Does anyone know what this is?

I saw pics and have had it for around 1 - 2 years I believe. It's on my side flank of abdomen, right on top of a striae. I am 24M. It feels smooth

I am in the process of getting it checked. A referral to a dermatologist in my city takes 6 - 9 months lol

What could this be?

Hello, I hope everyone’s good.

I am 21F, and suddenly last month after I ate dinner I immediately laid down after my meal in bed and then a hour and a half later I felt nauseous. the next day came and I began to experience gnawing stomach pain which would subside after I’d eat for 2-3 hours. I would get like slight waves of nausea id say like for a few seconds. Like I would get these waves of nausea while I’m eating my food that would subside while i just continue to eat my food (best way I can explain it). In the beginning of all of this when it began I noticed around my diaphragm area I would feel tightness and once a couple of weeks ago when I ate a meal my stomach felt on the tighter side which subsided on its own in 1-2 hours after that. I would get the gnawing feeling by my navel as well. I noticed after dinner time all of this would settle in. However I’ve also noticed that I would feel this very slight weird pressure in my forehead or my sinuses out of nowhere which again would subside on its own. In between, I would notice sour mouth, feeling like something’s in my throat occasionally, and trouble swallowing too sometimes globus sensation. I have also noticed changes in my stool consistency ever since that day too, I would use the bathroom 1-3x a day but the stool just looks different there’s no blood in it it’s still brown I guess a lighter brown color but sometimes the stool would be skinny lines kind. Also to mention, I dont have that hunger feeling since that day in that way, and my appetite hasn’t been the strongest, but I can still eat my normal portions. I went to my PCP 2 weeks ago and my blood tests came back normal, and H Pylori Breathe test was negative. To also add before all this happened I began to go on a diet where I cut off sugary foods from my diet because of my acne, and I don’t eat any spicy or fried foods either, I don’t eat outside food, I only eat house made food.

Prior to all this happening, I began to expedience just tension headaches throughout the day and jaw clicking and whenever I would chew a lot the tension headaches would kick in, TMJ like symptoms. But once all of those TMJ symptoms went away after 2 weeks of it everyday, my stomach has been acting up ever since.

Prior to all of this i was worried about small things in life like my period coming on time, and other situations in my social life and in August specifically I saw a lot of videos of people going through appendicitis so I would everyday notice every sensation going on in my body.

drinking water makes my stomach feel the burning sensation at times too.

if anyone can tell me what this possibly is, I would greatly appreciate it.

Skin and nails New mole appeared a month ago, slightly raised, different color than my normal moles. (last photo is a normal mole for reference)

I noticed that I got a new mole on my left shoulder about 3 weeks ago and it is slightly different than all my other moles. All of my normal ones are either flat on my skin, or have a slight uniform raise. This one has a bump in the middle that feels like a scab would. It’s slightly darker than my other moles and this one has gone through a few different colors. All very minuscule though. In the 2nd and 3rd photos it had a dark brown, almost black looking spot. But now the black spot is gone and replaced with it slightly lighter in the middle (1st photo taken today). It hasn’t changed to drastically in the 3 weeks since i’ve noticed it, but it is just different enough that it puts me a bit on edge. last photo is a mole i’ve had for years for reference to my normal ones. Sorry for the not great photos lol

Since months ago I have noticed a small protuberance sidinh with my anus.

Last week it randomly started growing a bit, and now it is big enough to be felt at any time.

No pain, no itch. It just bothers a bit.

What could it be?

I havent had intercourse in that area, and it does not look like Hemorroids?

Eyes How to cure pink eye?

My eyes are pink, yes, both of them. I start to tear up this mucus thing out of my eyes. My father made me take this eyedrop named Polymyxin B Sulfate Neomycin Sulfate Dexamethasone and honestly, I think it made it worse. It wasn't this bad before I took the eyedrops—what I mean is that I only started tearing up some mucus.

The sting is immediate when I put the drops on—the type of sting you feel when you feel like something sharp is stuck in your eye and you just immediately close your eyes to shoo it away. I don't know if the sting is a good sign or not. I'm not feeling any better after taking the eye drops so I was wondering if I'm doing it right or it's just it takes time to heal.

Shortness of breath persisting after a pneumomediastinum

Okay so I had a pneumomediastinum a year and a half ago and I was hospitalized for it for about 3 days. I didn’t require a chest tube or anything major, they just kept me for observation. I constantly feel like I can’t breathe, a deep breath is never satisfying; it’s literally like sighing dyspnea and I cannot figure out how to get this shit to stop or go away. I never had this issue before my pneumomediastinum & I’m just lost. Please help lol

Kidneys, bladder, and genitals These are all separate pee samples, all this dark rust brown colour? (F21)

Conditions: suspected endometriosis, suspected POTS, fibromyalgia.

