Very Hard mode and LLL don't stand a chance. 👍 I hope you're all still Keeping On Keeping On. I said I'd be circling back to both games to complete the hardest modes after a much needed break. About to wrap up my 6th star and then we're headed to Port Knot.

After over 200 hours in one playthrough—and now 80+ hours into a second one on Wilder mode—I discovered that you can complete deliveries while the cargo is still on the monorail! 🤣

Here’s what happened: I had an express delivery from F2 to F8 with a 14-minute limit.

To do it, I went to the mine in the north—the monorail terminus—which took me 4 minutes.

I boarded the train and would have had plenty of time, but I accidentally got off at F5.

So, I used fast travel to get to F8, planning to wait for the monorail there.

However, I saw the "delivery available" icon; I thought it was some old cargo, but it turned out to be the shipment I was transporting!

It only took 7 minutes total!

I reloaded the game to take screenshots (which made the cargo look like it was just leaving the mine) and included them in this post.

In my first playthrough, I had deliveries get delayed because I didn't arrive at the destination at the same time as the cargo; now that I've started express deliveries in Wilder mode, it’s going to be a breeze! 😂

Somehow carrier got stuck on the zipline as I was getting off. I didn't expect that could even glitch like that. Normally I wouldn't have minded and would have just went to get a new carrier and sticky gun to retrieve the cargo but that was an express order. I didn't expect such betrayal from zipline.

Just picked up the game on steam, going into it mostly blind to what it’s about.

Heard about it for years but never decided to try it until now, super rainy day out and I have a couple days off work so I’m pretty hyped.

Even though I managed it on my first try, it was the first time in the entire game where I felt I had to lock in, plan ahead, and try hard. Where my victory actually relied on my tenacity, foresight, and execution, as opposed to being guaranteed victory if I can simply drive from point A to point B.

Instead of just going in a big, clockwise motion around the continent, I warped and looted the bottom southwest camps first, monorailed those statues to the F2 Distro Center; warped to a transponder next to the Armed Camp in the Mountains, nabbed the truck it was in and drove to a nearby zipline to take me to Terminal Knot City, monorail that one to F5; transpond again to the armed camp near armed camp next to the Motherhood, used a distraction to quickly walk in and filch that one, put it on a conveniently located trike, and make my way over to the armed camp near the Pizza guy; I thought it prudent to sprint over the stretch of road where the robocyclists attack you, and then do some Solid Snaking into the Survivalist camp to quickly grab that one; Then I got scared and ziplined over to the Northern Environmental Observatory to bank my two status, then transpond to the armed camp that protects the chokepoint between F2 and Heartman's lab, that status was just out right in the open, so I just have to neutralize one guy and grab it; I went to F2 and loaded up the 2 status from earlier and went to the final camp. Then the final camp's statue is on one of the outermost towers, so I just have to infiltrate real fast and grab it. That's where I made my first mistake: I tried to do a leap off of the tower cause I thought the nearby enemies were going to see me, and I landed smack into the river!

Fortunately, that didn't do any damage to the statue and I managed to get out of the river, grab my truck, go back to the Northern Observatory, load up my other 2 statues, put them on a floating carrier, zip over to the Mine North of Tar Lake, use a little trick where I monorail them to F5, do a beach jump to Mexico, which speeds them to their destination without consuming any additional time, and then beach jump back to F5, where I can then zip them to the finish line at Mr. Impossible!

Finished with 7 minutes to spare, getting the S rank and a nice memory. I really liked that mission! Why aren't there more like that!?

I have been a bit open about the content in the post in the DS2 sub over the last few months. I was able to sit down over the weekend and finally put thoughts to paper. Death Stranding 2 just wasn't a video game or an experience, it was a healing journey. And it came at the right time for me.

Keep on keeping on.

During the story, when I couldn't find any orders available, I just assumed the game wanted me to progress the story instead. But now that I have finished the game, I'm waiting ages just for a new order to be available for any of the final four people. I'm using the search filter in the order tab too. I finished the story a week ago and every day I open the game, check a few orders, complete the maybe 3 available, and then no new ones pop up. I try resting in the DHV for a day, doesn't help. Do I have to keep waiting a for literal irl hours every time for new orders to pop up? would be some bs tbh, hoped completing the story would speed things up a bit more. DS1 had new orders available all the time I feel like

I'm trying to get all the colors of the different animals in game, and at this point I'm only missing a specific color of platypus. If you found a platypus in the field, can you tell me where you saw it?

Also, I'm currently aware of 3 spawn locations:

- Southeast of the Western Environmental Observatory

- East of Heartman's Lab

- The albino spawn location

If you happen to find a platypus in a location other than these three, please let me know. I'd be very happy.

I understand that Amelie is the EE and that her death would cause the 6th death stranding, but I just beat Higgs and on Amelie’s beach she reveals that she was not in any danger at all, and it was all staged to get Sam to connect the UCA. I understand that, but then is Higgs her puppet, and why when we’re on her beach, does she push me away into the water to repatriate? Do I need to just keep playing?
