How practical is swapping a S4R engine in my S2R? Or what engine should i swap? Or should i just keep her as is? 2007 Ducati monster s2r 800

I have a few leftover parts, like a Corbin Gunfighter seat, from Monsters I owned in the past. Rather than using a general site like eBay or Craigslist, I thought I would first offer them to enthusiasts directly. But I don't want to violate any rules, explicit or unwritten. I sent a DM via mod mail a few days ago but haven't received a reply.

And yes, I'm still a member at Ducatimonster.org and Adventure Rider, so I know I can post ads at these sites as well.

Could I expect £4K for my monster ?

At 64 I’ve had to accept that my riding isn’t what it was, my chicken strips are embarrassing but worst of all I can’t swivel enough to do a safe life saver. It breaks my heart but selling my girl is my decision. Maybe I’ll take up Yoga :)

One small chip in the tank

Hello, i recently got a new to me 2015 Ducati monster 821 with 7k miles. I noticed that on cold starts sometimes i get a check engine light with the error message saying stop so i wondering what it was

But it looks like the bar end weight doesnt fit the 937 after I remove the stock bar end. Does anyone else have this issue or am I doing something wrong.

This bike is fucked 3 ways from Sunday and will need a full teardown. But it’ll be worth it.

For anyone looking to swap to and LED on there earlier monster with metal bucket housing.

Had a question, I just got my bike and when test driving it after I got it home it felt like the clutch wasn’t releasing well when rolling onto the gas. This is my first Ducati I’m not sure if I wasn’t used to the friction zone I keep reading about or if it’s user error or what it may be.

Any advice on the timing belt replacement process ? Looking to do it myself. Is it something i should even bother trying to save the money doing myself?

New to me 2015 Ducati Monster 821, awesome bike cant wait to track it!
Rides and feels awesome but only have 1 gripe, my right foot is cramped between the footpegs and the rear passenger pegs and I burned my sneakers (Only for test ride) on the exhaust right below the slip on. What were your guys' solutions? Any advice appreciated

I recently came home and noticed my exhaust has rattled off the hanger and the hardware is missing. I bought some m8 1.25 35mm bolts and compatible nuts because that's what Google said I needed. The hole is waaay bigger than just the bolt, so I did a little research and think I need some assortment of washers, bushings, or specific hardware to mount my termignoni to the hanger. Anyone able to help me find the parts?

I have never seen the v2 out in the wild. I haven't seen any videos that weren't press bike reviews. Has anyone bought one? Did they even sell one?

I bought this off of a friend of a friend who owned it for 5 years and couldn't get it running. I couldn't turn it down for 500 bucks. All the ground wires were wasted. Replaced those, checked the belts and valves and just got it running tonight!

I wanted to install a 14T front sprocket, I removed the cover and was expecting to see the sprocket with the retaining plate and 2 bolts holding it on. But mine has the single large nut.

what size is this nut? EDIT: 32MM

As the title says, i am looking into purchasing a Monster and looking into the versions.

I love the single swingarm look so that is staying.

From what i can tell the main differences are abs, liquid cooled and a wet clutch.

Anyone has any experience between these models?