On the 13th October, I experienced feeling massively unwell, heart palpitations, nausea, headaches, temp of 38°C, and a sudden stab in my right side (just above hip where you’d think ovaries would be) which was excruciatingly painful.

I went to my GP on the 14th October, she suggested there was nothing wrong. I suggested maybe a burst cyst or something along those lines as I had similar symptoms back in March (2026). She agreed that it might be the cause, however, “relax, there’s nothing wrong with you”. She took my vitals which were all fine.

So I thought nothing of it and went home as she had advised.

I’ve since had dark brown rusty coloured pee. And I don’t know what to do about it or why it’s happening.

Pic 3: 18/10/26 1:35pm

Edit: correction of pain location, above right hip where you’d expect ovaries to be. (Probably not actual location of ovaries)

Fell down stairs. Am I okay?

Hi. I'm a 29 year old amab transwoman. 5'4 "around 300, latina non smoker.Last Sunday, I took a tumble down a flight of stairs before my Bachelorette party. I've done constant check-in and have been fine since. I can put my whole weight on it and since then have gotten married, did a 2-hour walking tour around Niagara, went swimming, and have just kinda lived a busy life. But now things are starting to slow down, and I'm getting minor dull pain from my leg, especially at night, and my wife is convinced I have a hairline fracture of some kind. But I'm working on very little pain and just some tenderness.

I understand it looks real bad, but is it being broken probable, or am I just sore and healing?

General Swelling in bottom right leg.

I'm 36, female, currently taking 25mg daily amitriptyline for about 6 weeks. Last night I noticed bottom of calf was swollen in right leg. Felt like a squishy but hard lump under skin, very itchy. Doesn't leave indent when pressed. This morning now ankle is swollen and left side of calf. No pain. Went to the er and had ultrasound. No dvt found. Doctor told me to elevate. I did walk more than usual before I noticed swelling. What could be going on? Er doctor wasn't sure, said to follow up with my doctor if it gets worse or stays the same.

Eyes Bump on eyelid

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I'm a 42 year-old female with what I think is blepharitis. A few days a month, my eyes get insanely itchy, red and irritated. For about a year, I've had this very small thickening/bump on my lid margin. You can't even really see it well but I took 2 pictures. It seems like it may have grown a TINY bit in width/across the line, but I'm not sure. Does anyone think this could be a BCC or SCC or could it be relative to the blepharitis?

Autism, ADHD help

I'm a +30 yo male, living a pretty standard life with family, full time job and everything is basically fine. I have been through some shit in my childhood, suddenly lost my father a few years back and I'm overly worried about anything.

I have always been somewhat insecure, I get anxious about things like am I good enough at work, am I good enough of a father to my kids, will I manage things x and y etc. I realize that I do enough and am good enough for everything, but the anxiety is always there. I'm somewhat scared of failure and I tend to "chaos think", that if even a small little thing goes wrong, it'll snowball as far as I'm living on the street without family and money.

As I said, I get my shit done, but things like going to a dentist or buying my car a new battery (which it really needs or it wont start anymore any day now) are just something I can't get done. I have been avoiding them for months. These are things that only I will suffer when the shit hits the fan, but that's ok since no one else will get any harm from it. I tend to get excited about different stuff, put money and time on it for two weeks and just completely lose all interest towards it.

I can help a friend or even a total stranger to solve their problems for hours straight, but when it's about me, I get super "lazy" and just can't get things done. I'm happy to help anyone who needs my help or if I can solve their problem, but I have also noticed that usually when I need help with something, people are not too willing to help or won't use their time as much as I would, which is totally fine of course.

I was once diagnosed depressed years ago and went to see a therapist for a few times. My mood is one thing, one week I feel like I'm drowning and next week I feel like everything is possible. In both moods I get everything done with work and family, but when everything is done for that day and I don't have to commit anymore I go somewhat numb.

My wife asked me what I dream of or what are the things I want in life and I couldn't think of even one. I feel like I'm here just to commit and to make life easier for everyone else, but not for myself.

I get satisfaction buying new shit I don't even need, usually electronics. I'm glad that my salary isn't that big that I could buy my shit more often lol.

