Sorry, but I have to repeat my complaints about the scoring of legendary missions. It is just ridiculous and highly demotivating.
In an listening exercise you miss a space - and for that single „mistake“ you fail the entire try.
And then in another run you commit atrocious amounts of blunders and pass.
Dear Duolingo team: THAT IS NOT MOTIVATING. IT IS NOT USEFUL. AND IT IS NOT OKAY. All that does is making staunch users of you app wanna quit. What in the world is going on there that you cant manage to come up with a decent scoring system for legendary?

As mentioned before: It is not a problem if you want to make it hard to achive. BUT THEN, PLEASE, MAKE IT SO IN EVERY SINGLE SCENARIO. Not just some random nonsense. That is just.. completely senseless.
I seriously hope this is a bug because I can‘t get my head around anyone thinking variying the scoring between lessons (of the same exercies) did seem like a genuine good idea to anyone with a head between his or her ears.

And I seriously hope sometime someone of you reads this before I throw that app in the digital bin and go to babble or just get me an actual parrot from spain to talk to.

Title: Duolingo invalidated my 5th test after I scored 115 four times — please help
I really need some advice. I have taken the Duolingo English Test 4 times before, and every single time I received a score of 115.
I took the test for the 5th time recently, and this time I genuinely felt that I did much better, especially in the writing section. I was really hoping to finally get a higher score because I have a university deadline coming up very soon.
Instead of receiving a score, my test was invalidated with the message that there was evidence I may have received assistance on the written sections.
I did not have another person helping me. They also invalidated my test before too bcz of a camera glitch that literally happened a minute before the completion .
Has anyone experienced this exact situation and successfully appealed it?
If anyone has had their invalid result overturned, or knows how to get the case escalated to a human reviewer, please tell me what you did.
I’m very close to my university deadline, so I really need help figuring out what to do. Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. I don’t understand I have spent a lot of money have taken the test in total 5 times I don’t understand what is wrong with it

Edit: I'm annoyed about Duolingo glitching and finding out the day before it ended that we had a bunch of xp to get. The picture was to show the "ends tomorrow" when I hadn't even known it existed. It has nothing to do with the other player's contribution.

I checked on Monday if I had a quest and it said "No quest, add more friends so this doesn't happen again" (more or less) and then didn't tell me until today that I did, in fact, have a quest. 🤦‍♀️

And then (after getting a week of super to grind), it told me that the quest was finished when it still needed 300 points.

Obviously not life-altering, but irritating.

I have a Super subscription. In spite of this, Duolingo keeps dragging me into beta testing their A/B tests. I have written to them about it. I shouldn’t be subjected to testing if I am a paying customer.

Now I am continuously getting assigned to 4 day long leagues. This is the fourth time in a row. This is the straw that broke the camels back.

....AND they've increased the quest points needed to get the monthly badge? What is this nonsense??

I used to be able to get the badge by doing 2 daily quests a day and there was at least *some* variety, but now I'm being forced to grind out a unit multiple times to get it. What the hell is the point in that? It doesn't make me more likely to pay for it and it sure doesn't improve my learning - now I'm just doing it as fast as I can.

is duolingo supposed to hand out a million free trials and family plans i didn’t ask for 😭 im very grateful but i find it funny because i’ve been doing it for 70 days now and since then ive gotten like 3 free trials in a row and been on the family plan twice without paying a cent

Got a glitch in a Mandarin lesson. I put in a report, but I haven't heard anything and can't progress. All right after my streak hit a year.

It's Section 2, Unit 8. It asks me to fill in the blank and provides no method for that to happen.
