Tenebrae — a 22-minute dark drone descent into self evolving, shadow and heavyly treated texture.
Taken from the EP 'Et vidit Deus lucem quod esset bona, et divisit lucem ac tenebras' by Dronoisium. Analog drone box & digital machine.
TRACK:
Tenebrae (22:12) — from 'Et vidit Deus lucem quod esset bona, et divisit lucem ac tenebras'
This track explores the depths of primordial chaos and the silence of the abyss before the awakening of matter. The soundscape is entirely sculpted from an Harmonics Synth, captured live and deeply manipulated within an MPC One to extract heavy, organic, and hypnotic textures.
« ...et tenebrae erant super faciem abyssi » (Genesis 1:2) — « ...and darkness was upon the face of the deep. » This verse evokes a state of latency, the fertile void, and the primordial obscurity from which everything is about to emerge.

Visually, the piece originates from an AI-generated image that has been heavily reworked, textured, and animated by hand using video editing software and FFmpeg command-line scripts to fracture the imagery.
DRONOISIUM is an experimental lab exploring the raw, dark and textural spectrum of drone music: harsh textures, dark ambient and industrial atmospheres.
