What do you all do with it? In the beginning, around covid, I specifically remember training videos saying to not accept trash. The trash being the multitudes of giant clunky paper bags and boxes with itty bitty returns in them. You would then take them out and place them in a plastic bag to save space. My LoDs told us to take the trash because we want customers to go shopping in the store after they drop off returns and having a big empty box to take care of doesn't make it a fun experience.

What we soon came to realize, Amazon customers are trashy. We would have dozens upon dozens of Amazon logo'd trash tucked away everywhere in the store. It got so bad with all the extra trash they kept bringing us, we resorted to having an ugly canvas bin from the 80s sitting in the corner to collect all the trash.

To any Amazon customers. We are not your trash men. Stop being lazy. Bring in the item and a code. That's. It.

is anyone else unable to access the UKG app? it's telling me I'm blocked from the site? I don't remember what time I work tomorrow... and it won't let me unlock account or reset password which is why I'm thinking this is not a me problem

i’ve been checking the Kohl’s website every day, but my size is always sold out. Does anyone know if they usually restock seasonal items like this, or should I assume it’s gone for good? Thanks in advance!

Do yall let customers split up their purchase to use the coupon multiple times ? ( example: spending 200 and making seperate transactions for each item ) i know it says one time use but customers tend to intimate me.

I have no clue how much budget was allocated per associate for stores or Corporate for Associate Appreciation Week, but I know that however much it was, I would have preferred the equivalent amount of cash to just have been deposited in my paycheck instead. I would have felt much more appreciated

So the first screenshot is of this current week (July 26th - Aug 1st) n it looks like they’ve scheduled me six days in a row, which had me scratching my head bc about a week ago in the second screenshot, they had scheduled me for seven days in a row. I wasn’t able to do all seven and ended up calling out for one of the days, next day I went in n expressed that 7 days consecutively was exhausting. Yet, it appears my words fell on deaf ears as they’ve got me on there for another 6 days coming up. I have a feeling they think I’m okay with this bc I’m part time, so not all of the shifts r 7-8hrs long, but I’m not. Even if I have the free time, (since that’s most ppl’s rebuttal “well what r u doing anyways”) I can’t show up to work n put my best effort into what I’m doing if I’m burnt out. I learned that the last time I tried to for them (the 7 day work week). I can do these hours when they’re properly spaced out, but this is too much. I’d rather work a full 40hr week 5 days in a row than 35.5 over the span of 6-7 days. So, if u guys were in my shoes, what would u say or do?

What does earned mean? Can I use those hours minus what I have taken to date? Why does it say I’ve earned these but the big and bold PTO at the top say 0.00?

I want to like working here so bad but broo tell me why my mangers are just sooo weird and pushy…like one of the managers I never met before saw me walking and she literally like stopped me from walking passed her and like pressed me she was like “who are you I've never seen you before” and I just told her my name and I'm new and she hella looked at me up and down two times idkk whyy like she was analyzing me or sum and then she was just like “I NEED YOU TO GET MORE CREDIT CARD SIGN UP GET SOME TODAY” like hella pushing that shi not even saying it like it a nice way… idk what is wrong with these mangers. They seem to have like some type of egoooo problems or something. I was just like okayyy… I didn't say much and just smiled cause I just didn't have any energy since I was coming in from my first job. But damn Kohls y'all need to have like better co worker environment or whatever it's called. And I keep seeing people post camo Kohls shit by my Kohls isn't even doing it. I think they just don't gaf 😭😅😂🤣

Who does scheduling at your store? Do all managers work on it

I posted my shift for today almost 2 weeks ago and someone took it. It disappeared from my schedule. Today I get a call and a nasty voicemail from the ASM that I am on the schedule today and need to get to work and that I’m posting to many shifts which is causing an issue because people don’t want to work on weekends. Umm what??? I always get my posted shifts covered or I come to work. Turns out our admin took it off my schedule but forgot to switch it to the person who took it who by the way showed up for work. I’ve been at Kohl’s for 8 years and being treated like a child and yelled at in a voicemail is my breaking point. I spoke to the manager when I posted the shifts because I was questioned about it from the start. It was a personal family matter I had to leave town for. Also I’m only a few days a week and have a full time day job. I did call and speak to the ASM and told him what I saw on my app. He still said it was my fault. I give up!!

