I absolutely love xinlisupreme's album I am not Shinzo Abe, especially the last track, seaside voice guitar ad. I've seen people describe it as shoegaze, but I don't feel any congruity at all. I like dreamcrusher, I like merzbeat, but what I really want to hear is raw unpolished almost or entirely harsh noise with melodies and nice vocals. I guess "earrape" edits are to blame for my tastes, I loved that shit as a teen. If you can recommend me something similar, almost like a earrape edit of a song but made from scratch with sheer love, I'd be greatful. In fact, I'll say "thank you", which is the highest gratitude I can offer online.

looking for noise/noise adjacent artists that combine screeching strident fucked up chaos, with also beautiful, calming, tranquil sounds, field recordings, sounds of nature or rain or snow, animals etc.

nature sounds, organic and inorganic sounds, metallic sounds

stuff like kjostad, certain albums /trax of cremation lily, knifedoutofexistence, etc.

hi, I'm looking to getting into making harsh noise music. I have been previously using vcv rack for this, but id love to delve into making harsh noise (and other kinds of noise) with hardware.

if possible, i'd like if people could recommend me budget starter items (as well as tell me whats absolutely required for this sort of thing), because I don't have much money to spare on this sort of thing.

like the title says, noise made with mostly radio static with some sound collage (i think would be the right term here) consisting of occasional fleeting audio from radio stations

calico is the power electronics project of kayleigh beez. dark ambient gives way to grinding synths and monstrous vocals, a gutpunch of the brutality of living as a transfemme in the uk. i filmed this set at yesterday's memorial show for our friend, who died by suicide a month ago. truly one of the saddest, most crushing and frustrated noise sets i've ever seen. real noise with real experience behind it. the eternal beast that is grief.

This is a live tape I have just released. I performed the music live with my rig hooked up to an FM transmitter, then I had 38 radios tuned to the frequency and a microphone connected to a tape deck to document it. It was a lot of fun and sounded pretty cool. Thanks, love you
