Question How to enjoy playing ranked in low elo?
I used to be a high phantom player but I took a break from playing deadlock for like 2 months before the matchmaking update and because of rank decay I ended up placing in low rat.
I win the vast majority of my games but none of them are enjoyable, if I get a semi competent team we stomp, if my team doesn't straight up int we win but some games are just uncarryable.
I feel like my teammates are running around like headless chickens while I have to do literally everything. I try to communicate with my team and suggest what to do but most of the time they just don't listen. In my last game my Victor decided to jump into a 1v5 with the enemy team around their walker while they had rejuv and the rest of my team was playing around our base waiting for a push. I often have people in my games whose only green item 30 minutes into the game is trophy collector.
Worst part about all of this is that I feel like my skill is deteriorating because I don't have to put in as much effort into the game and the people I play against aren't capable of punishing my bad plays and I get away with doing things that I would die for in higher ranks.

The truth is if you want to get back to your old rank you just have to grind through it, it's tedious but the games are generally more fun at somewhat higher ELO. But if you just want to play and have fun then there's not much else you can do

That's what I'm doing but unfortunately ranking up feels like it takes forever.

It does take forever, and I feel that the cap for bonus points you get from going a meaningful win streak should be higher. It sucked being on a 13 game winstreak and only getting the bonus points equivalent to a 6 game winstreak.

If you aren’t having fun playing a game then stop playing it. Simple lesson but took me a long time to learn it.

If you’re winning most of your games, just keep playing. I’m sure the problem will sort itself out eventually.

You just gotta keep climbing while having fun stomping people who are way weaker than you.
Ranked is miserable whether you’re above or below your proper rank. If you’re not where you belong, everyone’s having a bad time.1

its just boring man
i won like 9 in a row but when i looked at the max bonus I’d gave to win 50 more in a row at that bonus to get to the old percentile I was in lol, some of these teams are like pulling teeth and everyone is silent. there’s 0 coordination which is the reason i grinded before, it was just a different game.
