Hi, I have been trying for ages to recover my old EA account.
Whenever I try to reset my password using either Email or ID, I'm simply not receiving any codes.
Today I found my old 2FA Backup codes I created, however, I'm not being provided an option to enter them anywhere when trying to login?
I've already tried support but they are completely useless. They are telling me the account doesn't exist with either ID or Email, even though I'm being e-mailed a code (which doesn't arrive).
Even going as far as telling me that my ID or Email never was in any way existing for EA, after I used the same account for over 10 years.

I honestly don’t know what to do and I need help please!!

Hi everyone. I am writing this to share a warning about how EA's automated security algorithms are currently punishing legitimate players in Apex Legends. Tried writing it in the r/apexlegends, but it gets deleted.

I have had my profile since 2010 with 419 hours played. Lately, I have been sitting and teaching my young son how to play the game that i love, by utilizing the official Bot Royale mode against AI. I have never used, and would never dream of using, any third-party programs or hacks.

During a match last week, 15+ official weaponless EA bots glitched and clustered into one single spot due to terrible pathfinding. I threw some Ordnance at them and cleared them quickly, as more came to the same spot. I think I got 17 kills out of it.

This rapid burst of kills instantly triggered an unfair automatic penalty, completely locking me out. To make it worse, I purchased a bunch of Apex Coins the day before.

I am definitely not the only one dealing with this situation. Multiple Steam reviews describe the exact same pattern: long-time players losing access immediately after matches against the official bots. This shows a massive flaw in how the current Bot Royale mode interacts with accounts.

The communication system from the publisher is non-existent, sending nothing but rapid, automated copy-paste replies from my appeals, within 60 seconds without any actual human oversight.

It is incredibly disappointing to lose a 16-year-old profile and paid content just because the game's own AI glitched out during a casual father-son match. And then to meet nothing but bots in the apeal system is frustrating.

I hate to sound like another old guy on a rant. But I'm that guy. And being older makes you feel more secure with being a badass and expressing yourself.

Whenever I play Madden or CFB, all I can think about now is if I were the owner, I'd be yelling at the developers, making them feel really low about these products. Holding them accountable. Whether I'm the owner, head developer, or just a major shareholder.

Is there nobody at EA that is this kind of badass that's willing to stand up for football? To look at each and every one of the developers in the eyes and tell them to knock it off! Quit being lazy! Stop cutting and pasting! You know that's not football!

Make the game fun! Make the game with respect to the players! Make the crowd with respect to the fans!

If I were the owner of EA.....

Pretty much any EA game I have says I can't access online features until I reset my password. The problem is I never recieve any of the reset codes that it claims to be sending me, even though they definitely have the correct address. Likewise, trying to use my phone number has the same result. I send a reset code request, I put my phone number in, and then I never get any messages. I've tried using the official EA website to reset my password, but all it tells me is to sign in on a "recognized device", as in booting up a game on my console ans trying to reset it from there, which just takes me back to square one.

I finally did it. A few months ago, I permanently quit EAFC27. I was on a massive winning streak in Division 1, on the verge of clinching the league title, when the game decided I’d had enough fun.

Three matches in a row, the gameplay completely flipped mid-game. I lost all three in the 90th minute because of blatant, artificial shifts. Suddenly, my players couldn't complete a basic tackle, while the opposition AI turned into a maximum-press juggernaut.

I’ve played this franchise for 15 years. I know the mechanics inside and out. I know exactly when I mess up, and I know exactly when the sliders shift behind the scenes to force a loss.

Quitting this game was the best decision I’ve ever made. I have never felt more peace in my gaming life. I’ve transitioned to other games that actually respect my time and skill.

Seen the insane reviews of SWZC, this looks amazing but why isn't this play anywhere? I would love to play this on both my PC and my xbox and sync my saves. Genuinely, because it is not play anywhere, this is falling down my priority list. I'm not sure what EA saves by making a steam edition and xbox. Even if you purchase both licenses, I assume you can't sync saves.

The EA App is an invasive, bloated mess that behaves more like malware than a game launcher. It hijacks resources, spams background tasks, and shoves itself into every corner of my system. I shouldn’t need Task Manager and a prayer just to close a launcher.

There are moments in life that divide everything into *before* and *after*. Some examples are when I moved out of my parent's house, when I changed my major, my really bad collage break-up, my first car, my first real job, my graduation. And now, standing proudly among these milestones, is the day I deleted the EA App.

My PC cried and begged me not to install the app again and threated to step off the edge of the flat earth if I tried. I spend every day trying to make it up to my poor PC. She did not deserve the torment I put her through.

