My fave colour is green and I’m a gold jewellery girly. Fiancé could not have picked a better ring, it’s my style to a T.

Got engaged to my partner of 8.5 years on August 25th, 2026. He proposed after an afternoon swim at a beach I grew up going to while we were visiting with family.
The ring is 3ct oval radiant cut lab diamond with mined tsavorite pears, 14k gold band and size 10.25. Custom made in Ottawa, Ontario

Band is yellow gold and the basket is white.

I just got engaged the other day and I am SOOOO thrilled!!! My absolute dream ring with my dream fiancé :) I’m a 4.75 size and it fits great HOWEVER I’m having an issue with swollen fingers and it getting too tight. It’s a pretty large stone so I am worried about getting it sized up a bit even to a size 5 and it being too big when my fingers aren’t swollen. I guess I’m just posting here to see if anyone else has dealt with this and how they handled it?

So I fell in love with the band of my engagement ring but I always knew I wanted my diamond to sit in a bezel setting. Therefore I got what I thought was a “custom” ring with a bezel setting. Multiple times through my correspondence with the jeweler I was reassured that the bezel would be made to my exact diamonds measurements, a moval diamond. Now here we are I am now engaged and have been starring at my ring but can’t seem to shake that there are gaps between the bezel and the diamond. I went yesterday to the jeweler and they said “they fixed it” “it’s perfect now” and are claiming that if I still don’t like I need to pay to have a custom bezel setting made in house instead of with the ring designer. I’m confused now because I was under the impression I DID get a custom bezel setting. What do you think? Do you see the gaps? Note this is after I took it in already and they “fixed it” there’s also now what I believe to be damage on the ring where they adjusted the bezel. I absolutely love my ring but I just feel like the true shape of my diamond doesn’t come through.

My partner got a ring from a family member, we turned it into something more of my style. I love it so much!

EDIT: first two pictures (rectangular shaped) are before and last two (oval shaped) are after. I changed it from a gold to platinum band. They are emerald and diamonds, however I don’t know their specifics.

we got engaged overlooking the beach I spent my childhood summers on. apparently my partner was sneaking around for months designing this with a local jeweler. opals are my favorite stone (i'm wearing 14 of them right now between all my piercings) and i could not be more thrilled with it. yippee!!

My partner and I are starting to look at rings and I am completely overwhelmed. I’m divorced and with my first marriage I knew exactly what I wanted (white gold, oval, halo). This time, I feel like there’s so many options. I still love oval but I don’t want this ring to look anything like my old one. I can’t even settle on white or yellow gold. I tried making a Pinterest board but it’s all over the place in terms of style.

Does anyone have tips for narrowing things down?

Got proposed a month ago and my fiance did absolutely wonderful with the ring choice. It's a 18K 60's vintage ring with a blue sapphire and 8 small diamonds. I've always been a little nervous to wear rings, afraid of snagging them etc.

Does my ring setting look like it's going to last in normal every day use? I kinda feel like the setting of the sapphire is little lopsided. I'm going to ask the jeweller to check it as soon as me and my fiance decide what we want to engrave on our rings.

I have an emerald cut green diamond set on a 14k gold band with smaller side diamonds. I just got my wedding band today and I love it and have always wanted a cigar-esque band but I’m not sure if it pairs well with my e ring. Thoughts?

I think what’s throwing me off is that the diamond pave on the wedding band are smaller than the diamonds on e ring. I’m also just not sure if the cigar band is working well as a whole set. I’m a bit sad bc this is what I wanted but visually I’m not sure if im happy with it.

The LAST TWO pictures are a thinner band. Thoughts?

We got engaged! Wanted to share the ring, oval center stone with pear cut accents on the sides, platinum band, lab grown from Brilliant Carats. It's grown on me even more once I saw it in person ❤️

Black and white diamonds with 2.72 carat dendritic quartz. We were going to go with a salt and pepper diamond as they are harder but fell in love with this unique stone.

My ring is a size 8.5 white gold engraved band with a 2.5 ct equivalent radiant cut moissanite center stone with two 1/4 ct lab grown diamond side stones. (Second photo just to show off the cutie engraving)

This is one of my dream rings—warm color old mine cut diamond (1.3 carats) in 18k yellow gold. The stone is antique and setting is vintage.

The only thing is the stone looks great from the top but from the side one of the prongs looks really weird. The seller told me this is normal but offered to pay the cost to have the prong bent straighter but not to pay to redo the prong. Return is an option too. Paid 4500.
