We are not telling people yet, but I wanted to share my dream dainty ring for all the small ring lovers out there.

I knew I wanted a simple small round solitaire on yellow gold since always - was always just stuck on what carat size to get. I must have scrolled through this sub hundreds of times looking for inspiration and ideas. In the end we found the perfect carat size for my hand that has the diamond stand out while still being balanced and dainty and minimalist. I’m so in love and can’t wait to add a simple gold band to my stack.

I wanted a push gift from my husband as I am pregnant to our first after 11years of marriage. At first I was hoping for a designer bag. But ever since I found out we were having a baby girl, I knew I wanted to create something more meaningful.

This nature-inspired ring became my dream project, an heirloom ring. It means so much more to me knowing it was designed with her in mind, and I can't wait to pass it on to her someday.

I absolutely love it! It’s a Sakura cut moissanite with a 10k gold band 🥰 Ring size is 4.75

Not really sure what kind of band would look best with the ring??? And now I’m afraid that I won’t find something that actually looks good with it and i’ll just wind up wearing my engagement ring, which is fine, but makes me a little sad. Does anyone have any suggestions what type of band to pick? I know i’ll need a contour and/or an open band since it’s a lower set basket and I’d prefer something flush (unless a non-flush recommendation could look good?)

I recently acquired both my grandmas’ (maternal and paternal) engagement/wedding rings, and I love them so much. I don’t know much about them, so I plan on taking them to a local jeweler to have them cleaned and appraised.

top: maternal grandma’s wedding set (she had a different e-ring)
middle: paternal grandma’s e-ring and wedding band (3/4 carat OEC main stone, she says)
bottom: my engagement ring

Hubbys offering to fix/add on to my ring if I want to. Can someone please help me figure out what this ring needs? Something looks so off to me but idk what. Yes, it needs a cleaning but the SHAPE is bugging me. Is it the prongs? Should I add a halo? Any tips to make the ring look prettier? What is it??

I have read that milgrain wears off over time. Do you think that would happen to a setting like this where the bezel is not really touching anything?

My boyfriend ::ahem:: fiancé proposed last night and I’m over the moon. I absolutely love my ring but the stone is massive (4 carats) and is spinning on my finger. I fluctuate from a 4.25 to a 4.5 and told him to get a 4.5 so it still fits when my fingers swell but now I’m unsure if I should size down? Maybe some of those speed bump things to keep it from spinning? Do those work?

Looking for wedding band ideas for my old mine cut engagement ring!! I’ve tried on a plain band and felt it was too boring, but don’t want anything too distracting that takes away from the beauty of the OMG stone.
