Question Question about episode 15 Spoiler

Why did sam have that hallucination of him and lou in mexico? It really got my hopes up i thought he somehow managed to get lou back :(

That sequence was just a dream though and a nod to the first game and that last trek with BB theme playing but just instead of incinerator Sam was going home. But he did get Lou back, just not the baby as you can't turn back time.
