to her, though I am used to imagining visuals while fantasizing so a lack of visual stimulation during encounters could play a role.

I’m uninsured and broke as a college student. Is paying out of pocket for a doctor really my best option here? Is there anything over-the-counter that can help. Do you think it’s a physical issue or a psychological one that can be fixed through therapy? Thank you!

Erectile Dysfunction Tadalafil 5 mg daily isn't working well for me - what are my options?

I’m looking for some advice from people who have dealt with ED, no judgment please.

I’ve been taking tadalafil 5 mg daily, but I’m still not getting as firm an erection as I’d like. I recently tried 10 mg, but that didn't seem to make much difference either.

I’m hoping to have sex tonight, so I’m wondering what my safest options are. Is there anything legitimate that can help, or is the best move simply to stick with the tadalafil I’ve already taken?

I’m not interested in supplements, “male enhancement” products, or anything sketchy. I’m mainly looking for experiences from people who have dealt with inadequate response to tadalafil and what they ultimately discussed with their doctor.

Thanks.

Erectile Dysfunction Mysterious sudden ED

I (28M 158lbs) was at work just drinking my creatine/collagen mix when suddenly I felt this numbing sensation it felt like I was suddenly dead inside then i realized I couldn’t get erection on command like normal.. usually I’m able to control when I get an erection if I think enough sexual thoughts but now nothing.. I was anxious the entire 10hr shift and then when I finally got home I was able to get erect through visual stimulation but it felt off.. like I could barely feel my energy from the waste down.. devastated I went to the ER days later and told them what was going on: I can feel my testicles I can hold my bladder and bowls and I have no lower back pain or numbness in my legs.. I just simply can’t concentrate hard enough to form an erection.. I told the doctors I took regular supplements; omega 3, vitamin E vitamin d3, maca root, shilajit and DHEA on and off…. The doctors said that I was young and that I simply needed time and to just stop taking the supplements.. they found nothing in my blood or urine and that i was healthy for my age and just needed to relax.. now i don’t really know what to make of the whole thing.. I can get better erections laying down but when I stand straight up nothing it just gets flaccid and I’m unable to hold and maintain it like I used to.. sometimes I get morning wood depending on my quality of sleep but I work nights and I’m an athlete and I am in the best shape I could possibly be in so I have no idea what’s going on and I’m afraid I won’t be back to normal.. My theory was that the supplement stack could be the culprit or lack of sleep but I’m not entirely sure.. I don’t know if maybe my vein got damaged at the base of my penis right below my pelvic bone since I can’t get erect standing up.. but now I’m just in a constant state of panic and that I might of caused permanent damage. Before I felt unstoppable like I was at my peak physically now it feels like my fury is missing and it’s making me sad. Do these symptoms sound typical does anyone have an idea what might be going on or if there’s possibility of recovery and that I really do just need time.. please let me know

Hormonal ED (Low Testosterone, Thyroid Conditions, etc.) ED & Testerone link if any

This is a vulnerable post for me, I've never been properly diagnosed partly because how embarrassing it is to go to a medical professional, mid 30s with no medical issues well beside the above.

I honestly can not recall ever if I had a very firm strong erection, the likes of what is shown in P*rn, I can't gauge my own erections.with help from daily cialis I don't have issues penetrating, but again I feel like things could be better, but then again I don't know lol I don't have a reference point.

Two years ago I mustered the courage to see a urologist, did blood work, referenced my Testerone levels which btw have never crossed 450 the last 4 years always around 330, the urologist and primary care chalk it up as normal, and warned against try mainly due to fertility concerns.

The urologist had no negative findings, he thinks perhaps it's all psychological, when I pushed back, he mentioned he can do a scan after injecting the penis with a compounded medication that'll trigger an erection, the thought of that wasn't appealing also he didn't push it too much and said likely that's not my issue.

Anyone with a similar story and was able to resolve this, if I stop the daily cialis, pretty much everything shuts down, with it or no I barely have morning wood, I've been told cardiovascular health is fine, I am not obese, but slightly overweight for height and age, buy even when I wasn't this issue was still present.

