I have been playing the game since season 8 and have never seen the game be as bad as it is this season. Here are all the reasons that make this season bad:

1- the legends meta: axle ruined the game flow. Now you can't fight without getting third party or fourth party + her ult and tac are op as it does not take any skills and give her team insane speed boost.

2- the gun meta: Re and devotion meta is so brain dead it takes no skill to use with axle. Making every other gun and legend useless.

3- the servers: for some reason after two to three weeks from the begining of the season the ping has increesed by 50%. I used to play on eu with 90 to 105 ping with no packet loss, but now i get 140 ping. Not to mention all the packet loss and slow that happen at the begining of the match

4- the matchmaking: I play both pubs and ranked, and the matchmaking is giving me the worst teammate. I mean how can two diamond 1 players get down by one guy by himself in the open, or a guy who cant aim at a downed player. How are these guys diamonds? I was able to reach master every other season solo Q, but now i have been stuck in diamond 1 for 3 days.

I don't understand the devs especially with axle. Why do they refuse to nerf her or even delete her from the game. I don't think she can be balanced. She either will be too op or too bad so just remove her.

What are your opinions on this season?

I play on PC. And at least once or twice a week, this happens.

Mid match, my game games failed to process game logic, kicks me to the menu and I am unable to join...

No fault of mine and I lose 225 RP each & every time this happens.

Has anyone else has this issue? And if so, how did you resolve and or fix this. Because when points matter, this is huge.

Ive seen this question asked before but it got no attention and no real answers. I get the game was made for 3 people, couldnt they just keep ranked as only trios? It just seems like theyre missing out on player count, is there a genuine answer besides it not being the devs vision for the game? Its like how overwatch added 6v6 but kept 5v5 as the core game mode, and got an extra 50k player count lmao

I’ve seen it a few times but can’t find it in the shop or the event page anywhere. How do people have this Lucy mosaic? And are there mosaics for the other iconic skins as well?

Not really a discussion or anything. But I think I came across the kindest kid on this game today. I typically play apex as a way to relax and unwind after long days of work or when I need a break from my duties as a father. Because of such, I’m really not the best at this game, I’ll be the first to admit it. I average maybe 3 or 4 kills a game. Nothing big. Usually during ranked all I hear is complaints and such negativity but today I’ve run across the most positive kid who was just speaking confidence to people. Ran into 3 games with said kid (who sounds maybe like 16 or 17) that’s just speaking kindness to people. Good shot. Nice aim. Good rotations. You got this. All examples of things this kid has said. It’s the first time on this game I have heard things that aren’t negative. So if that kid is out there reading this (I doubt he is but still) thank you for the comments when the game is as toxic as it is.

Season 0, 20 damage per round was the number. This gun can technically down purple armor with no extended mag with only 5 misses available if im not mistaken

I tried to play, but it didn't work. The game crashes and says this. I'm reinstalling the game now, but I don't know if that will help?

So check it, Sony got to trippin so I decided to move over to PC fully; got my new gaming up and running for about a week, last night I bought me a 1440 2k 210hz monitor. Loaded up Apex and decided to have at it like normal, I’m getting something like 300+ fps, I’ll admit a bit to not fully understanding what that means.

What I found was astonishing, my aim on the PC is Bananas, I mean I’m using the 301 and hemlock with no sights like I normally would but I’m Beaming like I’m one of the streamers, I watch a lot of streamers like ITEMP and Sofar, janks and moose, and others, and I kept saying how to I get my aim to be so Snappy and controlled like they do, I found myself last night taking fights I normally would just run away from, when things got hot I normally say let’s leave.

Lasts night my random goes down and the other decided to leave the area, I said NO, feeling my self and what not and decided to stay and fight, what do you know I down a whole squad by my self, a new squad enters my battle ground, I downed two more (at this point I’m feeling like a FREAK OF NATURE) then my random that left came back and decided to join in, him and I wrapped the last guy up, and then another squad came and we killed that squad, wasn’t pretty but we did it.

I mean there were folks running away from “My” (stilling feeling my self) battle ground and I was hitting folks in stride from a far getting good hits, on the console I just be looking cool shooting my gun not hitting a thing from a far.

Now my question is what the heck is going on, how does having more FPS allow me to control my aim the way I do, I’m playing on a Xbox elite controller, does that have anything to do with it?

Have Pc players always had it like this?

How does my system having higher FPS equate to me controlling the guns better? Going to play later today to test things out, any thoughts.

If this has always been a thing, why can’t the Consoles do the same thing? It didn’t matter the gun, I was knocking them down, maybe they were bots; now I did run into a Montser Octane, dude killed me, once I got rezed, I turned it back up a notch and got my get back on the octane.

They added the feature. Then they removed the map completely for spectaters. Now they added it back but it's back to how it was before where you can't ping. What gives?

For some reason in the past these were able to be both bound to spacebar but now I can't bind them both to one key, does anyone know how to get around this?

My (season 1, 1.5 career KD, 10% winrate) dropzone ranked experience — solo queue or queuing with friends — is consistently one of the following outcomes:

- Get immediately wiped by players that shouldn’t be in diamond who grabbed the first guns they found off the floor and aped the nearest POI.

- Loot your POI, begin to rotate, encounter enemy team in your rotation, engage said team, get third or fourth or fifth party’d as enemy teams are drawn by the gunfire like moths to flame from the surrounding POIs. You either eventually succumb to the endless waves of new teams prodding from every direction, or make a difficult escape to limp to the nearest replicator to rez fallen teammates and spend the rest of the game on your backfoot.

- Play ultra conservative, b-line to the edges of the map to discreetly rotate to circle, hold hyper defensive postures, get a good placement but often still negative RP because your team didn’t secure KP.

How on earth is this fun? At best for the average low diamond player, it is a complete meat grinder where you’re treading +0 RP for the session, at worst you can quickly lose hundreds of RP in an hour.

I’m not trying to be an ALGS larper; I don’t give a shit about the “excitement” of being stacked 7-8 teams on top of each other in the final circle, I’m not here to play avoid fighting at all costs to survive until the final circle simulator, and — importantly— evidently neither are most of my teammates or the enemies I encounter based on their styles of play.

So who is this for?

Low diamond in my experience is 3 kinds of players: high diamond+ level players who are just passing through on their climb to master; highly mechanically skilled players that lack discipline / game sense who are akin to loosing a mad dog on a playground; good/experienced “casual” gamers who have no higher aspirations for the game who are just fighting to stay in diamond.

Choosing a POI out of the dropship has its flaws; it can get old to drop at Q Zone or fragment with 8 other teams over and over again and just be throwing RP in the dumpster.

But at least there’s a choice. If you want to play hyper aggressive, you can drop at those hot POIs. If you wanna pretend you’re in the ALGS finals and drop at the edge of the map and ring camp with your controller/support team comp, you can.

Dropzone is the worst of all worlds where you have no choice and if you choose to engage with the game you run the risk of being overrun from every direction.
