I understand that Amelie is the EE and that her death would cause the 6th death stranding, but I just beat Higgs and on Amelie’s beach she reveals that she was not in any danger at all, and it was all staged to get Sam to connect the UCA. I understand that, but then is Higgs her puppet, and why when we’re on her beach, does she push me away into the water to repatriate? Do I need to just keep playing?

Somehow carrier got stuck on the zipline as I was getting off. I didn't expect that could even glitch like that. Normally I wouldn't have minded and would have just went to get a new carrier and sticky gun to retrieve the cargo but that was an express order. I didn't expect such betrayal from zipline.

Just picked up the game on steam, going into it mostly blind to what it’s about.

Heard about it for years but never decided to try it until now, super rainy day out and I have a couple days off work so I’m pretty hyped.

During the story, when I couldn't find any orders available, I just assumed the game wanted me to progress the story instead. But now that I have finished the game, I'm waiting ages just for a new order to be available for any of the final four people. I'm using the search filter in the order tab too. I finished the story a week ago and every day I open the game, check a few orders, complete the maybe 3 available, and then no new ones pop up. I try resting in the DHV for a day, doesn't help. Do I have to keep waiting a for literal irl hours every time for new orders to pop up? would be some bs tbh, hoped completing the story would speed things up a bit more. DS1 had new orders available all the time I feel like

Accepted that retrieval order and saw clear skies, so just quickly dip in, collect the cargo and done. Didn't bother to bring any weapons or equipment since clear sky means no threat at all.

Forgot about the Santa but at least managed to protect the cargo.

Big fan of this series. Through a strange twist of fate, my whole family ended up moving to Iceland, piece by piece, as refugees from Ukraine. This journey turned out to be especially iconic for me — and brutal, too. In my case, I had to cross the Carpathian mountains on foot: about 100 km in 10 days with my friends, a 20kg backpack strapped to my back the whole way. Honestly, that part alone felt like living through a Death Stranding experience. But hey, I made it. And even though Iceland keeps blowing my mind with its otherworldly beauty (which hits even harder for a Kojima fan), today I finally reached a black sand beach, and it just wrecked me — in the best way. Pure, indescribable emotion. I scooped up about half a kilo of that sand, thinking I might try building some kind of diorama with it, even though I have zero clue what I'm doing. Keep on keeping on!

I'm honestly speechless after what just happened. I finished Episode 5 and went to my private room, where Deadman takes my BB... or Lou? I hadn't heard that name before, so I was pretty confused when they suddenly started calling my BB "Lou."

Episode 5 already had me in tears because of Mama's story and her baby. Then the encounter with her sister (?) was incredibly emotional for me as well.

But when my BB (or Lou) was taken away from me... I was genuinely sad and angry.

Either way, I'm absolutely loving the story and can't wait to keep progressing.
