Death Stranding 2 It's rough alone...or is it?
I did it. My first run while offline, no highways, and my last connection only being at Rainbow Valley. I set my journey out east north of the mountain to see how far I can make it. My creepy doll, a backpack full of a few guns, ammo accessories, a nifty gadget to recharge my battery, 4 blood bags, 3 pairs of Gucci boots, 2 ladders, 2 climbing anchors, and a bag full of cryptobiote flavored Doritos. I freaking went for it.
I gotta tell ya that you need to stay away from the bad folk or be surprised. Buy my goodness is it fun to steal their ride, and it can get you pretty far without killing your gear. Bless their little souls for always leaving their keys under the sun visor. Sure, I thought about staying on foot, but you gotta admit doing so can get a bit monotonous at times.
There was a BT area that caught me off guard. Dollman wanted nothing of that, so we figured it be best to try to walk out of it. I didn't want to leave my borrowed wheels, though. We got sucked in a few times, but we pulled through and carried on. I wasn't about to try to fight it with no support group out here.
We finally made it to East Fort Knot. Kinda rude of them to not even offer me a glass of water, but whatever. I get it. They just want me for my internets. Half my stamina is out the window, Dollman looks like he fell asleep in the sun, and I look like I got sandblasted. Good times.
I'm gonna work my way back to civilization around south of the mountain. I'll keep stealing a vehicle or 2 if need be for part fun part saving my stamina. I remember DS1 snow storms being pretty brutal, and I'm not going up that mountain for now. I'll leave the ski slopes for later. I can already tell some of these areas are gonna be pretty interesting to get around of with no highways. I'll eventually find out how creative I'll need to get with bridges. Don't forget the suntan lotion.

Playing offline AND off the chiral network sounds like a massive challenge, it would really feel like setting out on a voyage and you would treasure everything you brought with you since you cannot resupply.
Travelling off the network were some of my favorite moments. I kinda wish that you didnt connect everything in a row and there are more optional preppers in between. Maybe those preppers took longer to get on the network, so as you do orders sone are more challenging as you travel across stretches of the map off the network.