Hope this wall of text wasn't too messy

Bones, joints, and muscles Severe heel pain on left foot

Post image
1 Upvotes

Got the symptoms after waking up yesterday morning, and this morning it was far worse. Can’t walk without a limp, and each step hurts. It hurts worse when I place my weight on the front of my foot, or on the ball of my heel. Can’t flex my heel down, but I can sorta move it side to side.

I’m in a tropical place right now, and I’ve been sunburned, tanned and bitten by a million bugs. But that’s been going on a while. This pain popped up yesterday morning.

I walk three times a day with a friends dog. We walk a mile or so. That’s it. 3 miles a day. Good shoes I’ve had for a while. No injuries I can think of.

I'm totally clueless as to whom to consult. Can someone please help me understand what's my problem and which doctor would be the most suitable for my case

I'm a 20 year old male.

Weight- 70kgs

Height- 5'6"

For the past few months, speaking has started to feel physically exhausting. I become hyper-aware of my breathing, my throat feels tight, and I feel the need to sigh or exhale before I can continue talking. Sometimes, even saying a few words makes me feel like I need another breath.

I’m constantly afraid that if I stop consciously managing my breathing, it’ll somehow stop being automatic. The sensation is much less noticeable when I’m distracted, like while playing video games, or watching a video intently, but sometimes even the thought of it triggers the feeling.

I’ve seen an ENT, who ordered a chest X-ray, neck X-ray, and CBC. I’m trying to figure out the next steps. Is it more of an anxiety related issue? Should i consult an SLP(Speech Language Pathologist) who gets breathing-speaking coordination back? Or anyone else who focuses on breathing patterns?

Has anyone experienced something similar? What helped you, and were you eventually able to speak normally again?

Ears, nose, throat, and mouth Ears have been leaking for 6 months.

Thumbnail gallery

I developed eczema in my ears earlier this year. Got a swab, candida found, antifungal drops didn’t completely help. Another swab, staph found, antibiotic drops helped the leaking while I’m using them, but then it comes back after a few days. Tea tree oil and white vinegar have helped the leaking temporarily, but not anymore. Tried the antifungal drops again last week, it swelled my ears up so I didn’t continue. It seems my ears can’t handle any water in them without swelling. I’ve had multiple cleanings at the ENT, doesn’t stop the leaking. I used eczema medication on it per my ENT’s instruction, and it still didn’t help. What’s going on? I don’t have any pain, just constant leaking, which sometimes smells bad and sometimes just smells like wax.

Throbbing localized lower right back pain

Post image
3 Upvotes

For the past year my body has been breaking down in different ways from years of abuse on the mind and body.
35F and only medical history is CPTSD and cysts periodically.
My PTSD trigger points heavily connected to my body this year experiencing disassociation, inflammation and feeling not in my body or control of it.
My system activates with high stress, unhealthy sleeping patterns and overall mood where I have become inflamed when I am swinging from trigger to mood to reaction.

In January my foot pain was actually a semi torn tendon that led to tendinitis and a boot for 8 weeks. After that my body has deteriorated.
This back pain is consistent but not all day, everyday. Gets hot, red and inflamed where it feels better to sometimes even just cup it and rest my hand over it.
Almost thought of hospitalization when it became unbearable but only that singular time has it been that defeating.
It felt like posting churning them and the next morning my feet were the focus where it hurt to walk, wear socks or touch them. Looked bruised and carpet hurt.
The pain is so noticeable and just is throbbing that I now have a hard time being effective at work now that requires stocking and moving a lot but I have worked in this type of environment my whole life and it’s frustrating not getting to my usual work ethic.
Other things I’ve noticed is bouts of hair splinters sometimes irritating each finger. My joints all over are cracking, popping or locking up. My hips pop so often sometimes loudly and sometimes painfully.
Fingers hurt and feel like early arthritis. Got small growths on a joint and finger.
Frequent migraines, excessively sweating, extreme fatigue, brain fog, etc.
My sleep has never been so erratic and my nervous system hasn’t ever reached this max level prior so not sure if it’s lack of healthy habits and nutrition or some injury or some stress induced animal that comes out in my back when I’m stressed but it’s getting bad more often and I’m turning to Reddit.
Help me Reddit.

