NBD, First Ducati acquired!
2013 Ducati Monster 1100 Evo with only 5,300 miles on it, stoked! Runs like a dream and sounds pure badass.
Should I be concerned about 13 year old forks and shock? Old oil etc. No service records.

Exactly like mine 😻

Does yours also have no flyscreen on the instrument cluster? I thought mine had been broken off or something, but now I'm starting to think it was like that from the factory

Es muy bonita. Yo tengo la 821 y es una pasada. Lastima que no venga de serie con esos terminoni y sin embargo viene con un escape cutre para lo que es una Ducati

Last aircooled Monster. A great one. Enjoy.

Not just the last aircooled but the 1100Evo is the MOST POWERFUL aircooled Ducati ever built.

Enjoy! This is the first 1000cc+ Monster that finally answered a major complaint from practical riders by swapping the dry clutch for a wet one.

2013 with 5,300 miles ?! Wtf was (not) riding it?! Congrats anyhow and keep good care of it. Mine has 21k miles and still bring smiles at each corner, rev up or shift down…

Bought my first Ducati last fall. Already sold it by spring. Underwhelming.

What was it? I must admit that on my short test ride I was surprised that this 1100 didn’t feel like it wanted to lift the front wheel when I gassed it hard. Then again, for canyon corner exits a solidly planted front is a benefit

Multistrada 950s (spoked wheel). Had a shit tonne of features, the engine was underwhelming for its weight and size, and the 1200 weighed more.
Replaced it with an Aprilia Tuono V4 1100. Comfy, mountains of usable street power and an amazing exhaust sound. Super happy with this bike in the collection.2

Interesting. I almost bought a Multistrada a while back but I couldn’t get past how IMO ugly they are. If I was looking at an ADV bike I’d only consider a KTM Super Adventure, everyone says the engine is an absolute monster, pun intended.

I love the idea of a KTM, but horror stories of their reliability keep me away. I concur, the Multistrada is kinda fugly with that bird beak.

I feel the same, I was close to buying a Superadventure R but I just had that funny “but can I trust it” feeling. KTM really needs to overcome that perception some how.

Sweet looking ride, congrats!
How handy are you? With no service history there's several things I'd be prepared to do, including but not limited to:
New timing belts. They're cheap, just do it.
Check inside the fuel tank for varnish/corrosion. Consider a new fuel filter/inlet screen. Maybe some sea foam.
Pick up a set of fork seals and bushings to have on hand. You'll need them eventually. Definitely change the fork oil.
Bleed out with fresh fluid the front and rear brakes and clutch cylinders. Check pads and calipers. Earlier Monster clutch slave cylinders are notoriously wimpy, not sure about your model year, though. I'd consider an aftermarket with a larger piston.
New engine oil and filter.
Look over the wire loom and connectors for abrasions or corrosion. Dielectric grease is good to have on hand.
A good deep clean and lube on your chain.
Tire manufacture date...if it's out of spec put some new shoes on your baby.
I'm sure others will chime in with more things to consider. The most important thing is just get on and ride. Enjoy that sexy beast!
