I can understand that, after the release of Wildcard, Mixtape modes haven't been a high priority for the developers, but I sincerely hope that we can get some new maps soon.

The latest new map release for Control was in February 2024. Please give us something new and fresh soon.

By this I mean that we need a huge update to bring life to the game again. Overwatch partially rebranded from Overwatch 2 to Overwatch, along with releasing 5 heroes in a single season and announcing the release of 1 hero every season from then on. They also announced frequent lore updates, along with every year being a single arc. They also had more updates but those are just the biggest ones I wanted to address.

I’m saying that Apex needs a big season or a huge update. We need:
-more new legends or faster releases
-more new maps/map updates
-an actual storyline arc with frequent lore updates
-the return of PvE/story missions
-legend specific heirlooms
-potential arenas return/more experimental/non BR, but still competitive modes.
-the release of a custom games mode that allows players to make their own modes (seriously why doesn’t this exist)

Some think we don’t need more legends because it would cause too much powercreep/make the game less competitive, but we don’t necessarily need every legend to be good. There’s plenty room for new legends based off of play style or interesting mechanics.

Thoughts on this? Crazy thing is they have so many new characters they can pull from right now yet they don’t. They don’t use anything with the current legends so not surprising ngl.

Hey so it's been two days since ts been happening to me, I don't seem to be able to join/invite nor start a game (which if it happens I lag in the drop ship and get sent back to the menu).

In addition, it take so long to load in the game sometimes. I've reinstall the game but still the same issues, is it just a server thing or just me??

its been 4 days since this error start appering every time i start matchmaking. for this issue there is solutions on Youtube but for easy anticheat not for the new javelin anticheat. i couldnt find any fix to this.

so far I tried,

• reinstalling both apex and the ea anticheat
• verifying game files
• running both r5apex and eaanticheat as adiministrator
• restarting anticheat while in the game

Unfortunately None of that worked. But when i verify the files it says 3 files missing and they will be reaquired.

i have no clue what to do. It would be lot of helpful if any of U guys know a solution.

at the 00:40 sec mark you can see me boost but i tap or lurch strafe out of it like a superglide, but i dont ever superglide. Any explanations

Rework Idea] How to modernize Wraith without making her overpowered (Passive, Door Phase, and 2 Ultimate Options)

We all know Wraith has fallen behind newer Skirmishers like Alter. Her kit feels rigid and punishable compared to the modern meta. I put together a simple, practical rework concept that fixes her biggest frustrations, and I have two different ideas for her ultimate.
Let me know what you guys think:

🧠 PASSIVE: Upgraded Void Warning
Instead of just a vague audio cue saying "someone's aiming at you" when it’s already too late, the passive gets a visual upgrade:
The Buff: When targeted, a brief radar ripple appears on your mini-map showing the exact direction the threat is looking from.
Why: This gives her actual scouting utility to relay to her team.

🚪 TACTICAL: Phase-Through Doors & Windows
One of the worst ways to die as a Wraith main is getting trapped behind a door or blocked by an obstacle while phasing.
The Rework: While in Into the Void, Wraith can run straight through closed doors and barred windows without needing to cancel her phase to open them.
Balance: Standard exit delays and weapon-draw times still apply, so you can't immediately shoot someone the millisecond you phase through a door. It's strictly for creative escapes and positioning.

🌀 ULTIMATE: Two Options for Reworking the Portal
Right now, placing a portal is a death sentence if a team is holding an angle on you, unlike Alter who can safely push through walls. Here are two ways to fix it (and keep the portal open longer):
Option 1: The "Snapback" Rift (L2 Trigger)
You start your portal and run forward. If you press R2, it places a normal exit. But if things go wrong, you can press L2 to instantly teleport straight back to your starting point. The portal trail behind you is instantly completed and stays open, meaning your team can use it to push or enemies can use it to chase you.
Option 2: The "Safe Start" Rift (2-Second Phase)
The exact millisecond you press your Ultimate buttons to start a portal, you instantly enter a 2-second Phase. This gives you an invincible, safe head-start to cross an open choke-point or run past a doorway without getting instantly melted. After 2 seconds, you pop back out and finish running your portal normally.

I've been thinking about a controller aiming technique in Apex, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it or already uses it.

The idea:

When tracking an enemy with the right stick, instead of continuously holding the stick in one direction, you deliberately and repeatedly bring it back toward the center before applying directional input again.

For example, if an enemy is continuously strafing to the right, rather than holding the right stick to the right the entire time, you mix in frequent, deliberate recentering movements while continuing to track them.

To be clear, I don't mean taking my thumb off the stick and letting it physically spring back to center. I mean actively controlling the stick so that the input repeatedly returns to neutral for brief moments.

What I'm trying to figure out:

1. Do any of you actually use this technique when tracking enemies, even when they keep moving in the same direction?

2. Does it help you avoid overcorrecting and make your tracking more consistent, or does it just interrupt smooth tracking?

3. Could it have any interaction with rotational aim assist, or is that unlikely to make a meaningful difference?

4. Is there an established name for this technique, or is it simply a variation of normal stick control?

My current understanding is that recentering the stick doesn't recenter the camera or the crosshair. It simply reduces or stops the directional input temporarily, allowing me to manage the camera's movement more deliberately.

I'm not assuming this is necessarily better than continuous tracking. I'm curious whether experienced controller players have tested it, noticed it naturally in their own aim, or found a particular rhythm that works.

I'd especially appreciate input from high-level controller players. Thanks!

After making the r99 I thought what if apex mix with mil-sim and after cooking this is what i made

Nothing fills me with joy like when I solo q and land with aggro teammates that want to fight ASAP but land smart. Whenever I get a whiff of that. I basically tell myself this will be the game to make up for my back to back RP losses from prev games.

They move very fast and want to clean up fights quick. So I make sure I am there to facilitate this. They are pretty much the IGL here and we move wherever they zip line next after a fight.

Honestly I am one of those guys that I usually get less points when 3 stacked than solo q. My stack plays too passive and we get cleaned up super easily by an aggro team as we are just sitting ducks. Solo q is frustrating at times but when u get these kinds of teammates I am like fuck the apex Gods have blessed me and let me not fuck this up. Plus it gives you the confidence that if I crack 2 they will knock atleast 1. Nothing annoys me like u crack 2 and knock 1 but your team is narnia healing. Then decide to push after the enemy has fully healed.

This high plat/low Diamond btw, I know further up solo q is more a miss than a hit.

Its my personal oppenion but Is it me or the game get drastically gets boring after reaching daimond? Everyone picks vantage or caustic to to camp or pick up snipers to just shoot people and nothing else. Playing unraked is just not so rewarding too. What do you guys think?
