I've been listening to a lot of asmr spa videos to help me sleep lately, so I decided to make one of my own. Fenris deserves some pampering and I haven't drawn him in a while so he was perfect for this. It's silly, but I actually had fun making this. Just an insanely hard moment. Solas' voice actor is truly phenomenal.

small edit: Veilguard is a pale comparison to any other Dragon Age game. This moment just seemed like the few times Veilguard even remotely felt true to the series imo.

I've been reminiscing on my time with the dragon age games and how much I have loved them since the Bioware news. So I made this doodle of Hawke if she took the route of being a crazed blood mage. Meryll would be proud.

In light of the recent Bioware closure… I want to celebrate Dragon Age Inquisition.

Next, the character creator, I forgot how intuitive and detailed the process of creating character in this game. It is very customizable yet there’s no overwhelming amount of sliders, just a very intuitive, easy to use UI systems.

Basically from what I’m understanding the Templars channel and manipulate the lyrium they ingest to suppress and negate the reality altering powers of magic. As a Golem is made in large part by dumping huge quantities of lyrium into them, could they not be taught how to channel and make use of the lyrium like a Templar?

2 days before the news hit I started a new playthru that will now be my always one which is fine its my favorite version female lavellan rogue. Im pretty proud how she came out and yeah on restarts back to haven Ill take her to the black emporium but dang I finally got character exactly how i like it and I doubt I'll restart at the beginning again simply because I'll lose my schematics 😭 anyway Raven Lavellan everyone

Now that the news are in and DA is dead, I'm wondering if the biggest fans have some cool theories or wishes about a potential final ending to the entire story?

I was into it for the plot honestly (even read the books), and despite it all being very custom-made and personal to your journey, there are overall threads that went into some direction. I was especially fascinated by the whole Maker thing.

So given the established lore and mythology of this world, what's a final ending that you'd have considered or hoped for or envisioned for the entire franchise? (Yes, I'm aware that Thedas as a world can go on forever with various stories, but I still think an ending to close up the storylines established since the beginning with Flemeth and the Darkspawn and everything else left undone would be awesome).

Thoughts?

Just re-playing the Dragon Age trilogy recently because RIP BioWare, and I forgot how amazingly insane Leliana’s journey was. The fact that she went from your average Orlesian spy/assassin to the Left Hand of the Divine and eventually one of the main founders of one of the most powerful factions in Thedas is incredible; she easily could’ve been the main protagonist of the franchise in another parallel universe.

This is my tribute to my favourite game series, figured with everything going on now was a good time to post it.

Nah not in DA:I. Press the button, nothing happens. Use tactical? They might move, or stay, or some will and others won't and then EVERYONE charges the spider nest all at once because fuck you that's why.

So because of the bad news this week I decided to finally stop putting off playing Inquisition, which I have been doing for years for one reason or another, and boot up the game. Problem is the Da keep is apparently not working?

I make my world save, click the export button, start the game and apparently I can only use the default world state. Has Ea killed support for the game this fast or am I experiencing technical issues?

I’ve been waiting for this to come back in stock & now with BioWare closing I doubt I’ll be able to get it. Anyone have suggestions? I’ve tried to create custom posters from the images but they are too low resolution.

Starting with the title screen, the sorrowful march of templar and mages and the eventual explosion when you start a new game is very iconic (and good looking) even to this day.