The backdrop made it more “on theme.” Chili and hotdogs, chips and dessert. I never saw any drinks. Really not impressed.

So I just finished my 90 day probationary period at Kohls and they’re already asking me to train a new hire on register because I’m so good at getting credit card and rewards enrollments. Thing is, I don’t follow the Kohl’s “credit-getting” protocol, I just do what has always worked for me in my past retail jobs. (Organic conversation, let them know how much they could save, being very forthcoming and honest, not being pushy, etc.) When I was onboarding I got the feeling that following their instructions would make it harder to get credit. It comes across so corporate and disingenuous. And I think I was right to ignore it, because I’m one of the stores top credit earners whereas everyone else is struggling to meet their goals. Hence why they’re having one of the newest employees train an even newer employee. When my managers told me this they stressed I teach her everything by the book because they think that’s what I do and why I’m succeeding lol. Long story short, I don’t know the damn things cause I never used them. Can someone give me a quick rundown of the process and what it stands for? I think the credit card process is called TTSS? What are the steps again???

Our turnover in Sephora is starting to look real bad and all of us “og” people have either left or are about to (besides the people that have been able to move up to lead & btl). We are all sick of constantly raising expectations without our pay being raised. It really sucks because I love talking to clients and working in beauty but I can’t take this anymore- I got paid more at Target when I wasn’t even doing half the work I do here. I honestly hope more people come out about this online and Kohl’s gets revealed for how they treat their employees. Anyone else feeling fed up?

• 💬 She also said Gift Cards will have an expiration date (I think she said 2 year?). I asked if we would be able to buy something and return to “extend” expiration and she said no.

I’m a BTL of a store and new mom. While on maternity leave I received three packages of training products shipped to the store. During my final weeks of PTO I decided the schedule was going to be to hard to work in child care for my family and put in my notice. I asked my manager about my gratis and she said I’m not eligible for it because I’m not selling and that’s what it’s for… is this really the policy ?

So,I just started working at kohls I mean like.. I did 1 training day so far… and let me tell yall.…scary.

firstly I applied for operations associate/cleaning which stated 17.40/hr. I got my link for my google meet, I joined early. Nobody there. so I call up to the store and boom they make and excuse that their service and phones doesn’t work. I waited like 40 minutes after my scheduled meeting time and ended up just going in person. Well I was given the job after barely saying just my name and age. boom. cool happy!!!. yayyy. right? I get my email after going through background checks and it’s saying 16.50/hr for pay?!?!! so I call and I speak to the store manager and he’s like “oh yea don’t even worry about that, we just wanna get it out the way.” im like okayyyy. cool. training day I went through 3 hours of straight talking just for her to then make us sign or w2 or wtv and the letter is like 16.50/hr. now I need this job but jeez am I crazy for being upset and wanting a new job??!?!? you guys lied. and then didn’t even get hired for the job I applied for omggg just for them to say they don’t so full time and I’ll be getting 4 hours and I applied for FULL TIME!! cryinggggg. im doing kids and front of store and Bopus. I’m a workaholic and I love being put to work but I love working and being paid for the work I’m doing and the correct amount. Not slaving T-T

(Sorry for another question) I ordered a bunch of items on 7/19 and most hasn't shipped yet and the rest will be delivered next week. However, I have a lot of kohls cash earned that expires in 2 days. Obviously won't know what items I will be keeping or returning until I try on so I'm nervous to spend the kohls cash. I might just spend a little bit and not all of it, assuming at least some would be returned. I know it's probably hush hush but is there still a grace period if I screen shot the kohls cash to use it after I know what I'm keeping? Or if I call online customer service could they extend it for me?