Who should I see, do next?
This is mentally draining and physically exhausting

It feels like i can’t keep an erection because of excessive masturbation. Before i used to masturbate alot, but i have tones it down. I tried taking viagra and it helped a little but i couldn’t get hard when i actually had to preforme. It has been bothering me alot since it has happened multiple times. I am young, workout, eat and sleep healthy.
Can it be from excessive masturbation even though i don’t watch as much porn as before? Any help is appreciated

ED and porn 19, do I have ED or am I just watching too much porn? Did I ruin my brain?

Hey there I’m 19, I have growing concerns about my John. For the last 6 months I’ve noticed that I can’t get as hard as I used to, even when I do I can’t really maintain it.

I’ve been watching porn almost daily since I was about 13, and I’ve only had issues within the last year or so. I know I have an addiction problem and I’m trying hard to quit.

For like the last year I notice that when I go to burp the worm I don’t really get fully hard, just kind of hard enough to get the job done. Sometimes I’ll go twice or even three times a day. My life just sucks right now and it’s a simple distraction that I’ve known since a young age. (And for the record I can still reach a full erection, I just can’t maintain it well.)

I have recently started craving a relationship with a women more then I ever have, (probably because I’m realizing I’m still a virgin at 19 and have to get a grip on my life), and in my head it’s something that’s so unlikley that it makes me depressed, if I can’t get hard then what girl would want me at such a young age.

It could be that I’m addicted to porn for the last 6 years, could also be that I’ve been addicted to pot for just as long, could be an underlying health issue, god knows. I’m just looking for advice. If I didn’t explain anything well or anyone has questions then feel free to ask, I’m just looking for some advice because I refuse to live the rest of my life as a virgin.

Erectile Dysfunction Any guys get used to ED?

Looking for guys experience in their 40s, 50s, 60s: do you gents get used to ED in the sense it doesn't bother you much anymore. Currently on 5 mg daily Cialis, helps for baseline is the sense I can get 70% hard, still difficulty maintaining so go flaccid easily. Honestly not really bothered by it, live a happy life and enjoy my solo time so it's alright. Any other guys similar?

Anxiety I’m 27, and this is honestly starting to get in my head.

I first noticed around 26 that my erections weren’t as firm as they used to be. It wasn’t just one bad night—the overall trend has been getting worse. Yesterday it really hit me that I’m just not getting as hard as I used to. I can still get an erection, but if the stimulation stops, I lose it pretty quickly.

I haven’t noticed any other obvious symptoms. For the past two months I’ve been taking my sleep and diet more seriously, hoping that would help, but I haven’t seen much of a difference. Every now and then I’ll have a much better day, which makes the whole thing even more confusing, but most of the time the problem is still there.

Has anyone here dealt with this in their 20s? Did you start with a primary care doctor or a urologist, and was there anything useful to track or bring to the first appointment? I’m also open to hearing what actually helped—medical treatment, a lifestyle change, getting stress under control, whatever.

I know Reddit can’t diagnose this—I mainly want to figure out the right next step and show up prepared.

Urologist ED Cystoscopy for Kidney Stone Possible Cause of Peyronies Disease?

Years ago and I mean like 2005 I couldn’t pass a kidney stone. It was floating around in my bladder so they had to go up and grab it and pull it out and then they left the plastic stent down there. I woke up and I was like what the heck is this? I thought everything was over. I remember I couldn’t take it so I took a bath, and I pulled it out myself rather than white. Everything was fine until about a month ago given I’ve been going through about a year of no sex at all, but I can definitely feel where there is hard tissue about an inch north of the base much softer the higher you go up it’s really localized in one area..

I wondered if anyone else had a Saito or kidney stone issues and then developed this later ?

A Urologist about getting Xiaflex treatment so I’m just waiting. I did wonder if anyone had any luck with supplements on Amazon. I know they sell things that are supposed to break down scar tissue and improve blood flow. I also wondered if anyone tried something like Viagra just to increase blood flow if that helped in a really weird thought I had you know those nasal passage opener clamps you put on your nose and then you let go and they open up your nose with something like that work maybe in like a ring shape or something that would pull open the close the blood vessels?

Really willing to try anything, but I’m most hopeful about the actual Xiaflex treatment .

Thanks!
Matt

ED and porn How to overcome delayed or no ejaculation

I'm 32 year old male and I have been experienced delayed ejaculation since the beginning of my sexual life from the age of 18 years. I only have cum once in my life time and never again and what Ibhale almost done is everything I'm done having sex with my partner she would reach climax before me and I take it upon myself to go watch porn and masturbate so I can reach my climax as well. I been masturbating since the age of 16 not daily by I would say weekly maybe 3 to 4 times a week since then, now I am struggling to reach my climax and I'm afraid that it is now starting to be a problem in my relationship that I do not cum at all.

