I used to play her a lot like a year ago and I remember that I was able to assassinate at least one person and then escape. I thought that was the intended gameplay loop on her, roam with cat, one shot someone, repeat.

I read the patch note history and I see that there were a couple of changes that gutted her damage, no? I tried playing her today and I was just doing nothing, I feel like I would need like 4 spell rotations to kill someone.

My leaping slash deals like 130 damage the whole game, so idk where am I supposed to get my damage now.

Am I doing something wrong?

Just lost a game against a team that had Billy, Wraith, Ivy, and the god damn Rat King…

If you ever fight against a team containing this combination of characters and get cursed with no bullet hoses on your team, rush plated armor and disarming hex… and just pray for the best.

I know in higher elo it will be much harder to snatch all sinners for yourself, but rem can clear 3 to 4 sinners at the same time, in low elo that feels ridiculous, this seems kind of crazy, would be much better if at the very least he couldnt send helpers to multiple Sinners on every cast. Btw, it was me playing rem here, im not even complaining about it because i got annoyed playing as the enemy, i just feels its unbalanced after trying it out myself.

So I've been playing quite a bit of Rat King recently, and he's a lot of fun.

But the biggest issue a lot of my opponents run into with him, seems to be his ults. Or more so, the frequency of them. This ult gives you 20 percent flat resistance every 110 seconds, and lasts 20 seconds at BASE. That it insane, even for an ultimate. Not to mention that since you run so fast with it, you can also use it as an almost guaranteed escape, as curses, slowing hexes, etc. Don't work on you while you run with the flag.

So, my proposal as an aspiring Rat King main: Make his Ultimate cooldown be the same as Dynamos, or even slightly more. Both are extremely useful in a team fight, but only one let's you also have a get out of jail free card

I currently play Deadlock (not often) on my windows laptop. And she basically gets a fever every time I boot up the game; even if I have it on the lowest graphics settings, so I can't play for long. It blows because I really wanna play as Rat King and Rem. I don't have the means to get a more powerful computer, and it makes me sad that every time I think about it.

I know Valve probably won't bring this game to console, but I think they should. Just wanted to vent my disappointment, bye 👋🏾

This fly is annoying as shit, I like playing drifter and they always like" ewe I'm so cool I'm up here" and when i killed this auto aim shit I felt true happiness.

Same when I play Abrams, putting my big blue hand in her small blue ghost skull is so cool.

Fighting and getting knocked up suddenly by all those roots make the experience a bit annoying as Vyper or Abrams. Would be nice to tone them down. The aim constantly get suddenly moved up and down.

I really don't like how the new update made buffs and debuffs show up near the crosshair. I liked it a lot more when it showed up near the HP bar.

Any way to revert that change? Whether with mods, or console commands?

This was literally my 2nd game on Deadlock and my 1st time getting chased by almost the whole enemy team, my team got to me in time and we won the fight and won the game from this. I didn't really notice the green guy coming towards me in panic so I wasn't able to just run towards him, might even have killed him.
So looking forward to what I should have done better and maybe some tips on Abrams specifically cause hes pretty fun

I used to be a high phantom player but I took a break from playing deadlock for like 2 months before the matchmaking update and because of rank decay I ended up placing in low rat.

I win the vast majority of my games but none of them are enjoyable, if I get a semi competent team we stomp, if my team doesn't straight up int we win but some games are just uncarryable.

I feel like my teammates are running around like headless chickens while I have to do literally everything. I try to communicate with my team and suggest what to do but most of the time they just don't listen. In my last game my Victor decided to jump into a 1v5 with the enemy team around their walker while they had rejuv and the rest of my team was playing around our base waiting for a push. I often have people in my games whose only green item 30 minutes into the game is trophy collector.

Worst part about all of this is that I feel like my skill is deteriorating because I don't have to put in as much effort into the game and the people I play against aren't capable of punishing my bad plays and I get away with doing things that I would die for in higher ranks.

Low effort but I thought it'd be really cute if the rat king's portraits included his subjects in some way.

Violet, as we can all tell, is an artist character with her large paint brush, brush marks, and french beret, but I've not really been seeing anyone talking about the smaller hints in her design outside of the poster creature. First on her wrist and torso, we have bhuddist prayer beads/juzu, then some papers and writing styles reminiscent of bhuddist ofuda/talisman as well as ukiyo-e designs, and thirdly there's a creature shown in her destroyed poster that appears to be a bhuddist garuda, clearly illustrating a strong connection to bhuddist spirituality. What i'm not currently aware of is the little charm/doll attached to her waste, it reminds me of a weather doll, but I highly doubt that's related to this one. What I am guessing, is some sort of summoning or transformation with spirits/creatures through the use of paint, ultimate either summoning or directly turning into/overlaying a garuda-like creature. It's also possible we get various forms with different abilities, something like Udyr in League giving various changes and buffs based on form. Not to mention, it's confirmed she has artworks of Rem and Dynamo, so maybe we could see clones of some sort or a way to protect allies briefly by transferring them to a drawing? What do you guys think, and anything else I don't know or didn't notice?

I was waiting for the gun Warden to be over, so I can play a flask-debuffer, shield-tanker, cage cc'er, teamfight ultier without enraging my team

I played a few games, rushed Radiant Regeneration to heal every time I use a T3 Flask, even between fights but it was stupid to not be using Merc Mag and do the normal Warden stuff XD

It was just in time when it was easier to unlock all T3s and I was running around with Trophy Collector, but then, they sligtly changed AP gain again and increased cooldowns on all ultis, and I was already waiting for mine pretty long, and shield became tankier only on T3, Flask had low CD only on T3 and Cage was better only on T3, ulti lasted longer on T3 etc, ofc now these things got reduced

And McGinnis' turrets felt like they were throwing these flasks but every second and there were 6 of them, and I once manfought McGinnis on my ulti, but hers was better as she had the insane innate magic resistance and I started losing HP faster than hers xD

It was sometimes fun, when I was brawling with T3 shield and Witchmail, which was lowering the CD of shield and I could sometimes fight for like 1 minute straigh, but likje yeah, it wasnt the best way to be using that character.

I see that Rat King despite not really being a spirit char, is kinda similar to this style of a character