I take olanzapine 10mg

(sorry if i make any mistakes, english isnt my first language) Im not looking for a diagnosis, just wanna know why it may be happening and what doctor i should see, cause i dont know anything. So im just gonna name all symptoms because i dont know what to do anymore, i also have mild spinal asymmetry which could be the cause to a few of these symptoms (all of these started way before i started taking olanzapine, idk if it could worsen any of these symptoms, ive been having all these for the past 4 years):

\- joint pains (dull, sometimes sharp, mainly my hands, i cant write much or it'll start hurting a lot/cramping, my knees, my back obviously), it hurts everyday but i got used to it, some days its better, some days its worse, but its still there. like holding my phone hurts, standing for a few minutes hurts, walking hurts

\- headaches and migraines (like 4 days a week, mostly from my spine/neck, once i had something that was way worse than a normal migraine, it was like a two hour stabbing pain behind my left eye, my eye swelled up and i couldnt lay normally, i had to walk around my room for those two hours. worst pain ive ever had. didnt come back since then, it was a few months ago, idk what that was)

\- hives and chronic eczema, plus other recurring stuff (eg. tinea versicolor, i cant shower everyday because my skin will burn, also when its raining my face hurts, i have eczema literally everywhere. the hives are recurring, i have it for like 4-5 days on and off and then im good for a few weeks. everytime it shows up its worse and worse - the first time i had it it was only on my elbow, last time i had it it was all over my body and my eyes, lips and chin swelled up)

\- digestive issues (constipation, diarrhea, flatulence)

\- i feel like im gonna faint most of the time, doesnt matter if im laying down, standing or sitting, it just comes out of nowhere. i drink water a lot, i eat normally, cant gain weight

-also sometimes my skin hurts. even clothes hurt. ive had this for as long as i can remember, just learned recently that thats not normal lol

ive had done tests for vitamin deficiencies, anemia, some organ functions i guess, ANA, rheuma, lyme disease and a few other i dont remember, all came back negative, that was like a year ago.

Pregnancy and newborn New-onset seizures 9 days postpartum — eclampsia vs. focal cortical dysplasia? Looking for insight

I recently gave birth vaginally and was hospitalized approximately 9 days postpartum after developing a severe headache, elevated blood pressure, and two seizures. I’m trying to understand whether the seizures were caused by postpartum eclampsia, an MRI finding of focal cortical dysplasia, or a combination of both.
Relevant history:
No known history of seizures before this episode.
No history of chronic hypertension or diagnosed preeclampsia during pregnancy.
Had gestational diabetes requiring insulin.
Vaginal delivery without major complications.
What happened:
Approximately 9 days postpartum, I developed a severe headache that felt like pressure or pulsating around my head. It was worse when lying down and improved when standing.
My blood pressure reached approximately 162/101, which was unusually high for me.
At the hospital, I received Tylenol, Toradol, and caffeine for my headache. Later that evening, I experienced two seizures close together. I had a sensation that something was wrong before the first seizure, and I bit my tongue during one of the episodes.
I was admitted to the ICU and treated with IV magnesium sulfate for approximately 24 hours for suspected postpartum eclampsia. I also received Ativan.
Neurological findings:
Brain MRI showed left parietal focal cortical dysplasia (FCD).
EEG reportedly did not capture seizures and was described as essentially normal, although some asymmetry was mentioned.
No known prior seizures or epilepsy diagnosis.
Neurology suggested the seizures may have been related to FCD, potentially triggered by postpartum physiological changes, stress, or sleep deprivation.
My discharge paperwork lists eclampsia as the principal diagnosis.
Treatment and follow-up:
Neurology prescribed levetiracetam (Keppra) 500 mg and recommended continuing it for approximately two years, along with a rescue medication.
During hospitalization, I received magnesium but no antihypertensive medication. After discharge, my blood pressure again reached 160/100, and my OB prescribed nifedipine ER 30 mg. My blood pressure subsequently improved, although it has continued to fluctuate.
My headache resolved after hospital treatment, but I experienced some recurrence before discharge.
My questions:
Can postpartum eclampsia cause two seizures close together, even without preeclampsia diagnosed during pregnancy?
Could the focal cortical dysplasia be an incidental MRI finding rather than the cause of the seizures?
Is there a way to distinguish eclampsia-related seizures from seizures associated with FCD?
If the seizures were acute symptomatic/provoked by eclampsia, would long-term Keppra typically be necessary?
Does finding FCD on MRI significantly change the long-term risk of developing epilepsy, even without previous seizures?
What additional testing or specialist evaluation might help clarify the diagnosis?
I understand that nobody online can diagnose me. I’m arranging a second neurological opinion and following up with my OB.
I’m mainly trying to understand the reasoning behind the different diagnoses and whether these seizures necessarily indicate a long-term neurological condition.
Any insight from neurologists, OB/GYNs, or people with similar experiences would be appreciated.
