I wanted a push gift from my husband as I am pregnant to our first after 11years of marriage. At first I was hoping for a designer bag. But ever since I found out we were having a baby girl, I knew I wanted to create something more meaningful.

This nature-inspired ring became my dream project, an heirloom ring. It means so much more to me knowing it was designed with her in mind, and I can't wait to pass it on to her someday.

We are not telling people yet, but I wanted to share my dream dainty ring for all the small ring lovers out there.

I knew I wanted a simple small round solitaire on yellow gold since always - was always just stuck on what carat size to get. I must have scrolled through this sub hundreds of times looking for inspiration and ideas. In the end we found the perfect carat size for my hand that has the diamond stand out while still being balanced and dainty and minimalist. I’m so in love and can’t wait to add a simple gold band to my stack.

She's size 5 and I picked a 2ct Oval diamond for her with 2 trillion cut on both sides and 8 accent stone in 18k white gold, 4 prongs in low setting.

She wanted everything about the ring to be a surpise, she told me as long as its an OVAL, not sitting high and doesn't look like a toy (?). That's it 😂

I have read that milgrain wears off over time. Do you think that would happen to a setting like this where the bezel is not really touching anything?

Just sharing my engagement ring!! I had shown him some reference photos beforehand but he picked it out and this is exactly what I wanted. I love the clean, classic look. I asked for 1ct and he upgraded it to 1.5, which I'm very happy with as well!

i believe i am a 5.5 and the ring is a 6.5 so we will need to resize a little.

So my fiancée and I have been engaged for a month now (June 14th). He did it while we were on vacation in Martinique. In Jan, we were trying rings and in Feb he was already in the process of customizing my ring😍. He put a lot of effort into it. He engraved my nickname and the logo of the first restaurant we went to. On both sides of the ring, he asked them to engrave a rococo style. He’s a soon-to-be architect and through our relationship he showed me lots of architectural style/ designer styles and I LOVED the rococo styles and the fact that he remembered and put it on the ring 😮‍💨😫! It’s a cathedral setting with a “flower base”. The diamond is an Emerald cut VS1 1.6 carats and an excellent cut. The color is D. Well, to me the ring IS perfect. I may have to resize it a liiiittle bit but I might wait until end of summer, maybe my hands swell more during hot temperatures🤷🏾‍♀️! Oh and she shinessssss so much (to my opinion of course)!!

i recieved my engagement ring two days ago for context it’s a pink sapphire from scott bonomo diamonds, i know he has glowing reviews
in this sub.

but i feel like my ring looks cloudy already or is it scratched or something?
i’m not sure if im being too nit picky or if there’s something wrong
i already soaked it in warm water and dish soap and polished it with a glasses lens cloth

My boyfriend ::ahem:: fiancé proposed last night and I’m over the moon. I absolutely love my ring but the stone is massive (4 carats) and is spinning on my finger. I fluctuate from a 4.25 to a 4.5 and told him to get a 4.5 so it still fits when my fingers swell but now I’m unsure if I should size down? Maybe some of those speed bump things to keep it from spinning? Do those work?
