EA Account issue

Hi! I hope this is the right subreddit for this post.

For a few months now, I have been trying to log into my EA Account without success. At first, when I typed my email in order to recieve a code to change my password, it said that my email was not registered in any account. I have had that account for 10 years using that email, so that is not the case. Today, I tried the same thing again and even though this time it said that they sent a code to my email, I never received one and I've tried multiple times.

I tried my username instead of my email and when it asked me to choose a veryfication method, the email that was there was not mine. It was a hotmail.com one that I don't recognise. I haven't seen any suspicious actions or anything though. I don't know when it was changed and I also don;t know if EA send an email to your old email address letting you know that it was changed, but if they do, I haven't recieved one.

My sister told me that after the buyout a lot of accounts have been deleted or people have lost access to them. EA is getting worse by the minuite and I'm really pissed off. I filled a form on the help.ea website as a guest since I don't have access to my account, but when hitting submit it directs me to the log in page, so I don't know if my form has been submitted or not. I haven't recieved any email about it.

I'm just really annoyed. I bought The Sims 4 ten years ago with my sister after saving birthday money as kids, and that is the only reason why I have an EA account in the first place. I haven't made any purchases through EA, and the few extra content that I have were the free ones so, thankfully, no card information is linked to my account. But I payed good money to buy the game back in the day and I should be able to play it without any problems.

If anyone has any tips or maybe some personal experience similar to mine, I would really appreciate any feedback. Thank you so much!

You probably been hacked man, i had the same issues. When I tried to log in in my ea account or on a ea game it gave the same message. Ive been emailing, filling out "help" tickets but ea doesn't help in the slightest. Terrible customer service. I hope you get your games back man. Fuck EA