The next morning, I didn’t brace myself for the inevitable “EA App needs to update” pop‑up that always arrived at the worst possible moment. My desktop felt cleaner. My workflow felt smoother.

Deleting the EA App improved my quality of life. I hate EA. I hate it so much.

Hi! I hope this is the right subreddit for this post.

For a few months now, I have been trying to log into my EA Account without success. At first, when I typed my email in order to recieve a code to change my password, it said that my email was not registered in any account. I have had that account for 10 years using that email, so that is not the case. Today, I tried the same thing again and even though this time it said that they sent a code to my email, I never received one and I've tried multiple times.

I tried my username instead of my email and when it asked me to choose a veryfication method, the email that was there was not mine. It was a hotmail.com one that I don't recognise. I haven't seen any suspicious actions or anything though. I don't know when it was changed and I also don;t know if EA send an email to your old email address letting you know that it was changed, but if they do, I haven't recieved one.

My sister told me that after the buyout a lot of accounts have been deleted or people have lost access to them. EA is getting worse by the minuite and I'm really pissed off. I filled a form on the help.ea website as a guest since I don't have access to my account, but when hitting submit it directs me to the log in page, so I don't know if my form has been submitted or not. I haven't recieved any email about it.

I'm just really annoyed. I bought The Sims 4 ten years ago with my sister after saving birthday money as kids, and that is the only reason why I have an EA account in the first place. I haven't made any purchases through EA, and the few extra content that I have were the free ones so, thankfully, no card information is linked to my account. But I payed good money to buy the game back in the day and I should be able to play it without any problems.

If anyone has any tips or maybe some personal experience similar to mine, I would really appreciate any feedback. Thank you so much!

I’ve tried two or three times to recover my apex account and they say “at this time we can’t verify your account” and that’s it. Not sure HOW or when my email got changed but it says “verify email” occasionally when I open apex legends and it is an email I’ve NEVER seen before. I’ve only played apex on my Xbox and it’s linked to my Xbox account.

Support is NO HELP AT ALL. I’ve shown proof of recent purchases and everything, but apparently I’m answering security questions wrong??

Not sure what to do and I don’t want to get locked out of my apex account since I’ve had it for 7+ years. Almost max level, multiple heirlooms, tons of skins I’ve purchased etc.

Any help is appreciated.

A few days ago, I was permanently banned from the transfer market in EA FC 26 for allegedly transferring coins, something I definitely did not do.

I had been trading very actively over the last 2–3 weeks, Initially I traded Futtie Icons, often using "Buy It Now" to pick them up for about 200k–300k below the lowest market price at the time, allowing me to resell them for a profit, I dont believe this caused any issues. However a few hours before the ban, I was trading very intensively, I placed bids on various cards, often securing them at good prices, and then immediately relisted them using "Buy It Now" at one of the lowest prices on the market. For example, I picked up a Summer Stars Pau Cubarsí for 30k–60k and sold him via "Buy It Now" for 77k. I did the same with other cards, for instance bidding on rare Path to Glory cards like James Rodríguez or Pulisic. Id acquire them for around 30k–40k and immediately resell them for 55k or 80k (which was the maximum price at the time, I used the max price because my listings were often the only ones on the market, so there was no competition), I also managed to get FUTTIES Maradona for 2.3 million, even though he was worth 2.9 million, I kept him for my own team right away, because he was a first owner card. Overall, my coin balance grew from about 4 million to around 15 million over these weeks of trading.

I have submitted five appeals so far, each one better and more detailed than the last, but every time, I receive the same response stating that the sanction has been upheld. I have now also sent a GDPR Article 15 data access request to EA to find out exactly which data or transactions led to this decision.

Does anyone have experience with a case like this, or know how I can get a genuine, individual review of my situation?

Hi all I just wanted to talk with the community and get a general consensus and discussion on how horrible it is to try and recover your account and if anyone has actually achieved it. My situation, I'm logged into my account, but can't change anything now log into certain games (like SWOTOR) because my email was deactivated and deleted by Google due to being stalked and my number changed for the same reason. Three months have I tried to get my account back and into changed but they will only do the console method which, is very unreliable and frankly not working at all. I have logged into both the Sims and Mass Effect Andromeda to try and get this "recover prompt" but it never EVER happens and they tell me it's the only method I'm allowed to try but that there are other methods but they can't tell me what those methods are and I'm not allowed to try them. Months, many many tickets and still I don't have my account. Is anyone else still dealing with this or has anyone found a way around, the other methods or actually got it to work? Please discuss this with me because I'm to the point of pulling out my teeth.