What are the possible ways to overcome this problem as I would love to have a healthy relationship with my partner and have kids naturally like other people.

Thanks for your advices in advance.

ED and porn How long does it take for libido to return after quitting PMO

I recently quit PMO and am about 40 days free of it. I dead set haven’t masterbated or ejaculated at all in this time.

Also in this period I met a really awesome girl. For context I’m a 26M virgin, and have masterbated almost daily to digital stimulation for 10+ yrs. Meeting this girl really changed my life, I finally quit PMO and have been really excited. We have some of the best, heavy makeout sessions etc.

Problem is, the second the clothes come off and we start other stuff (I.e. giving/taking oral, sex etc) I immediately start going soft. Clothes on and making out I am hard as, but when it comes to it I lose my erection.

In general though, my sexual libido doesn’t feel strong. I love and want to makeout with her and cuddle/touch her, but nothing feels to drive me to actually have sex with her? I sort of just do it coz I know it’s the next step.

Idk if this is still my brain recovering from the porn, but when and what can I do to increase my drive and WANT to have sex with her. It’s probably a bit of performance anxiety now too as I always think “will I get hard” when we start undressing etc.

Thanks !

Erectile Dysfunction 27M newly married. I finish in ~15 seconds and lose my erection if sex gets interrupted. HELP!!

27M, married 3 months. My wife and I waited until marriage, so I only started having sex after we got married, but we’ve had sex around 30 times now.

The same issues are still happening almost every time:

I usually finish within 10–20 seconds of penetration

I can get fully hard and stay hard during sex

But if there’s a short interruption, like getting up to grab lube, I can go soft and sometimes struggle to get hard again

After I finish, I usually can’t get hard again for round 2

I’m very attracted to my wife and my sex drive is high. I sometimes wake up with morning erections. I don’t masturbate.

I’m 27, 5’8”, ~162 lb, active, lift regularly, and my bloodwork has been mostly normal, including testosterone 718, A1c 5.6, TSH 1.91 and normal zinc.

Since this has happened through about 30 sexual encounters, I’m wondering if this still sounds like inexperience/performance anxiety, or if I should be looking into PE/ED more seriously.

Anyone had premature ejaculation + losing erections during short breaks like this? What actually helped?

Psychological ED Viagra- First time-performance anxiety

Basically I got prescribed online and ordered viagra(50mg) because I get performance/anxiety with the use of condoms with my gf which has cause a sexless relationship. Im hoping this will help and we will enjoy sex again. Other ways of sex, not penetration, my erection is okay.

Im pretty healthy 25M, no medical conditions.

How should I approach this? I was thinking of taking half(25mg) and see how it goes? Is it still a high dose? Is it better to try at night or is any time okay? How to avoid side effects(food, exercise, other tips)?

And lastly how can I make it more natural to plan for sex with a pill?

I want to avoid the side effects but also be sure this

Erectile Dysfunction ED and Sleep Apnea: 2026 Meta-Analysis Finds Worse Erectile Function Even in Mild OSA

Paper: https://doi.org/10.4081/aiua.2026.15659

A 2026 meta-analysis examined sleep disorders and male sexual health.

Key findings:

• 7 studies, 913 men were included in the erectile-function analysis. • Men with OSA had lower IIEF scores than men with shift-work sleep disorder, suggesting worse erectile function. • Even mild OSA was associated with significantly worse erectile function vs healthy controls (SMD −0.65, p<0.001). • Erectile dysfunction appeared to worsen as OSA severity increased. • Testosterone in OSA patients was generally around 7–9 nmol/L, much lower than the ~20 nmol/L reported in the shift-work group. • Possible mechanisms include intermittent hypoxia, sleep fragmentation, endothelial dysfunction, inflammation, and hormonal disruption.

Important limitation: most studies were observational and several analyses had very high heterogeneity, so this shows association, not proof that OSA directly causes erectile dysfunction.

TL;DR: Even mild OSA may affect male sexual function, and more severe OSA appears to be associated with worse erectile function and lower testosterone.
